Synopsis
This drama is about Kim Hae Il (Kim Nam Gil) who is a priest with anger issues, Goo Dae Young (Kim Sung Kyun) who is a Gudam police detective, and Park Kyung Sun (Lee Ha Nui) who is a prosecutor. They join and work together to find the killer of a priest.

By coincidence , this is the third drama in a short time I am watching with LEE HA NUI in a lead role. ( after “Modern Farmer and Rebel: Thief Who Stole The People “)
And surprised her drama-list is rather short.
Why ?
She is a beauty for sure, but her acting is on toplevel, full of energy.
And she is very well able to portray completely different types of characters.
For me she is in the same superleague , on par with Ha Ji Won, Shin Min Ah, Moon Geun Young and Gong Hyo Jin, to name a few.
( There are only a few in that league in my humble opinion )

Lee Ha Nui was ex Miss Korea. And her current boyfriend is one of GOD’s guys, who is also an actor Yoon Kye-sang. And I agree she’s a pretty good actress.

Lol! The homage to “Mr Sunshine” at the end of 22 was just too funny. I was expecting it cos the prior scenes were leading towards it.
I just love this drama. Both Nam Gil and Ha Nui are friggin’ awesome.
Ha Nui being cast as prosecutor Park clinched it. She brings depth to the character, it is such joy to watch her performance.

Lee Ha Nee perfectly portrays Prosecutor Park. Can’t describe how much I adore her. ❤
The scenes of Father Kim & Prosecutor Park are superpower 👍 Thanks to their scenes I laugh alot. Esp ep 23-24 (12).
I really enjoy wathing this drama. It deserves many awards on SBS Drama Award 2019. Esp Lee HaNee and the director.

I am surprised that the rating of this drama in Korea is so high, not my cup of tea. I only peep at the TV when my wife is watching, the story telling is too crazy for my taste but I guess people like it as a comedy.

Wasn’t sure about this one since it’s not my favorite genre, but it’s gotten a lot of positive feedback, so I think I should check The Fiery Priest out 🙂
