Can you please confirm if My Liberation Diary is coming to Netflix? We are very excited to see another Lee Min-Ki tv series on Netflix.

  2. 2 : Çiğdem Says:

The plot is interesting, I may watch it. And I like the poster.

Hahaha .. you are so funny. You might watch cuz you like the poster? Hahaha !! First time I’ve come across such a way to choose a drama. Hahaha ! I guess you should be laughing at me instead huh? Ok, go on laugh as much as you want.

Btw, you guessed right, I’ve hit a drama slump. Got only one drama to keep me going. This bad, eh?

Have a positive, happy and fab week ahead !

    @hotpie

Oh little girl (or boy) sometimes the poster can tell you whole story. İts not about only name of cast or their faces, actually the poster contains whole story.

    Example;

clue 1; Story is about three siblings and you can see only one of them looking at the stranger.

clue 2; the three siblings are on the train but the stranger is outside and he is walking without noticing them.

Clue 3; the two siblings look very unhappy and confused.

I looked the poster and it took five min to see all this.

I’m sure it will make sense when we watch the drama.

my first language is not english sorry for spelling mistakes

A little girl wish to thank you for the lesson in how to appraise k-drama posters. Wished I had majored in fine arts in school.

Anyway, I enjoyed reading how you patiently explained the story of the poster in question to me. Thanks.

I am different. I tend to rely on the synopsis to get a gist of the story to decide what to watch. Obviously we are different people, we do things differently, big bro. Anyway, nothing been lost.

I am sorry, for laughing at you. And in the same breath, I had honestly explained why. And justifiably returned the favor. You dont take jokes or life lightly do you? Smile a little !! 😁😁

Btw, there is no need to be excellent in the English language to communicate. Its not my first language either.

Have a fab week ahead of you. Smile !! 😁🤗

I still haven’t watched the show. I don’t have time right now. Sometimes I just check the series from here.

Writing doesn’t tires me at all. I can write pages for something simple 🙂 I’m postgraduateand and I am writing various articles, writing a thesis, but I am also trying to be a screenwriter.

So, I’m a boring person who pays attention to details, and you’re right, I’m serious person )) but this conversation made me smile. Thank you.

I wish you a good week, if you want a poster comment, I’m here 😉

I doubt I will get to watch this particular piece. Its a JTBC project. And JTBC is not one of the anchor SK b/cast stations here, so its pieces are only screened when picked by the parent b/cast station.

However, I am positive that it will be screened later. This is fine by me. I am in no hurry.

Honestly, I have a little mixgivings about this drama’s story. Sounds a bit morose. Its one feeling that I try to avoid, cuz I had seen and felt too much during some volunteer work I was involved in when overseas.

Wow .. you into scriptwriting !! Thats an ambitious undertaking. Good on you…
Hahaha … this reminds me of my pre-teen (7 – 8 yrs old). I would write stories too … and every story would start with “Once upon a time ” … hahaha !! The rest is history … how far could a “Once upon a time” story or its writer go ?? Hahaha !! Wish you all the best !! (Btw was NWABK your work? It has a familiar flavour.)

Time to sign off now. Bye !! 🙂

  9. 9 : Rach Says:

It’s an interesting drama. While the main characters are bored and miserable, it is obvious they crave to love and be loved without really knowing the problem and how to fix it.

What stood out for me is the apparent absence of malice, makes the characters very likeable.

Ki Jung (Lee El) talks hypothetically about catching the severed head of her beloved during a date—it was funny. Her macabre humour reminded me of the character Lee El played in ‘Goblin’, the old woman selling produce to passersby on a bridge.

  10. 10 : dramachuma Says:

it’s a drama with high standard, with very good director and actors.

  11. 11 : achuma Says:

Ah! A very good script writer too!

  12. 12 : Linkie Says:

To me, it is a Black comedy, serious, until one of them makes a remark without a trace of a smile, especially the M/L, they are all excellent, seasoned actors. Well worth a watch

  13. 13 : Peejay Says:

I like the drama. The storyline was a bit slow at the start but I kept watching because I know Son Suk Koo is so charismatic and a good actor. Suddenly at Epi 6, I’m hooked and can’t wait for the next episodes. Hope more people will watch it. But I hope it has good ending.

  14. 14 : Quantum Nurse Says:

@Peejay, I concur with you, the drama is slow but interesting. I like the drama series with mature good actors/actresses, they perform well. I hope the story has a happy ending.

  15. 15 : Stranger Says:

casts absolutely great..storyline a bit slow but i like it..the story unfolded in its own pace..i read in an article its the same director with drama my mister…can feel the same vibe..cant wait for my weekend now..

  16. 16 : Rannie Says:

This is a classic. Excellent script, actors n actresses. I particularly like the “mood” hanging in the air.

  17. 17 : Gojila Says:

for some reason, I couldn’t stop go back and rewatch it again. over and over. while waiting for the 13 and 14 release.

  18. 18 : Icha Says:

    This drama deserves a Baeksang!

  19. 19 : Frankie Says:

Both characters Yeom Chang Hee & his older sister Ki Jung are so boring. All they ever do is drink and whine. Their satire is not funny either. I’m watching because I’m curious about Mr Gu and Mi Jung and whether both of them will continue their worshipping.

  20. 20 : hotpie Says:

That’s what I dread I will get to watch such dreadful scenes … drink and whine … and all talk, no action … waiting for magic to happen … and meanwhile the world and time pass them by.

I dont think I am missing much not watching this drama. Very likely, I will scratch it out of my “to watch” list.

  21. 21 : Quantum Nurse Says:

I recommend “My Liberation Note”. I like the drama series because the characters are not teenagers but in their late thirties or early forties. Also it is about a family with 3 adult children that still live with their parents, it is so relevant in the current circumstance where some working adult children still live with their parents. It has a happy ending however the conclusion of the story is left for the audience to ponder.

  22. 22 : annmasae Says:

I agree with those who enjoyed this drama. Great script and wonderful acting. The screen writer also wrote My Mister which was also good.. The ending was open ended but I’m ok with that.
The feelings and emotions of the characters reflected the worries of ordinary people. Highly recommended for those who are tired of the normal kdrama plots..

  23. 23 : Lclarakl Says:

This drama has ALL my favorite actors and actresses, HOWEVER, it’s the most boring drama I’ve ever seen. It’s so lifeless. Makes you ask why do these people go on living. I’m so disappointed.

  24. 24 : Maria Giovanopoulou Says:

a little slow but very good

  25. 25 : Nova Says:

Hahaha … I am bursting to tell about this …

Yesterday, on variety show, Backpacker Chef .. Actor Ahn Boyun (Military Prosecuter Do Bae Man) who is one of the cast members, mentioned that he had watched My Liberation Diaries, really (?) and also, that he is ready to get married now. Hahaha … Actor Ahn Bo Yun you are a real person! Oh goshhh ! You are an honest man. You do not belong to the half-god, half-man realm of fantasy. Finally, we have one real man here. Fighting !! 🥀

Its strange that its at times like this, that we realised actors too are human. That they do spend time watching tv dramas and movies like real people. Hahaha … 😁

BTW Actor Ahn Bo Yun … you are good in Backpack Chef. You have lots of common sense and are COOL during hectic times in the kitchen. Fighting !!

  26. 26 : Nova Says:

Oh yeah …. what more can I say ? Re my remarks about the “half-god, half-man realm of fantasy” (re #25 above) … I did mean what I said. Mature minds will understand its meaning.

When #25 was posted, I was prepared for unsavory reactions from the shallow minds. And sure thing it did. Its OK. I was expecting it to happen. Hehehe !! 😊

What was more important to me – that I was being honest and truthful. I do not want to be a hipocrite. BTW beg, borrow or grovel are not my thing either. I prefer to be true to myself. Comprende ?

Oh goshhh ! What a bully!

To happy people, have a ridiculously wonderful week ahead of you. And you too Actor Ahn BoYun. 😁

    P/s Take care ! 🌻
