The indolent scholar finds his friend, Pyong Yang, and asks for help. Gisaeng Cho Sun helps the scholar to return to Hanyang by providing Lao-tzu money to the scholar. After that, the scholar devoted himself to studying writing with revenge on his friend, and eventually appeared in Pyongyang as a cancer haenger.
However, Gisaeng Cho Sun conveys his sincerity of gratitude to his friend. It was that gratitude was trying to gethim to inspire that he was cold-hearted. Impressed, he appreciates his friend’s friendship and pairs up with Cho Sun.
