After such bitter incident, Jung-im is dragged to I-dol concerts by her friend Aeh-ran, and unexpectedly ends up in a fight. Soon, the press releases news about her under the title by, “the revolting vigilant fan in her thirties!” Then Jung-im’s life falls apart, as Tae-ho divorces her. Yet what she had not realized is that her life could also turn towards “good” when given just the right chance. As entertainment agency’s head Hyun-wook decides to turn Jung-im into a successful Cinderella, her life changes! @Lhopital

    I took a look at your blog and saw that you have the episodes uploaded to megaupload… but do the files have English subs? It’ll be quite disappointing to download an episode that’s over 800MB only to find out it has no English subs…

  25. 25 : miss a korea Says:

    ireally love this drama

  26. 26 : cookieinhotpink Says:

    so far the story is dragging…a bit tired of the unfaithful husband plot which always has a mistress in waiting (women with no pride at all). this was also played out for a time on three brothers (so glad that it was resolved in no time or the story would have really sucked). i was hoping for a more entertaining/uplifting story. i feel sorry for the jung-im. i hope the story picks up soon – and that the wife will bounce back better than the spineless husband. sorry for such a negative comment, i guess i was expecting too much. i was such a fan of my precious you and sol brothers that it changed my weekends!

  27. 27 : cookieinhotpink Says:

    i really don’t like the unfaithful husband and a female co-worker who flirts too much plot. it’s never entertaining. i find it ironic that the premise of the show is about marriage and yet it shows a negative side of it. i hope the stroy improves… or it will be painful to watch 50 episodes of it.

  28. 28 : jay Says:

    i really like this drama. i hope there still has a season 2.

  29. 29 : jether_nice@yahoo.com Says:

    I’m pretty new to the drama, but can anybody tell me who that lawyer guy is? Something like her fiance or something? He’s not listed in the credits but he looked familiar to me so I was wondering what his name is

  31. 31 : AiyaWhoAmI Says:

    oops sorry! Taeho’s sisters fiance! Not the main character!

  39. 39 : erin Says:

    hi uninie lee advance happy b-day 2 u, & i love u, 2,

  40. 40 : USA-Mary Says:

    Jong Dae is acting like an old fool! His son Tae Ho, with all his intellect, is acting like a jackass and an infatuated elementary school boy towards his talk ho-host, I mean talk co-host! hehehe

  41. 41 : melanie Says:

    I enjoy watching This Drama and I Luv it sooo much THANKS KBS!!!!!

  42. 42 : USA-Mary Says:

    Okay! After getting a sneak peek…and I won’t say how…but, this drama is getting better as it goes along! Thankfully!

    Jung Im…I like her character’s stance towards her husband’s behavior, marriage, and herself! Yet, after sacrificing so much for her husband to achieve success, she became lost in that pursuit, in addition to taking care of his family as a filial daughter-in law that she forgot about herself and her dreams! No wonder she didn’t continue with her intellectual growth along with her husband…she didn’t have time! Also, Jong Dae’s behavior begins to improve, somewhat towards his wife and Tae Ho…well, he’s definitely worth watching after he and Jung Im split! He will actually become funny in a ‘I miss you-puppy love’ kind of way! It’s cute and too funny!

    Might I add that the character, Choi Hyun Wook is so FINE in this drama (fireworks are going off)! Also, the men in this drama have been doing some serious work-outs with weights! Check out their arms and chest (waving sparklers in the air)!

  43. 43 : USA-Mary Says:

    This is a must see drama! From watching it…this year must not be an auspicious one for courtships! ~smile~ Its start may be a little slow…yet, the tempo picks up, and becomes progressively humorous as it goes along! Love Tae Ho’s mother Soon Ok, she proves that she’s not a pushover and is definitely worth her grain of salt! She’s a wonderful actress! The father Jong Dae is a hoot! Tae Ho, Tae Ho, Tae Ho…what to do and say about you?????? Not only is the jury out when it comes to you and your behavior…the entire court system had to take a break! hehehehe His developed philosophy towards marriage is WHACKED OUT! He’s a polygamist want to be, at least that’s what he imagines…but its not the case!

    Da Hye and Kang Ho, though young, are so sweet together…a perfect match!

    Jung Im and Ae Ran are the best as friends!

    I noticed in this drama that the wives didn’t take their husbands’ surnames!

  44. 44 : melanie Says:

    I also Hope There will be Season 2 for this wonderful Drama!!!! Please …..in the future,of course same Cast…..

  45. 45 : USA-Mary Says:

    AN EXCELLENT MUST SEE DRAMA!

    The subs can’t come fast enough for me when it comes to this drama (I’m really working at being patient)! Wow…a season 2 would definitely be great…at this point, its amazing (for me) how I’m already looking for another season as it gets close to the end! BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO Kim Ji Young…a truly gifted actress! She and Lee Jong Hyuk have great chemistry! Everyone in this drama is excellent! Tremendous chemistry and excellent plot!

  46. 46 : Mags-Brunei Says:

    I love this drama and i was just surfing through KBS and this drama caught my attention.. from then on i was hooked.. i cried when jung-im was hurt & her husband is an ass (please excuse my language) and so full of himself.. all the characters in these drama is very awesome and they make can make you feel their passion and truly believe in the roles that they act out will they produce these on DVD cos i would love to watch it from the beginning… m trying to watch it every weekend as much as i can.. thanks KBS and thank god we have their channel.. i

  47. 47 : USA-Mary Says:

    @Mags-Brunei. It is an exceptional drama to watch! I’m thoroughly enjoying it now, though I somewhat questioned its beginning. It’s wonderful that you can watch this drama on your tv. Unlike some of the rest of us who have to wait for the subtitles! I’d even watch it in the raw version until the subs come out, but there are a some of meanies out there that won’t allow some of us to do that!

  48. 48 : Yul kimn Says:

    now at Malaysia airing ep31….how satisfied watch Jeongn nim slapped his husband..wee~~~ He deserved dat… nappeun namja….

  49. 49 : JC Says:

    I love watching this drama and I hope Jung Im and Mr. Choi would grow to like one another. That’d be a sweet revenge to Jung Im’s self-centred husband.

    The OST used at the opening of the drama is very upbeat and would anyone know where I can download the OST of this drama?

  50. 50 : Mathew Says:

    Loving the show! I’m actually watching it at KBSworldi.com, the official KBS website… it costs a bit, but I just couldn’t stand to wait so much longer to see the subbed episodes for free!!!
    I’d also enjoy seeing this show into a second season, but won’t hold my breath for it; we all know, by now, that K-Drama seldom runs into a second season. A single season, running 50 episodes, is pretty much unheard of, as it is!

    I often wonder just how they schedule their programs; here in the USA, there are the 1 hour and 1/2 hour tv shows – rarely do we have a show scheduled for a longer time slot than that. The thought of how to simply schedule a tv show that runs just over an hour (without commercials!) is a bit confusing, here. I’m sure it all works out.

    I agree – that face-slap was a precious moment! I often find myself sympathizing quite a bit for the Jeongim character; she may not be the hottest gal on the show, but I think she’s the most lovable, by far. I’d pick her, certainly!

  51. 51 : lovejoo Says:

    hi guys i love this drama. lets keep commeting about it. it deserve to be on the top. dont you think?

  52. 52 : lovejoo Says:

    dosnt Kim Ji Young look like sam son? i mean kim sun ah

  53. 53 : Please Marry Me Says:

    I have been eyeing for ep 25 but there is still no english sub.. can anyone help me where to watch it with eng sub?, will be appreciated.. thank you

  54. 54 : USA-Mary Says:

    This is an excellent drama!

  55. 55 : Shing Says:

    This is a great show! I love Nam Jong Im n the song!!!

  56. 56 : abby Says:

    absolutely this is the drama that will takes your heart to the level of hates, love,deceit and ambition.Being a woman and to eye another mans woman
    and with no regards of what other people say is just a disgrace to the society. They have no right to be love and be loved.

  57. 57 : Stella Says:

    When watch this first time not very interest but later on really love this drama… it’s so family drama… very real story, very simple yet entertain a lot… anybody can create the synopsis for each episode?

  58. 58 : USA-Mary Says:

    I like the fact that Jung Im doesn’t settle for being 2nd…because she knows that she deserves better! She deserves to be loved and cared for by a good man with the same intensity she put into the relationship toward her then husband and his family! In marriage, the woman shouldn’t be the 1st which denotes a 2nd, she should be the only one in her husband’s eyes!

  59. 59 : USA-Mary Says:

    @abby. Ditto! That type woman is nothing but a tramp!

  60. 60 : kimmy Says:

    anybody know where to download the song sung by Jung Im at the end of ep 35?

  61. 61 : Snowz Says:

  62. 62 : icharyess Says:

    thanks Snowz! i’ve been looking forward to her song ^0^ Gamsahabnida!

  63. 63 : Maria N. Says:

    Love this show!

    I’m a Canadian mom of teen girls and was looking for an alternative “clean-moral” shows. A friend suggested the Korean Drama site. I absolutely love “Please marry me” We are so hooked, great story line. We can’t wait for the next eng-sub. episode to be loaded.

  64. 64 : KDAddict Says:

    love this drama so much & especially Kim Ji Young rocks!!
    Luv the song that she sang :)))

  65. 65 : maria Says:

    love this drama I like Kim Ji Young doing the role of Nam Jong Im and her singing that song.

    I wish the english sub are faster than they are now.

  66. 66 : Kimmy Says:

    thanks snowz..

  67. 67 : James Baskara Says:

    Dear Snowz,

    Thank you very much.
    Really love the song!

  68. 68 : melanie Says:

    i really love this Drama!!! Thank You KBS!!!!! I wish there are more episodes added…..

  69. 69 : Sukhipanna Says:

    I love Jeong Gim’s character in this drama. She makes me cry many times. I hope she will have victory at the end of this drama. And I hope she and Producer Choi will have romance blossom between them. Really don’t like Jeong Gim’s hubby and the other broadcasting girl.

    Does anyone know where else can we download the OST for this drama? Even the OST at the start of the drama sounds good…ha ha..I am probably saying that becoz I really enjoy the drama. As a result, I am enjoying everything about it!

  70. 70 : ForeverKimHyunJoong Says:

    @Snowz Thanks for the link. I liked the song. Was in tears when she sang in before her unsupporting husband and the boss who had faith in her.

  71. 71 : melanie Says:

    I HOPE NAN JUN JUNG WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THE PRODUCER TOO.

  72. 72 : maria usa Says:

    I hope there is onother continuation on this drama becouse right now I am very disapointed with the last episode.

  73. 73 : suerainy Says:

    i kinda like this drama…although at times, well, a lot of times actually, it gets on my nerves because the pace is too slow…you get to watch the same thing and same situation…hear the same script… the only thing that makes my eyes glued (and my butt as well…:0) to the tv set is the prospect of the budding relationship between the oh-so-handsome-and-manly Mr Choi and ahjumma…other than that…sigh…

    And does anyone know who sings at the end of the drama? The song haunts me…it’s so sad…

  74. 74 : USA-Mary Says:

    The jury is in and the verdict has been handed down! Kim Tae Ho, though handsome in appearance…reminds me of a few unsavory wild animals, including a weasel and jackass (in a somewhat domesticated form)! hehehe Who wants to be hurt continually (by Tae Ho) when you don’t have to be…nip it, snip it…whatever it takes!

    Re Mr. Choi…I hope he and Jung Im get together in the end. This man is fine, handsome, confident, MANLY…whew…and boy IS HE…peaceful, loves nature, energizing, did I mention fine, encouraging, humane and his very presence appeals to Jung Im’s feminine nature! If she doesn’t want him…I’ll gladly TAKE and RECEIVE him! ~Smile~

  75. 75 : USA-Mary Says:

    Hi suerainy! It’s me SHOUT-Out!

  76. 76 : USA-Mary Says:

    @suerainy…ditto about the budding relationship between Jung Im and Mr. Choi with his handsome, fine self, kind-hearted self! I like good guys, not bad guys!

  77. 77 : Nina Says:

    I watch this drama in So California, USA. Last night was Episode 39. where JungIm went to do the radio show.

    This was one the saddest episodes I’ve ever seen !

    Seeing her fumble with the microphone, her quivering voice and the audience laughing …..why…why she decided to sing, knowing how nervous she was ?

    And her father putting her down, just before the show, it was sickening !

    The soon to be ex-husband is a bully, I hope she doesn’t go back to him.

  78. 78 : suerainy Says:

    Hi ya Shout-out aka USA-Mary…it’s been a long time, eh..I’m glad that we got reconnected…:D

    Saw ep 46 yesterday…I had my hopes up, because I really thought that Mr. Choi and ahjumma would really, finally, make it to first base…kiss, popo…I was hanging on a tightrope, waiting…hoping..but alas, I was disappointed, it didnt happen. They were like playing this cat and mouse game. Jeongim was still not sure whether she had the right or the confidence to feel or fall for Mr. Choi…and Mr. Choi still doesnt know his own feelings…whether he sympathizes her or loves her…it’s making me crazy!!! Do I need to wait for 4-5 more eppies before they finally confide to each other? Ugghhh…

  79. 79 : tina Says:

    I almost didn’t watch this drama after the 1st epi. I’m glad I stuck with it. Jungim is such a genuine person and still trying to listen to her husband until last nite. Her husband confesses his attraction to his beautiful co-worker and Jungin finally tells him they both will stay married but live their own lives. I cannot wait to see what will happen in this marriage. Her husband is so mean and disrespectful toward his wife. I suppose the youngest son will marry is pregnant girlfriend and the school teacher will get the single dad eventually.

  80. 80 : ShoutOut Says:

    @suerainy. Hi…girl! Your other drama-buddy-online (me) is estatic about the reconnection, as well! 😀 I totally agree with you about Mr. Choi (with his FINE self…whew) and Jung Im.

    I, personally, gave her slithering lizard of a husband the ‘BOOT’ waaaaaay before she did! This writer is absolutely intriguing, yet a little crazy in my opinion! Here’s why! There’s ‘NO WAY’ that I could ask the other woman (Seo Young), who’s ‘eyeing’ my husband what her interest is in him…then sit there and listen to her tell me that she sees him as a man! Okay…logically speaking, I see him as a man, too! Just looking at him, it’s obvious that he’s not a woman! So, in ‘WHAT WAY’ do ‘YOU…HUSSY’ see my man as a man? We all know by now that according to Korean standards, when that question is answered in that way, it means intimately! The only thing I will say about that matter is this….that conversation wouldn’t be happening with me at all!

    To the director and writer:
    Come on! Give us some romantic action between Mr. Choi and Jung Im…PLEEEEEASE!

  81. 81 : USA-Mary Says:

    @suerainy. I want to add something that I’ve noticed about Mr. Choi. Though he’s interested in Jung Im, he’s aware that she still needs time to resolve the feelings she still has for her ex-husband. He’s aware that they’ve been separated/divorced for a very short period of time, and continues looking for that moment when he assuridly, knows that she has finally broken all emotional ties with her ex. This man is smart because he’s not pushy, nor demanding of her. He’s slowly, yet gently making deposits into Jung Im’s heart…drawing her in with his sincere encouragement, tender care, and kindness. Showing her that he’s a MAN (YES, he IS) that’s trustworthy, dependable, and a stable, secure refuge for her now, and hopefully, on a permanent, intimate basis in the future. While her ‘can’t make up his jealous mind’ foolish, ex-husband, continues to do stupid, annoying things that pushes her away from him more and more.

    It makes me wonder if the writer has a ‘bomb’ waiting for us at the end, because they’ve been known to pull some huge surprises in these dramas! Well, I hope that ‘bomb’ is that she chooses Mr. Choi and not her emotionally wayward ex!

    P.S. I just love her mother-in-law, brother-in-law, and newly-married, cute and funny younger sister-in-law! They’re precious jewels to be treasured! Great acting!

  85. 85 : Mr Choi Says:

  87. 87 : USA-Mary aka ShoutOut Says:

    @suerainy. I’m having to play catch-up right now with this drama, since I was out of town on business for a while!

    Are you on facebook?

  88. 88 : maria usa Says:

    well about Taeho sister she is not a good sister in law towards Jung Im and now shes about to have an in laws just like her.

  89. 89 : USA-Mary Says:

    @maria usa. I agree with you totall!

  90. 90 : USA-Mary Says:

    @maria usa. Oops! Correction! It should read…I agree with you totally! ~smile~

  91. 91 : Sylvia Says:

    Mr. Director and Mr. Writer you should be thankful if these series still have good rating for the next espisodes. I will finish 50 episodes tomorrow and I’m really boring to see all those ‘useless scenes’ and Jong Im stupidity. I felt sorry for her life before but now I start to understand why Tae Ho never respect her. I don’t remember how many times she has met Tae Ho just to talk about nothing, met Seo Young just to hear her ‘advices’ and how many times she said that she would start her new life and live happily but she looks like she’s gonna crash herself to the train then when some junior singers threw her with eggs and she didn’t do anything ???? It’s so tiring and so bored you know ??? If finally she would come back to his husband, believe me we don’t need 56 episodes !!

  92. 92 : USA-Mary Says:

    @Sylvia. So very, very TRUE! I concur about 56 episodes with a return path to her ex-husband! Why mess up a good drama! Just teach the ex-husband a lesson he will never forget! Either Mr. Choi is going to get her or give it a rest and us a BREAK! The scene with her getting pelted with eggs and just stood there was ridiculous! It should have been on and popping in that lobby…if only with her mouth, a show of her fist (ready to slam them), or high-heeled shoe (off foot-in hand of course)! Oh…first the scene with the woman in the make-up room who threw the empty bottle at her feet should have been the start of her being tagged as CRAZY!

    By the way, what is ‘IT’ with her continually receiving advice from Seo Young about her relationship with her ex! Why make her out to be STUPID! Personally, it’s very annoying to me as a woman…because there’s only a few instances where a person can be deemed naive…say once, sometimes twice, but after THAT…on a continual basis it’s deemed STUPIDITY!

    I rest my case!

  93. 93 : Jean Koh Says:

    Can someone tells me did she goes back to her ex? If she does she is stupid. What she had gone through during the many earlier episodes like not being respected, things being thrown at her,all the heartaches (she cried and I cried with her w hen her ex said that he pitied her and now I feel that my tears are wasted). There is this gentleman right infront of her and she cant see??? She must be blind!!! I dont pity her anymore. I just take the last episode to get back to him out of total of 56 episodes. Anyone out there agrees with me???? WISHING EVERYONE A MERRY AND BLESSED CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY 2011.HOPE THAT WE WILL HAVE MORE GOOD DRAMAS TO WATCH IN THE COMING NEW YEAR.

  94. 94 : Jean Koh Says:

    sorry there is a typo error. Should be IT just take 1 episode………

  95. 95 : USA-Mary Says:

    @Jean Koh. Ditto! It’s getting to the point where I stop watching some of these type dramas (especially, when it started out so good-then takes a very dark turn) because they begin to either tire me or irk me! Neither emotion is a place I desire to embrace or hang out at nor do I make a practice of having it hang around me!

  96. 96 : suerainy Says:

    season’s greetings everybody…hope you had a merry christmas…
    now coming back to the show, i guess all of us, if not some of us (or just me) are pretty damn tired of the “recycled” dialogues, scenes, episodes…it’s like riding in a roller coaster or driving 360 degrees at a roundabout, endlessly..or hearing a broken record playing again again and again, when in the end all you can do is vomit, puke, throw up…It was so bad, I flipped channels when it was not about Jung Im and Mr. Choi…Seriously, I had high hopes for this show, I really thought that it will be on par with the Three Brothers or Sols Pharmacy Brothers…That is why, till this very day, I find it bizarre and dumbfounding that this show can maintain it’s 1st rating…
    p/s: Hiya ShoutOut…happy holidays girl…yeah, i’m on facebook, but not a junkie…you can find me at suhaila sharaini…hey, have you watched Secret Garden? I’m so in lurrrvvveee with it…

  97. 97 : ShoutOut Says:

    Hiyur…suerainy! Girl…you always have a way to make me laugh! GREAT! I’ll contact you!

    Now about this drama. Though I really liked it in the beginning, to tell the truth…I got off this merry-go-round a while back! I just periodically checked in to see if anything had changed! I know its the writer’s choice…but some concepts just doesn’t add up to me…but that’s creativity, I suppose! Jung Im, in the beginning shows promise of emotional growth and the basic human respect for oneself (survival of the fittest). Then, suddenly goes on an emotional downward spiral of waver-confusion like her ex-husband by catering to his continual, obnoxious appearances and constant sitting in the prescence of and listening to the silly chick her ex had the hottest of hots for! Writer, writer, writer! Come on now! Well, regarding the high ratings…I wonder why!

    I will check out Secret Garden!

  98. 98 : Midwest Mz Says:

    Ok, it is only a t.v. program, but when we choose to ‘loose’ ourselves in it, we would like to think that it could be believeable!! There are some that are ‘out to lunch’ on a daily bases. The husband is one, and his reservation should be cancelled where she is concerned. Mr. Choi, hubba hubba, he knows when to nudge her on, and when to stand firm to help her grow. There was an old movie, “The Mouse that Roared,” Jung Im’s charater reminded me of that title. She faced a very rude awakening, struggled and grew into a fantastic person on screen. The actress that played the part was so believieable in her portrail.

    The cast as a whole was terrfic. I have watched all 56 episodes, but 56 acted up at the end so I am not sure of the final resolution?? I also do not toally speak Korean, and am not to sure of the final ending. Tahoe growing would be rewarding, the sister finding happiness and marrying great, the brother/wife and new child starting a new confident chapter the best. Jung Im and Mr Choi walking off hand in hand and being a great couple. That could & should be the final touch to a good drama.

    Perhaps this is the bases for all productions. Not everyone will like some aspects of it, some will hate it and others think it great. At the time of the year this is airing though, trying times, tribulation, rebirth, growth, and warm fuzzies with the “correct!!” girl and boy walking off into the final shot. Now that is what you call a very satisfying ending!

  99. 99 : ShoutOut Says:

    @Midwest Mz. First, hello to you! Second, I can only speak for myself when I say this…its true that it’s only a television program, that’s a given! Many of us who have commented on this website for years and under this drama category from its beginning are emotionally mature, compared to some other categories where they bicker needlessly.

    On here, we can express our heartfelt views (likes and dislikes) openly without having to remind each other of that common knowledge, that its only acting. With that….

    Thanks for the drama update. Many of us have not gotten to the last episode, yet.

  100. 100 : ShoutOut Says:

    @suerainy. I sent you a Facebook ‘add as a friend’ message! I look forward to hearing from you!

    Have you gotten to the last episode of this drama, yet?

  101. 101 : Midwest Mz Says:

    @ShoutOut

    Thank you for the welcome. It is nice to find a mature, but young at heart site to kvetch on. With the end comes the momentairy blues, they will no longer visit with an unknown story to tell. But on to the next one, which ever that may be. Having seen the end, and not knowing what they are saying in total, I am a little up in the air on it. Did they get back together (??) or are we to make our own mental image of the end?

    Wonder what will catch next?? Will have to bookmarked this site, and will have to come every once in a while to catch up.

  102. 102 : ShoutOut Says:

    @Midwest Mz. Thank you…you’re also welcome! I don’t know if your chosen user name is synonymus with where you’re physically located or reside. But, if so…I’m also located in the midwest in the U.S.

    About the drama. I, personally, don’t care for ‘open-ended’ dramas as I call them. The ones where the writer is telling the viewing audience to draw their own conclusion. Well, when its left up to me to create an ending, which ever way I choose…it could go in a number of directions, given my imagination. I’d rather see the writer’s creativity from beginning to end, not my many versions! ~smile~ It’s more concrete when the writer provides us with a more concise ending, so we the viewers can chat about it. Plus, I’ve never had a passion for cliff-hangers!

    Please do bookmark and return here often! I’ll be around, especially in the forum titled City Hall! You can always find me there under the user name of USA-Mary! If you haven’t watched that one, you should! You will love it (and that’s not an exaggeration) like so many of us do. It’s mature, funny, romantic, intriguing, and at times crazy, with a little suspense added from time to time! Check it out! It’s currently in second place under the listed header, Most Commented Dramas which is on the right-hand side of this website page! Until…

    Have a Happy New Year!

  103. 103 : maria usa Says:

    @ USA MARY I agree with you and compliment to every one. I’ve always looking forward reading the comment about this drama,

  104. 104 : suerainy Says:

    @Midwest Mz…i know it’s just a drama…but sometimes, at least to me, it’s more than just a drama. You see, when I watch K-drama, especially the ones that I love to see, I get totally engrossed with it..but when it didnt turn out the way I expected it to be, I just said to myself, @#!!…why did I spend so much time and energy watching it, because in the end it only frustrated me…
    I suspected the writers and producers wanted to play it safe, after all this is a family drama, where we are supposed to uphold family values and sacred marriage vows, and everybody is supposed to live happily ever after. Just look at the title.. “All about Marriage”. I sort of expected that ahjumma will somehow find her way back, albeit slowly and painstakingly, to that gutless, chicken-hearted, no good husband of hers. But I was in denial everytime when I see Mr Choi and ahjumma together..Oh poor Mr. Choi…

    ShoutOut..I haven’t seen City Hall…FYI, Secret Garden is also penned by the same writer of City Hall. So, I’m definitely gonna check out City Hall…And yes, I’ve added you in my FB!

  105. 105 : Midwest Mz Says:

    @ShoutOut & @suerainy, thank you both for your kind words and thoughts. Name has to do with location, think rivers and arch either eye brows when considering, there I will be found.

    I also prefer a resolution to a story, and even when they may take you down the road in time, and you see what ‘life’ became after the closing of the story action. On a few occasions, an open ending allows my mind to take the story where I want it to go, as the powers that be do not seem to want to go in my direction. And all of them are just that, hopefully a pleasant diversion that takes us up and away for a time, while we enjoy the ride and view. It has also been very interesting to view the world from another perspective and different eyes.

    Started the “Secret Garden” yesterday, and have gotten through the first 2 episodes on line. I only have KBSAmerica, so anything not from them has to be hunted and viewed on this la machine. Will have to look for “City Hall” when I have time, or finish the available “Secret Garden” ones.

    I am very dinosoarish (word?) in some of my views, and the santity of the marriage is one. With that being said, when one party is just plainly a worm and has no throught or regards for the union and other party, it is time to cut him up as bait and just chum the waters with them. Redemption is rewarding, but didn’t this same person, playing a different charater, have to find redemption in the end of “Chuno”! Nice to see him in a variety of roles, but almost duplicate core values??? i.e., jerk-jerk-jerk-worm-worm-stinker-stinker, “I saw the light!!!” – new and improved-improved-takemebacktakemeback u chump. Ok, got my snide out there.

  106. 106 : ShoutOut Says:

    @Midwest Mz. I don’t know if you’re aware of this or not, but you should be able to get mysoju.com on the internet. That’s one of the best English subtitled websites on here that contains a very large variety of Asian dramas and movies. There are many more websites now, that provide English subtitles to dramas than there was 2 years ago. So, you no longer have to watch them in the ‘raw’ as its termed (without English subtitles).

    Actually, mysoju.com has a direct link to this website and you can find it on this page. All you have to do is go to the very top right-hand side of this page, scroll downward until you reach the Related Site header and under it will be mysoju.com. Click on it, and you’ll go directly into the site. You’ll find Secret Garden and City Hall with English subs. Once you enter…you’ll think that you were in Candyland! Enjoy!

    @maria usa. Thank you!

  107. 107 : ShoutOut Says:

    @suerainy and Midwest Mz.

    Ohhhh ladies…believe me! I had a few choice words for Tae Ho, myself. They are…weasel, skunk, slithering lizard, jackal, and disgusting side-winding snake! LOL! Him being used as chopped bait would even sicken the fish! They’d throw him back to shore frowning…while pointing to a sign with their fins that reads ‘PLEASE…Don’t Feed The Fish Hazardous Waste-We’ve Turned Vegan’…now that’s sanctity and sanity to me! hehehe

    Side note: My senses let me know about 1/2 way through this drama…how it would end! I refused to be disappointed…so, I would periodically peek in every once in a while (seeking a glimpse of hope), to see what was going on! In many ways, the writer’s portrayal of both Jung Im and Tae Ho’s emotional attachment to each other was far from being subtle. Neither one of them really detached from the other emotionally and physically. Even with all the craziness, it was apparent! That’s why I still haven’t seen the end and really don’t care to now! It would only ‘TICK’ me off! ~smile~

    @suerainy. Re FB! Thank you! I already left you a message! You’ve probably read it by the time you return to this forum. I really like Secret Garden, so far. It’s really funny! The fight scenes are really something. Hyun Bin is a lot thinner in this drama, compared to when I first saw him in Snow Queen. That was an excellent drama, but I refuse to watch it again! It made me cry waaaaaaay to much! hehehe Seriously, you’ll need 2 boxes of Kleenex on hand! I’m definitely not a glutton for punishment!

  108. 108 : suerainy Says:

    @Midwest and ShoutOut…You can also watch at dramacrazy.net and dramastyle.com, apart from mysoju.com. However, among these three, dramacrazy.net is the fastest to upload, usually 4-5 hours after it is showed in Korea, that is if you dont mind watching it raw. It will normally take 3-4 days for the drama to be subbed. There is also tudou.com, but it is raw too.
    I saw the first part of City Hall yesterday, and I must say, I fell in love instantly with the story. Thank you ShoutOut for mentioning it. And the lead actor, boy is he good looking (swoon!!!) I remembered him way back when he was younger and starred in a drama entitled Bodyguard or something (couldnt remember the exact title). I only watched it partly. But in City Hall, he is omo omo, a totally different person and outlook. I cant exactly describe his face, cant put it in words…for now, let’s just stick to dangerously and deliciously sexy..(double swoon!!!)

  109. 109 : Midwest Mz Says:

    @ShoutOut

    I have no trouble looking and finding sites that support Kdramas, either in english subs or raw. When I need to get my daily, or other wise, kfix, I have the patience of a dead goat in searching and finding the required sites. The sad part is that, sometimes the program I want to see is not out there to be viewed, or you can only find it in raw. Some times when you find the english subs, they are so far behind what is actually being showen on the tube, that it is a waste of time.

    Here are the ones I am/have used:

    http://dramasweet.com/drama-movie-episode.pl?i=356
    http://www.dramastyle.com/drama

  110. 110 : USA-Mary Says:

    @suerainy and Midwest Mz. Re dramacrazy.net. That’s one of my favorite sites, but for some reason, I haven’t been able to access the website at all, since I watched Dong Yi. Dramastyle.com at one time, let me watch dramas in the process of being filmed (raw version), which is a recent addition for them (prior to that, they only showed dramas and movies that have already ended). But, now…its up to a certain episode, then they won’t let me access it anymore! I don’t know what’s going on with that. Its like the ‘server patrol’ has been sent out or something! I’ve had some strange experiences with some of these drama websites, when trying to access good family-oriented Asian dramas!

  111. 111 : ShoutOut aka USA-Mary Says:

    @Midwest Mz. I’m familiar with most of the websites you posted. Dramajoy and dramastyle are interconnected…so the same applies to me when it comes to watching currently-aired dramas.

    @suerainy. Seeeee! What did I tell you about City Hall! Girl…you haven’t seen anything, yet! That’s just the beginning! It gets better and funnier as it goes on (you’ll see why I watched it so many times). CSW, who’s also acting in Athena right now…was the one in The Bodyguard (I watched that one, too). He had more weight on him, then. In City Hall, he’s thinner and even more HANDSOME…WHEW!!!!! Not that he didn’t look good in The Bodyguard (believe me HE DID)! Girl…I’ll post the City Hall (not shown) love scene between him (Jo Gook) and Kim Sun Ah (Mi Rae) so you can see the part that was cut (fan me now)! He’s even hilarious at the end after they finished taping the love scene. You wouldn’t imagine him being funny, because he plays a serious ‘straight man’ in City Hall. Just wait until you see it…he’s hilarious!

    I promise you this…you will not be able to stop talking about this drama or stop watching it. It’s perfection through and through…and that’s no lie! It’s #2 on Most Commented Dramas! Though right now some people get into having a race to pass another drama under that header…quality just can’t be challenged, not even childishly…that’s my personal opinion!

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~HAPPY NEW YEAR~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’m asking so that we can have a good, chat about what we’re watching! I enjoyed comparing drama thoughts with you ladies. Let me know ladies!
    Midwest Mz, I didn’t for get you. Check out City Hall…I promise you’ll be glad that you did!
    Anyone know the name of the song at the end of episode 55? Download link?
  114. 114 : Midwest Mz Says:
    @ShoutOut
    I have completed the available episodes of “Secret Garden” (14) on MySoju.com. I have tired loading “City Hall” from this site, but a big dud! Remembering I have the patience of a dead goat, even he gave up after waiting so long. It would bring up the information on it and the 20 episodes, but when clicked to load for watching, big goose egg. So I and the goat gave up till a later date. It sounds interesting.
    What’s next? Not too sure at this time, I also watch more than one at a time. Just depends on mood and so forth. Saw the ‘blurp’ for the one about a rich family that looses it all, and has to move in with the former chauffer. That one sounded interesting.
    Oh, and “Secret Garden” is just so delicious!! Waiting and hoping for mummzie to rupture something. Some of the matriarchs in these Kdramas seem to be a little bit of the southern female. This chica is just down right uck! Ahhhh, but as with every thing, there must be one character that you would love to see their jello punched out.
    Forgot, welcome to the New Year.
  115. 115 : ShoutOut Says:
    @Midwest Mz. You’re so funny! Jello punch! How about adding a topping of Cool Whip to settle that iggle (the Cool Whip knocked out the w) down! ~smile~ I agree about the uck! There’s always one or two…sometimes mild, but most of the time fierce!
    Ahhhh…regarding mysoju. City Hall is on other websites, just can’t recall which ones at the moment. I’ll return to Secret Garden soon. I must see this matriarch for myself!
    Thank you, same to you…Happy New Year!
  116. 116 : suerainy Says:
    Happy New Year…may this new year brings loads and loads of wonderful as well as entertaining K-dramas…
    It’s official! As of last weekend, I am no longer watching this drama. I left Mr. Choi for good. Although it was really a heartbreaking and sorrowful separation, I had to do it to keep my sanity intact. If I continued watching, I’ll be depressed. I will turn into a psychopath and later a resurrected Jason who will chainsaw and rip the tv set the minute I saw Taeho and Jeongim back together…But lo and behold, I have now found my new man…Mr Super Uber sexy, hot, hubba hubba…Joo Guk of City Hall. He is now my official namja…
    @Shoutout, Midwest…any other dramas that you recommend that is worthwhile to watch?
  117. 117 : Midwest Mz Says:
    @ShoutOut & @suerainy
    I have tried several sites, and several times to get “City Hall” to work, and it still is a no go. I did get it to work on one site, do not remember which, but the quality of the video really stunk! I have tried it through two ISP, still both were bad. 1-1/6 on the initial site was really bad. 1-2/6 on this other site as just a tiny bit better, but neither one really peaked my interest in the production? To try later??
    Moving on . . . .
    Looking through various kdramas story line write ups, and again, had a reall tuff time trying to get them to load. Finally got the one of “101s Proposal” to act like it had some sense, and have watched the first 2 episodes. It is touted as a ‘beauty & beast’ type story. He is a schnook who is really trying hard, she is a beauty who is nice, and about their trials and tribulations. So far so good. If you have not seen it, it loaded nicely from MySoju.com. Try it out and let me know your thoughts.
    @suerainy. I have loads of kdramas that I have watched. Here’s another one that I recommend with a very, very good ending…’That Fool’ is the title! It’s really, really good, too and hilarious! I watched it after City Hall and was just as besides myself when watching it as I was with City Hall!
    Here is a list of some my favorite dramas that are all worth watching again and again! All of the following were excellent to me! I’ve watched all of them more than once with the exception of Lovers, Personal Taste, and The Snow Queen. I’ll share some more with you that I’ve watched soon!
    -Lovers
    -Wedding
    -Goong
    -Full House
    -The Last Scandal
    -Personal Taste
    -Coffee Prince
    -Boys Before Flowers (almost wore this one out to non-repair)
    Last, but no least a very, very good one that I seriously refuse to watch ever again! Left me too emotional…which is a first for me! hehehe But, exceptionally excellent, non-the-less!
    -The Snow Queen (make sure you have 2 boxes of kleenex on hand-no make that 3 boxes)!
  121. 121 : ShoutOut Says:
    @Midwest Mz. I’ll check it out and let you know. Come to think about it…I believe I started that one about 1 1/2 years ago and didn’t finish it for some reason. Hmmmm…maybe I’ll give it a go!
    @suerainy. You’re too funny and I empathize with you! I couldn’t continue to watch ‘Please Marry Me’ any further either and I really wanted to. I just don’t like becoming irritated and too many of the scenes began to press that point!
    One thing I thought about is that her husband will do this again. When the babies start coming and she’s not as shapely anymore, and he’s not her primary focus anymore. He’ll soon return to being the fluttery flake that he is…infatuated with infatuation again. That’s my fictional take on this fiction! In addition to that, there are some endings that are predictable…like this one, no matter how we hope it will be different. I read a synopsis on another website that stated “4 married couples living under the same roof” …well, that kind of told me how it was going to end! But, after seeing her love interest, I had hoped she would drop that wishy-washy fool of a husband and go with him. HUH! I’ll TAKE HIM!!!! Mr. ‘SUPER FINE’ Choi that is! LOL! He even looks like he has a six-pack! hehehehe I have to add some humor somewhere after watching this drama!
    @ShoutOut
    Well hello, hello toots! Was a wondering where you had gone to.
    Will finish out this one on the t.v. set, “Please Marry Me”. As I said before, redemption is nice, but stupid ain’t.
    Moving on . . . .
    Have gotten through the first few episodes of “City Hall.” Finally got something to load, and the characters are starting to flesh out and be more interesting. Will reserve final thoughts about the female lead, hope she is not another semi air head.
    “101st Proposal” is a must if no one has. It, like many, starts out with you thinking the thought of here we go again. Hang in there, the male lead improves greately, and you are cheering him one. The female vacillates quite a bit in the beginning, but settles down, then wabbles a little. I have not finished this, but am close to the end. So . . . . .
    Will finish “City Hall’ after this one, then maybe look at your list of possibles.
  123. 123 : Midwest Ms Says:
    Correction:
    “101st Proposal” is a must see, if no one has.
  124. 124 : Midwest Ms Says:
    Correction: (#2)
    Hang in there, the male lead improves greately, and you are cheering him on.
    got to learn to read!!
  125. 125 : Midwest Ms Says:
    Ok, have finished “101st Proposal” and enjoyed it ever so much!
    Spolier alert though, episode 14 for some reason is ‘directed/routed’ through a site called Mega/somethingorother and try as I might to watch 14, I could not. Every site I went to had it through this one, and Megawhatever tells you to “join for free” and watch all the movies/dramas you want for free. (forgive the shouting . . . .) BBBUUUTTT, one of the sign in information slots is for a charge card, huh? Free?? Huhhhhhh??? They advise you you will not be charged, then why the need for the info?? Was not born yesterday, truly it was a week ago! Did not sign up, and blocked them from my address.
    You can get the jest of what went down in the episode, and it does not hinder your enjoyment of the final and total production. Watch and enjoy it as I have.
  126. 126 : ShoutOut Says:
    @Midwest Mz. Re City Hall and the female lead, Mi Rae. Believe me when I say this…I don’t rave over airheaded women…PERIOD! LOL! So, continue to watch her in City Hall and you’ll see what I mean. If anything, she is generous, has a soft heart for all people, and like most of us women when it comes to being in a love relationship that didn’t pan out, will learn and recover after being stung by an uncommitted man! Ohhhhh, you just wait and see what I mean by that! LOL! This woman has backbone and enough to share with many others! hehehe
    After looking at the ‘101st Proposal’ synopsis on the mysoju website, its not one that I started to look at then stopped. I will definitely give it a go!
    Now, spoiler alerts never bother me when its something I really want to see. Especially, when the intolerable person(s) chooses to become tolerable, viable, and awakens to loves truth in a relationship. That type of character, I must admit…is the one I’ll have patience to watch!
  127. 127 : ShoutOut Says:
    @Suerainy and Midwest Mz. Hyun Bin’s character is ‘HILAROUS’ in Secret Garden! I finally returned to watching it and I can’t stop laughing! “Have you ever dated anyone that paid monthly rent?” He’s too funny when he said that his imagination of her keeps following him around and is now talking to him!!! LOL! This is soooooo good! He’s so cute…but still needs to re-gain about 10 more lbs.! Then…VOILE…MAGNIFIQUE!
  128. 128 : anti kimtaeho Says:
    to producer,scripwriter,director,
    i dont want jongim with kim taeho. if you make jongim with taeho in next episodes till the end,
    i will boycoot the drama
    stupid taeho
    this drama should be about jongim and her singing career
  129. 129 : Nina Says:
    I’m afraid JungIm is going back to her pathetic, bully (ex) husband, Taeho !
    I cannot stand looking at him ! He put down JungIm for so long, telling her that she suffocated him, that she annoyed him, and NOW he wants her back ?
    Did she forget all he said and did to her ? Why does she care so much
    for him, his “status” ?
    Yes, is going to be an ugly ending for this drama, if they get together again !
  130. 130 : suerainy Says:
    @anti kimtaeho…(oh what a name! i like it very much…here are 1000x salutes and claps for you, which gives me an idea of probably changing my nickname to “die kimtaeho” later…he he) and @Nina…I’m afraid jungim will be with taeho, whether we like it or not. If you think she’ll end up with Mr. Choi, quickly let these thoughts flush in the drain or in the toilet…coz it aint gonna happen…That’s why I stop watching it…So please, if you’re going to boycott the show, please do it now, or else you’ll get the psychopath syndrome of either burning your tv set or the KBS building for that matter…
    Now moving along to some happy thoughts…@ShoutOut, now why did I tell you earlier, girl..you’ll get hooked watching Secret Garden! It’s just so damn fine. I like the lead actors so much, they have great chemistry together.
    Thanks for your list of K-dramas, I’ve watched most of it like Goong, Coffee Prince and Boys Over Flowers. I must say though, I felt really weird watching BOF at first, I thought it was meant for silly teenage girls. But I had a huge (I mean huge crush) on Lee Min Ho (he’s so cute, swoon!!) so I watched it anyway.
  131. 131 : ShoutOut Says:
    @suerainy. You’re too funny, die kimtaeho! LOL! I was thinking more along the lines of launching into space with a minimum amount of fuel! LOL! He’s such a horrid skunk!
    I, too, skipped over BOF more than once before deciding to watch it. But, I’m soooooo glad that I did! I don’t have a crush on Lee Min Ho, but giiiiiiiirl…he’s so CUTE TO ME! Humph, maybe that is sort of a crush! Being a grown woman, I don’t really look at it in that way; it’s not like I swoon over his photo or anything! Just when I see him…he’s so handsome to me! Hmmmm…maybe I have a little crush! LOL!
    Oh…I must not forget Mr. Choi in this drama! PLEASE…he is FINE, even if he is a Sagittarius! LOL!
  132. 132 : ShoutOut Says:
    @suerainy. About Secret Garden! BRAVO!!!!!
  133. 133 : Midwest Mz Says:
    To every and all . . . .
    Have completed “Secret Garden” an a contented smile remains on my face. Dragon Ma Ma finished as she started, uck! Couple won! Yeah!! Others had their day in the Sun! Yeah!! Hopefully a nice time was had by all, and those that in the future time will watch and enjoy as much as I have. End was a little convoluted, but tucked in nicely, if a little mystifying. Noted they gave a subtle shout out to the new 3D pic that will be out a little into this year. Anyone else catch it???
    Heavy sigh, back to the real world . . . . dirty dishes calling my name………….
  134. 134 : ShoutOut Says:
    @Midwest Mz. You are too funny! No, I didn’t catch that about the 3D picture! Actually, for me, the subbing in the last episode was kind of fuzzy. I’ll do a rewatch of it!
    Are you still watching City Hall? If so, I’ll meet you in that forum. If not there, where will you go next?
  135. 135 : melanie Says:
    I stopped watching tis drama anymore,because i don’t like watching jeongim still crazy and caring for Taeho.it’s always the same story every episode like she is still longing for her ex! This doesn’t help with the ex-wives who are still in pain with thier divorce…..I wish Mr.Choi and jongim will bePartner in the end but i’m assuming the writer of this story is not narrowminded about divorce. Divorce is acceptable all over the world!!!! there’s no more martyr wives existing in this Planet!!!!! wake Up miss Writer!!!!!
  136. 136 : melanie Says:
    I REALLY DON”T CARE IF THIS IS No. 1 in the RATING!!!!!! BORING!!!!!
  137. 137 : Nina of California Says:
    I’m tired of seeing JungIm with that sad face, show after show !
    When is she going to decide to be a singer, and stop worrying about the stupid Taeho ? She needs to grow a spine !
    I hate him with a passion ! That face of discontent is sickening to look ! He is very ugly, inside and out !
    If JungIm thinks he is going change, she’ll be very disappointed. Men don’t change, they get worse, mean and nasty ….that is what she will get, if she goes back to him !
  138. 138 : KDaddict Says:
    I hate this show, I hate Kimtaeho, and most of all I hate Nam Jung Im ! Be a real singer and marry Mr. Right or go back to ex-husband who is arrogant, insulting and ugly? That should be a no-brainer! Instead the writer drags it out show after stupid show, like she is facing a real dilemma. I can’t stomach it anymore n stopped watching at episode 40. This is an encouragement for women to remain weak and be their husbands’ doormats. I thought KDs have evolved beyond this stage. Too bad!
  139. 139 : KDaddict Says:
    Why does this show have such hi ratings in Korea??????
  140. 140 : Nina of California Says:
    I still have some hope that JungIm doesn’t go back to Taeho.
    I would like Mr. Choi to tell her he loves her, he likes her, for sure !
    I can understand she visiting her ex- mother-in-law…and wish her a speedy recovery…but that would be it.
    If JungIm goes back to that miserable, ugly Taeho, she is a really dumb woman!
  141. 141 : USA-Mary Says:
    Some of the viewers on here did better than me. I couldn’t make it pass episode 35! This drama, in my opinion started with a ‘thumbs-up’ performance, but ended on a same usual, I can see it coming expected outcome (yawn)! Which is a shame because I had high expectations that it would turn around by either the foolish husband coming to his senses quickly by repentedly ‘snapping-out-of-it’ and return to his wife or Jung Im would move on completely with a new career she’s passionate about and ask Mr. Choi to give her some time to collect her emotions before she accepts his feelings for her! I really didn’t need 56 episodes to tell me that she was going to return to her husband. That could have been done in 1 episode! At the most episode 2!!!
    I don’t believe people should be in and/or remain in abusive relationships, period! Nothing but Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde syndrome!
  142. 142 : WOW Says:
    AFTER READING ALL COMMENTS. STOP RIGHT HERE I TRUSTED YOU GUYS.
  143. 143 : USA-Mary Says:
    Here’s a plug for another drama that I’m watching that’s really AWESOME! It has a very similar plot to Please Marry Me…but is totally different in many respects! The name is The Fierce Wife, a Taiwanese drama! The writer takes this drama seriously to another level! The lead actress, who is phenominal, restored my confidence in watching another drama such as this one! I can hardly wait for the next episodes. Her portrayal of a woman who has been cheated on by their husband’s is a tremendous story of strength, growth, enlightenment, and recovery! I can’t help but RAVE about it!
  151. 151 : Snow Says:
    The lead female in this drama made me sick with her stupid devotion to a demeaning man who treated her badly and only stayed with her to save his budding career. Then later when she started to bloom a little, he wanted her back and wanted to keep his little girlfriend on the side. She was just stupidly dense to me. By episode 47, I had my fill of her and her blind devotion to a man she was divorced from, but didn’t want to tell people he had divorced her to save his career and lose hers—-give me a break!!!!!!
  152. 152 : Snow Says:
    One last thing. What bothered me the most, he didn’t want to get a divorce to lose his career, but nor was he willing to give up his “friendship” with the woman he confessed to his wife that he loved. This drama was just beyond frustrating for me. However, not as frustrating or bad as Temptation or Valid Love. I hated both of those dramas. I can at least say I like this better than those.
  153. 153 : Snow Says:
    No this is the last thing. I could understand if her husband had some wonderful qualities, he had none. He was selfish and it was all about him. The fact that the wife still had feelings for this man after the way he treated her was so disappointing. I would have taken the record producer any day, any time, any country, any planet. She just came across as stupid to me.
    I was a good watch, but very frustrating at times.
