Another thumbs up for KBS drama. Only thing I want to know is why the Director changed his personality so much. He seems so feeble and whiny and even his body language has changed, he wasn’t like that in the beginning. Anyway, still good drama.

After being #1 in ratings for several episodes, this kkdrama is starting to show what you call audience fatigue. Story is great but producers should have extended the no of episodes. The ideal no is 50 and increasing that number due to financial greed sacrifices the overall quality of the drama. Just end the show and leave to the imagination of the viewers what happens next. I have not seen any successful kdrama that makes a seque. Anyway congrats to the cast, director, and script writer and the priduction staff for a job well done. I hope to see this type of drama

I really love this drama. For me, it’s my favorite Korean drama. I love the personalities, the acting and the story. I look forward to watching it every weekend and will be really sad when it ends. I’m happy the episodes were extended.

    j Says:

I just finished watching episode 31 and for people who have yet to watch… its good… but just be prepared…. I really can’t wait to see the last. And i am sad to see this drama end. The story line was written really well and the actors bring to the life the character that they are written for. I really hope that before the end.. there is some kind of engagement or something for the youngest couple… they are my favorite. I wonder and I am curious to see what is to come of the finale episode and how it will completely end.
ps i saw a interview done by the eldest daughter at a korean tv show and she said to be prepared for loads of tears….

    Dy.K Says:

This is the 1st kdrama with 50 eps that i actually really enjoy to watch every its episode. Light daily life comedy, full of meaning, good pace, and also very well cast. And every scene is reasonable. Not some of those very long lenght drama where every scene overly pushed for emotional roller coaster sometimw it doesn’t make sense.
And i like how the writer tied the end together. THAT last scene that happened after family singing contest…subtle yet deep.
Very recommended for those who like light comedy with family background story.

    mia andriyani Says:

I’m from Indonesia, I always like all dramas of Kim Hyun Joo, like glass slippery, boys before flower, sparkling twinkle-twinkle, and what happens to my family. This drama is so wonderful drama about family, so sad in ending but all of happy ending, suitable for getting awards and high ratings,, bravo,

to me this is the most catching drama that i have seen so far. I am not articulate, so cannot really express my feelings. the last episode is so heartrending, the song sung by the father and the call to the sister to portray the passing of the brother. its as though it is really happening in real life. the actors portrayal are vivid and realistic. the show of emotion when he sang the song.. realy grip my heart. he portrays the emotions of all the loving parents across the world….the lyric to the song (as translated) seeps into my heart..wrenching it with memories of being a daughter and the longings of being a parent.. Kudos to the writer, the song writer, the actor , and congratulations to all the cast and all concern with the drama

    Pi Says:

Daebak!!! I can laugh and cry a lot when i saw some episodes. All the characters play her role well. I love many korean drama but this one is my most favorite long series!

  20. 120
    Ivy Says:

My favorite drama! This drama is really good – good story, good casts, and have a lot of positive points. The first long drama that I’ve watched without skipping the episodes. Every episode is interesting and never boring. Love the story! I like Cha Dal Bong here, I find him attractive. Never bored to see him with Kang Seo Wool. Best couple!

Very recommended drama. That’s why this drama has a high rating and won a lot of awards, because this drama is really really good! Well done for the writer, producer, and all the casts!

PS: From now on, let’s appreciate our parents – spend more time with them and try not to make them upset. We’ll never know when our parents will leave us, so as long as we have the chance, let’s be closer to them and show our gratitude and love for them. (That’s the positive points from this drama).

    Snow Says:

Kelly @ 113, Dave @ 114 &116, Joko @ 115 you all are so very negative towards the actress. You sound like the same person–very jealous person at that. There is nothing wrong with the actress and I happen to think she is very pretty. I thought so in Angel Eyes. Seriously, I’m surprised that a “man” is make comments that are better suited for a 13 year old teenager. Which is exactly what the 3 of you sound like making these personal attacks. I would say, spend a little time in the mirror and think about the things others could be saying about you.

It’s better to comment on the drama and not the actress. She’s obvious really good at her job—she’s been in many dramas to be no more than 19/20 years old.

    pasby Says:

After several years of watching Korean dramas/series, I conclude :
Apparently money is the glue, the root, the source of all, every story (of people) there is under the sun. Especially Korean dramas/series.
    It’s always about money.
The package may differ – background/setting, characters, professions, locations….etc..but it always comes down to that – M O N E Y and the power it buys…
It could include, embed, insert good values, humors, ethics, morals, purity, naivete….etc…but, again, the money element/factor will eventually stands out.
    Implied always, is, hedonism.
Of supreme, utmost importance : Good looks, Glamors…as shown, in reality, the fact that cosmetic surgery becomes a common, every day norm.
It would be an interesting thing to note and watch in the future….how and what will be of the Koreans in real….
As somehow felt, an underlying nuance….
