Yes! Nam Ji Hyun. However she is not the main character. It’s 50 episodes.. tough choice.

  4. 4 : Piqueek Says:

Hahaha…hey the synopsis is kinda weird?
“…daddy sues his selfish children for not being undutiful to parents..”
Or is it really the dad sues his children for being too duty bound to him?

  5. 5 : LHRCN Says:

The daddy is sueing his children for not being dutiful to him.

Kim Hyun Joo, I am 100% in….. she is so beautiful

  6. 6 : Anastasia Says:

I am looking forward for this family drama as my favorite kind of K-drama. I hope this is more better than the one before.

  14. 14 : Micc Says:

    @popcorn -3

This is a family drama with many subplots. Nam Ji Hyun, Hyung Shik and Seo Kang Joon are going to be in the main part of the story, the other one will be Kim Hyun Joo. So yes, Nam Ji Hyun is a main cast!

  15. 15 : clara Says:

this drama is really funny and refreshing. .love it so much ♥

  16. 16 : sina Says:

this drama is superb!!! love it…

  17. 17 : roxyalso Says:

I will watch this…all the actors seem to mesh nicely. This is one of those unusual dramas where no one actor is in the lead, they all take turns…this for some reason, I find preferable to the other format. Good luck…

  18. 18 : wna Says:

love it so much! love all the casts! 😀

  19. 19 : Yozora Says:

Wow… This is shocking, the drama is not number 1? I thought the time slot always have a favor for KBS Drama…

  20. 20 : Micc Says:

I feel so sorry for the dad. I too, did’t understand this until I became a mom. The time, effort and money you have to invest in your child is no joke. Whatever the child accomplish, at least half of the efforts come from the parents. He doesn’t thank his dad for the support but he blames him for not in a position to make his life easier. Wow! Now I know why the dad has yo sue his kids. They deserve a lesson.

  21. 21 : reindeer song Says:

MICC, you chose too have them, it is your duty to educate and raise then well, then send them out into the world to be good and well rounded citizen, not to support you? It is not their duty, they did not asked to be born you bore them. It’s like standing on their shoulders keeping them down because we owe mummy for us being born, RUBBISH! That is selfish. My dad educated all his children, and never said well now girl you owe me for bringing you into the world. He is a professional man, but when he becomes of aged of course all his children will rally around him to give him the most comfortable life, not to suck the life from them before they even started by holding out your hand for their money.

  22. 22 : reindeer song Says:

  23. 23 : Micc Says:

    @Reindeer song

I think you misunderstood what I said. Of course children don’t ask to be born and parents have responsibilities. All I said was kids should show some respect and appreciation for what their parents have done for them. There are parents who care about their kids and there are parents who don’t. Not all parents are equal.

I don’t know if you have watched episode 7, the son blamed the father for not being rich enough or had any kind of influence so he could be more successful. His father supported him until he is a doctor. He should be making effort to achieve his goal going forward instead of blaming the dad for not being rich enough.

Most parents (unfortunately not all) love their children unconditionally. The more reason why the way this son blamed his dad really broke his heart. The dad thought he did hid best but unfortunately his son didn’t think that way. There is nothing more heart broken for a parent than being told that. I can tell you are not a parent yet.

  24. 24 : Micc Says:

    @reindeer song

I read your post again and I really think we are not arguing the same point. First, the dad in this drama is not trying to squeeze anything out of his children. I think in the synopsis, he will sue his children just to give them a lesson.

  25. 25 : Carmen Says:

The only way kids will understand all parents sacrifices, is when they became parents….this is the only way not until then.

  26. 26 : loulou Says:

The dad should just kick out the eldest kids. Especially the doctor he’s so full of hate. I wonder if they blame him for the death of their mother or something. The dad has no backbone….like seriously what kind of parent would let their kid talk to them this way? It is the first kdrama where kids disrespect their parents usually they get hit for almost anything lol

  27. 27 : lovemiko Says:

moral of storyExciting storyline . .full of joy and sorrow in family life
Like effective acting from Yoo Dong Geun , Kim Hyun Joo, Yoon Park, Hyung Shik, Nam Ji hyun
carry forward to watch this drama

    Moral of story:
respect , protect and love mother and father
    without him
    we are nothing …

  28. 28 : bobpin Says:

    Been following this drama.

Can say, so far so good. Good story, good cast, good acting. Good, good, good.

Hope it will stay this way till the end, and not fizzle out midway through the drama.

  29. 29 : Rose Says:

    I just saw Episode 5.
So I take it that Gang Jee – the dr. now went after the rich girl for the power and the money her family can offer him so he can further his career in the medical field. So much for his nurse/co-worker girlfriend. These dramas are all the same – power and money.

Are all Koran parents and grandparents in real life so adamant in pushing their children to get married whether they want to or not?? And match making their children to marry into a family with a good background, whether they like the person or not? I certainly would not be happy about getting married to some one I did not like, much less love. Is this a Koran custom? Most of the K-Drama’s seem to push this story line.

There have been a few shows where the 2 people fell in love and married each other w/o family influence. Very few though.

The father appears to be a good father and did the best he could. Gang Jee and Kang Shin are doing well w/their professions. Cha Dalbong is young and has to find his way yet.

  30. 30 : Rose Says:

loulou – I agree with you about all the Kdrama’s – where the parents usually boss their children around and hit them all the time in the head or wherever.

Does anyone know why the mother died? I did not see all the episodes and wonder if I missed that part.

If he doctor wants to climb up the ladder, marrying that girl will be perfect for him. The girl he was seeing is of no help to him in furthering his career.

The aunt and the son are trouble makers and just jump to all kinds of conclusions over nothing. They really stir the pot when what they are thinking is not even true. I don’t feel I could live with them. They would make me nervous.

  31. 31 : Micc Says:

    @Carmen -25

    You’re right! Can’t agree more.

  32. 32 : Georgie Says:

Soooo hilarious when the CEO started to kick and chase his grown son around… Koreans seem to be very expressive with their limbs, esp. to their family members… What’s the deal with the girl cousin and Aunt, their whole existence seem to be trouble to the family with a capital T…

  33. 33 : neea Says:

don’t understand the drama. How can that aunt stick her nose in in her niece’s and nephew’s personal matters? How come the father (her brother) allows her to go along the meeting with the future in-laws and let her say whatever she wants to say? How come the aunt and her daughter can stay in someone’s home, behave as if they (the aunt & daughter) are the owners instead of boarders and have a right to put their noses into everything that happens in that household?

  34. 34 : OK OK OK Says:

wo jie shuo hen hao kan !!!!

    nice 🙂

  35. 35 : sina Says:

congratulations for high rating.. keep it up! waiting more bongwool’s romance.. 🙂

  36. 36 : @odds Says:

I think the niece needs to shut up and sit down somewhere. She has caused major financial problems for her husband and then wanted to dictate how the money was distributed. Really . . . Now the father has torn up the checks. Here he is frustrated and concerned about his eldest son, while they on the other hand are concerned about the money. Also the eldest daughter told the truth to the brother, but he is not hearing it. He will have to pay the price and it will be costly.

  37. 37 : nunururululu Says:

    What happened with 14th eps?
    Anyone knows?

  38. 38 : stela Says:

The father seems to be a loving and self-sacrificing one. I wonder how the doctor-son can treat his father so coldly and disrespectfully. I really hate this character.

  39. 39 : Pee Cee Says:

Hi frenz…can you guys suggest me where i can watch this drama online…..

  40. 40 : aznative Says:

    @ Pee Ce

Licensed for the Americas at this site. http://www.viki.com/tv/23602c-what-happens-to-my-family?q=Wh

  41. 41 : Pee Cee Says:

    Thank you

  42. 42 : Lovely La Says:

Exactly, I was someone who hate watched drama which has long episode. but after watched some of the episode of this drama, I really fell into it. This drama full of feeling. I feel so enjoy while watching. this drama makes me laugh more. I like the cast and the story line. keep doing good for this drama.

  43. 43 : aznative Says:

    @ Rose

Yes, I believe the mother did pass away, but there were no scenes with her. The Aunt claims she helped raise the Cha children.

Started this drama last week and just finished episode 5. Made myself wait until “Jang Bo-ri” concluded before I started a new LONG drama. So far it’s been good. The second episode with the lip hijacking scene was so funny, the expression on Cha Dal-bong’s face was classic.

Discovered they cast Seo Kang-joon as the rival; his part in “Cunning Single Lady” was similar.

So happy to see Kim Hyun-joo, haven’t watched her in anything since “Twinkle, Twinkle” which I loved.

Have a great weekend drama fans and enjoy the latest episodes of “What’s With This Family”.

  44. 44 : aznative Says:

    @ Pee Cee

You’re quite welcome. Hope it works for you.

  45. 45 : tifany Says:

I really enjoy watching this drama. can’t help waiting the new episodes every week!!! Keep it up!

  46. 46 : Rose Says:

I saw several interviews with some of the main cast. I will do a recap of some of what was said.

Yoon Park – (Dr.) – is dating a girl for 222 days. She is a student. They have not gone public as he has to ask his agent first. Do the Korans count the days they date instead of the months? As I noticed when they make 100 days it is a celebration for them. He said that over time he sees Dambi as a women. Which indicates the nurse is completely out of the picture which is indicated by the beginning of the show when they show the couples together and she is not with the dr, Dambi is. Nor has she been in on any of the interviews. I was hoping the nurse would come back into the picture.

Nam Ji- Hyun – is 20 and in college. She was asked who she liked the best, Park Yung-Sik or Seo Kang Joon? She was sitting in between both of them, “she said she liked them both.”

re: Park Yung Sik — The interviewer said “he was getting a lot of praises for his acting, he laughed and said something about that he has a teacher.” When they break for lunch, etc., the cast usually leave, but he stays and hangs out with the production crew. Also in the morning when the actors arrive, he greets them with “Good morning and a hug.”

Kim Sang Kyung and Kim Hyun Joo were also interviewed. The father was not at either interview.

They said they all get along well and have a lot of fun.
The moderator said “he is different in person compared to the role he plays.”

  47. 47 : Rose Says:

P.S. The last sentence refers to the actor that plays the doctor. Somehow I made an error when entering after the fact.

  48. 48 : asa Says:

Great drama that keeps you wondering when who will become confirmed couples though it seems obvious enough. How their relationship grows provides all the worry or funny scenes. Kim Hyun Joo is so refreshing to see again. Seo Kang Joon is really handsome, but too bad for the lie and it looks like SW will stick to DB.

  49. 49 : NkolIka Nigeria Says:

This drama is well scripted. Keeps you glued to the seat. The actors and actresses are all doing wonderful job. I am particularly touched by the acting of the guy playing Dalbong. He is so so good and touches the depth of our soul with his acting. KBS should produce more of this kind of drama. The script writer of Two mothers-aka Cuckoo nest should learn how to write script from the person scripting this drama. Kudos to all involved.

I agree Seo Kang Joon is nice looking – he should have told the truth in the first place, and spoke up sooner when he saw her years later. This is the 3rd drama I have seen him in where he likes a girl, and she likes someone else == besides Cunningly Single – the other was Good Dr. Kang Joon is lonely, needs someone to care for him and be by his side. His mother is worthless to him. Now she has to start trouble by finding a wife for the son-in-law. Geez this is all the mother’s do in these K-Dramas. Gets tiring to see this in every drama. In real life Korea, are the parents the same putting pressure on their children to get married and have a baby immediately???

I like the main characters, enjoying the Director, but not keen on the young girl for some reason. And the aunt and niece need to be removed.

I assume Hyo Jin will soften Gang Jae up as their marriage goes forward. Hyo Jin kind of goes along with whatever her mother wants so far, and Gang Jae just agrees, except the pre=nup, but maybe she will change now that they are married. I can’t imagine living with Hyo Jin’s mother and her everything has to be perfect life.

Gang Jae sure dumped the nurse or whatever position she holds in a split second. I would have liked to see her character play out more as I liked wht I saw in her short span.

Well Hyo Jin’s father got what he wanted with regard to Gang Jae – afraid he was going to lose him to another hospital. That would be a good turn of events if that were to happen. That would be fun to see.

I don’t think we’ve seen a drama in a long time that has had such outstanding acting, writing, directing, and production as this one. Not since “A Wife’s Credentials”, where everything fits in place just right. This drama has laugh out loud parts, and very touching, thoughtful parts that bring tears to your eyes. The added production silliness of animation, pop-ups, and attention to detail make it all an A-1 drama. I just know the ending will not be a disappointment like “Wang Family”.

  53. 53 : OK OK OK Says:

Lead actor give a great surprise for his character in this drama – super funny – great acting 😛

  54. 54 : Dong Says:

Love this drama, love the cast, EXCEPT the aunt and her daughter character. If there is such award as the most annoying, irritating and busybody character, they will come out as the winner of the century.

    nothing against the actresses themselves

  55. 55 : Rose Says:

I just saw Episode 20 – little behind everyone else.

Does Gang Jae know that his mother -in-law gave his ex-girlfriend money to get rid of her??? I couldn’t understand when he was meeting his m-in-law when she gave him the charge card — did she tell him that she gave her some money to help her along?? I missed what she said even though I was watching it.

I am glad that Gang Jae stood up to his m-in-law about him helping out his ex-girlfriend
with her surgery. Who needs to be bossed around all the time by her.

But then, I guess when you have money you can buy off anyone you want.

  56. 56 : Rose Says:

OMG = This stupid son is nuts. He sure married into the right crazy family. He goes along with whatever his m-in-law says. I am hating him more and more. He is a doctor and he never even bothered, nor the sister, nor the nosy aunt and niece called the dr. that treated the father to see what is really wrong with him Now the son is going to take everything away from his father. And his wife – I just hate the way she baby talks and agrees with everything her mother says, and the idiot goes along with both of them. I can’t say enough bad things about him and his greed for money. I guess his ex-girlfriend was the same – she wanted everything and must have dumped Gang Gee for a guy that was rich and now they must have split up.

Does anyone think the little boy is Gang Gee’s? If so, he probably may never find out since the ex-girlfriend took the money and left.

I laughed so hard when Eun Ho started playing the guitar so loud and the step-dad fell out of the bed. That was hysterical.

These crazy punks extorting money from Dal Bong and Eun Ho. Can’t a lawyer get that taken care of so they don’t have to pay the extra $5,000?

  57. 57 : Tan Bee Lian Says:

The little boy is not Gang Gee. His ex-girlfriend told him so as he asked her this also.

Saw episode 25 and the children still did not realize what they had done wrong to their father. The daughter just blamed the lawyer thinking he is the one behind all this. Saw also the preview for episode 26. I think all the staff of the hospital now know about the court thing. It does not reflect well on Gang Gee and the father in law ask him to take care of that. Will have to wait until 25 and 26 Nov for Episode 26 & 27.

  60. 60 : Tan Bee Lian Says:

Totally agree. But in preview 26, KS told her father that his lawyer is actually her ex-boyfriend who left her. Her father was so shocked but will this affect him to change his mind of continuing to sue his children. Hope not. Cannot wait for Episode 26 & 27 on this saturday and sunday.

This drama rightly deserves to be on the Nr 1 slot.

Well done to the actors and actresses. I do love the Dad and the aunt’s acting. And yes, the aunt may be annoying but has all the right to act as such. Her heart is in the right place and is very loyal and caring to her brother.

And yes, the children deserved to be sued. They’ve all been so busy with their own lives that they’ve forgotten the importance of family. They’re also very selfish and a bit of kicking (in a certain area) could have woken then back to their senses.

Looking forward to watching the next episodes.

  64. 64 : Rose Says:

I just saw Ep 23 on Sunday, Nov 16.

I agree with you Syrena —

I finally have to give credit for once to the aunt for telling both Gang Jae and KS off. They deserved it. The writer also should have included Dal Bong along w/his girlfriend in that scene also. The children are so selfish. They were so busy they didn’t have time for their mother’s memorial, but yet they don’t want the dad to have a lady friend. I am sure there was some one else in the office to pour drinks for the Director’s meeting instead of KS. How important was that??

That mother-in-law really can cause trouble, and her puppet of a daughter is dingy. Doesn’t she have a mind of her own? Gang Jae is now a puppet like his wife, and just goes along and does everything he is told.

GJ is living in luxury with his in-laws, big SUV, etc. and he had the audacity to tell the father he would put him in an apartment and give him money to live on!!! He is disgusting and so cruel to his dad. The kids would forget all about the father in the apartment.

And kudos to the father for suing his children. I am very proud of him.

  65. 65 : Adeul Says:

The oldest son’s a proper dick.

  66. 66 : stela Says:

I love the characters of Eun Ho and Seo wool. They are both sensible unlike the immature Dalbong. I dont understand how Kang shim can be so uncaring and insensitive to her family , the exact opposite of how she is in the office. And I still do not understand why Kang Jae is so bitter and angry at his father.

  67. 67 : Rose Says:

Stela Says —- I wonder if something happened between the dad and the son somewhere in their past that we don’t know about yet?

While all 3 of the children have someone in their life, they are so selfish they don’t want the father to have a woman in his life.

The son is like brainwashed by his mother-in-law. How did he get to be a doctor. I thought he was educated, but he does whatever his m-I-law tells him to do and his idiot of a wife is nothing but a pansy, at least at this point in the story.

  68. 68 : Addie Says:

I just finished ep 25 and had to take long deep breaths. That was an awesome episode! So proud of the father! I was clapping along and serves-you-damn-right at those delicious part where he stood up to his children. What bugs me the most is Kangjae’s MIL, she is really the cause of all this mess. I mean they were terrible before but she really did it, and the wife gahhhh so stupid just following whatever stupid plan her mother has. Those ideas about the lady friend the father has, she’s the one who plant the seed the lady is richer than the fatherrrr she doesnt want the stinking land argghh *deep breath*
Anyway, love you ma and pa. I’ll remember to think of you as a person too, not just ‘parent’. 😄

  69. 69 : Alice Johnson Says:

I love this drama. The kids are so selfish they didnt even take time to read the lawsuit. His home is where he raised his family with his wife. They didnt notice he was sick or needed new shoes. They never talk to him eat with him they didnt remember his birthday or the mothers memorial. They treat everyone else better then him but if he dies they will regret it. This drama has everything I cant wait to see how it unfolds. I laugh and cry during this drama. I hope the father takes this all the way.

  70. 70 : ydg5 Says:

Fantastic! Wonderful script! Another must watch KBS family drama. So much to learn here. Thanks for creating this project. Congratulations to the WHTMF team!

  71. 71 : Rose Says:

We didn’t see much of the R.N., was that her position?, at the hospital that Gang Jae I guess was dating or whatever, but I thought she was more of a “REAL” down to earth person that the “ding bat” that he married.

Gang Jae is supposedly to be a good doctor, but yet he had to marry into a rich family to – what better himself??!! Funny his sister was trying to tell him when he was going to marry into that family, but she sure didn’t talk her brother out of the idea of selling their family’s house and the store to get her hands on the MONEY. As I said in an earlier post, money can buy just about anyone.

  72. 72 : Rose Says:

Gang Jee’s idiot wife and her mother caused the father to go over the brink with selling property, and both Gang Jee doesn’t get it. I thought the lawyer did a good job questioning the three of them, but none of what he said sank into their pee brains.

I can’t believe Gang Jee is in love with his wife. Doctor’s usually attend different functions, and his wife would never make a good impression. Her mother, is a trouble maker, etc., but she would present herself well at any function her husband would attend.

I assume with Gang Jee’s idiot wife living under Gj’s roof, the father maybe will make a woman out of her as she won’t be under her mother’s wing. Not that she can’t call her every minute.

When all is said and done, I believe all 3 children will end up pretty well off at the end of the show.

When the lawyer was locked in his office, it would have been funny if he could have snuck out his window and made it over to he father’s house. When the director opened the door and found no one there, would he have been in for a surprise. A little of my sick humor.

I like Ms. Ko. She is handling herself and the situation with the stubborn 3 children very well

  73. 73 : Dy.K Says:

Good moral of the story, about parent loves to their children is immortal, you cannot measure it with money. All you have to do just love them back and give them the same affection when you were a kid.
Aside from that i love it…its getting funnier and funnier. Eps 28 above hillarious 😀 Usually i don’t like drama with longs episode. But this one is worth your weekend time.
My fav is Director Moon and Secretary Cha, mature couple but with childish behaviour. Definitly keeps me watching!

  74. 74 : sylvia Says:

  76. 76 : Noranuar Says:

I really enjoyed this family comedy and love drama best. I love all the players and I gave two thumbs up

  77. 77 : Rose Says:

Gang Jee is cares more for his in-laws and shows them more respect than his father. But then he did marry into that family because of what they could do for his career. He was willing to go out of the country even though the father wants him to stay at his family house for 3 months.

I wonder what Ms Ko’s background history is??? This should prove to be interesting and somewhat threatening it appears to Yang Geum. Maybe Ms. Ko will knock her down a peg or two.

If EunHo’s mother gets into her husband’s company, I wonder what chaotic situations will arise??? It looks like the employees won’t be happy.

  78. 78 : corncob Says:

This Gang Jae fellow is such a horrible and selfish person. He is so money face. I am glad that I do not have a brother like him. If it were, I think I might be “fighting” with him most of the time, as he’s so obnoxious and a jerk! Imagine, him trying to sell out his own hardworking father! The father did the right thing to sue him. Fighting father!

Ms Ko sure is one wise and tough streetwise lady. I salute her. She’s going to give Gang Jae’s mother-in-law hell. I suspect the mother-in-law thought that she’s safe with her secret, which is, that her background is from either a poor family, the type that she is looking down on (Gang Jae’s family) or that she has a chequered past which cannot see the light of day. And Ms Ko knows her secret! Good, hope Ms Ko can put this witch in her place. Time the mother-in-law knows the smell of the ground she struts in.

Another witch is Eun Ho’s mother. She’s starting to show her claws. And the silly Tae Jo is too lovesick to realise that his family is at risk of being relegated to sleep on the street if this witch gets her way. Wake up Tae Jo! Your dad needs you!

  79. 79 : Hanover Says:

Beats me how anyone could like the Chairman’s son, TJ. He’s such an idiot – at least he acts like one. It’s so different from what he started out to be. What a pity the Director has to make KS like him.

  80. 80 : Rose Says:

Corncob— I agree with what you said. Gang Jee only married into that family for what they could do for him. And his wife is nothing but a ding bat.
I wonder how much she was cooking in the kitchen with the family cook in there???? Then she blamed Seoul for taking the limelight away from her. What were they supposed to do, starve???

It is obvious Gang Jee did not love her when he married her, but his wife is staying at the father’s house for Gang Jee so he will drop the suit. Eventually he may come to love her. I just can’t stand they way she talks though. Like she has a mouth full.

Ms. Ko saw the father’s test results at the hospital, and I am glad she is there for him. I really Ms Ko ( Kim So Ra) n this role. I have seen her in quite a few dramas.

I kind of like the lawyer that broke up with GS. I do agree TJ is off the wall right now.

  84. 84 : Rose Says:

I was so proud of Eun Ho for standing up to his idiot mother. I do feel bad for him as he just wants a normal mother/son relationship, and also someone who is on his side.

I hope Ms. Ko tells Gang Jee and big earful on his oh so rich mother -in-law. I just hope what her prior life was comes to the surface for all to find out.

After also this, the 3 kids still don’t understand where the father is coming from. I feel so bad for him. I hope it won’t be too late when they wake up to reality instead of only worrying about their self.

By the way, where is the son of the niece and her husband?

  85. 85 : Rose Says:

When Hyo Jin married Gang Jee, she didn’t know that he didn’t love her and married her for what her parents could do for him. When she asked him he couldn’t even tell her that he loved her. That will change.

I do have to say that Gang Jee supports his in-laws and sticks up for them.

  86. 86 : Rose Says:

I was happy that Ms. Ko and the aunt let fancy pants Yang Geum have it. She really needs to be put down as she thinks she is so great. Her husband is an idiot also. Just boss everyone around and think everyone should just take it.

I find it interesting that Hyo Jin never questions Gang Jee or herself why he married her since he said he didn’t love her. If it was me, I sure would be asking as I would want to know. She was so hot to marry him, she didn’t know the real reason he married.

After being #1 in ratings for several episodes, this kkdrama is starting to show what you call audience fatigue. Story is great but producers should have extended the no of episodes. The ideal no is 50 and increasing that number due to financial greed sacrifices the overall quality of the drama. Just end the show and leave to the imagination of the viewers what happens next. I have not seen any successful kdrama that makes a seque. Anyway congrats to the cast, director, and script writer and the priduction staff for a job well done. I hope to see this type of drama

The story line was written really well and the actors bring to the life the character that they are written for. I really hope that before the end.. there is some kind of engagement or something for the youngest couple… they are my favorite. I wonder and I am curious to see what is to come of the finale episode and how it will completely end.

This is the 1st kdrama with 50 eps that i actually really enjoy to watch every its episode. Light daily life comedy, full of meaning, good pace, and also very well cast. And every scene is reasonable. Not some of those very long lenght drama where every scene overly pushed for emotional roller coaster sometimw it doesn’t make sense.
And i like how the writer tied the end together. THAT last scene that happened after family singing contest…subtle yet deep.

I am not articulate, so cannot really express my feelings. the last episode is so heartrending, the song sung by the father and the call to the sister to portray the passing of the brother. its as though it is really happening in real life. the actors portrayal are vivid and realistic. the show of emotion when he sang the song.. realy grip my heart. he portrays the emotions of all the loving parents across the world….the lyric to the song (as translated) seeps into my heart..wrenching it with memories of being a daughter and the longings of being a parent.. Kudos to the writer, the song writer, the actor , and congratulations to all the cast and all concern with the drama

There is nothing wrong with the actress and I happen to think she is very pretty. I thought so in Angel Eyes. Seriously, I’m surprised that a “man” is make comments that are better suited for a 13 year old teenager. Which is exactly what the 3 of you sound like making these personal attacks. I would say, spend a little time in the mirror and think about the things others could be saying about you.

It’s better to comment on the drama and not the actress. She’s obvious really good at her job—she’s been in many dramas to be no more than 19/20 years old.

After several years of watching Korean dramas/series, I conclude :
Apparently money is the glue, the root, the source of all, every story (of people) there is under the sun. Especially Korean dramas/series.
    It’s always about money.
The package may differ – background/setting, characters, professions, locations….etc..but it always comes down to that – M O N E Y and the power it buys…
It could include, embed, insert good values, humors, ethics, morals, purity, naivete….etc…but, again, the money element/factor will eventually stands out.
    Implied always, is, hedonism.
Of supreme, utmost importance : Good looks, Glamors…as shown, in reality, the fact that cosmetic surgery becomes a common, every day norm.
It would be an interesting thing to note and watch in the future….how and what will be of the Koreans in real….
As somehow felt, an underlying nuance….
