Synopsis
This is a comedy drama about a a rock band name “Excellent Souls” which return to farming land after doing experiment in music. The band members consists of Lee Min Ki (Lee Hong Ki), Kang Hyuk (Park Min Woo), Yoo Han Chul (Lee Shi Un) and Han Ki Joon (Kwak Dong Yun).

from being musical jumping into farming? singing in the farm would probably improve the harvest. let’s see how this plays, i’ve watched three of the lead actors in the past, so would want to see them again.

Wow 3 musical drama in a row this season. She’s So Lovable, Tomorrow Cantabile and Modern Farmer. Not sure which one has the best story and acting. I might watch this one later after I finished She’s So Lovable and Tomorrow Cantabile.

I cried and cried on the drama “endless love” by Hwang Jung Eum and Jung Kyung Ho, now on episode 35.. and I laugh and laugh on modern farmer… I think it’s my habit now watching these 2 drama every monday and tuesday after work. LOL go modern farmer fighting!!!

In my opinion this drama is much more meaningful, full of humanity and profounder than Heirs no matter how high ratings and successful Heirs was, even in aspect of acting the MF cast is more above Heir’s.
I choose Heirs as counterexample because I believe that its “great success” was so artificial and without any basis as good story or outstanding performances.
I really enjoy this drama and I like all the characters.

its getting exciting.. feel down? just watch Modern Farmer you never regret this.Want to escape from stereotype and cliche genre like other korean drama just watch this drama.if you are Honggi ftisland biased and want to see your bias with all kinds of expression and his voice, this the perfect drama you have waiting for….
So far all the episodes never disappointing me.Chinca!! shinsimuru!! The best and awesome korean drama so far!!!!!

I love this drama, it’s so funny, make me laugh every episodes. Though among Korean they may not like this kind of gag (from the low rating
) Its gag really gets me into this drama.

i like this series, simple stuff are delivered in a simple, funny, and direct manner with no pretenses. since I have no expectations as to the plot, etc., i take what is being presented and enjoy immensely. If the ratings are low, so be it. i look forward to the following episodes each week.

happy ending. life is simple, make mistakes, and learn but the adventure in farming did not seem to affect/teach the 4 clueless guys so they venture in fishing as the ending scenes suggest.

I never thought i have become a fan of Lee hongki after watching this drama. He’s super funny, cute, and adorable.He acts like “he knows it all” but the way he acts is super lovable! I love the confession between him and the lead female. No words have been said. It’s so touching!
