Some of you guys say that you watch this drama just for fun but as time passes and episodes go on you will believe that Islam is like how this drama shows .Everyday many people are killed to protect this religion but this drama distort Islam very easily .we should respect for every religion as we consider ourselves civilized .

@niki “Everyday many people are killed to protect this religion . . .”

Am I to understand what you’re saying is “to protect this religion”, people are killed? Are you talking about those punished for apostasy and blasphemy in your theocratic society?

My thoughts on that; Islamic culture exists under a theocracy which is authoritarian. It doesn’t allow the individual freedom of expression or freedom of conscience and equality under the law irrespective of gender, creed and ethnicity. And so to keep the whole thing together, dissenters are killed under the pretext of blasphemy and apostasy.

    You know I’m right.

All the above and especially “free speech” exposes and liberates a society of bad ideas thereby avoiding violent revolution. Plenty of evidence to support that claim. Look at Venezuela.

You say “this drama distort Islam”. I don’t know about that. It might distort the idea of Islamic culture, but people are intelligent enough to know that they should take their information about a place and people from authoritative sources rather than entertainment media.

And Islam is the Quran, Sira and Hadith, not the people. The drama may have distorted the culture (albeit comical and fictional), but it definitely DID NOT distort the Quran, Sira or Hadith.

How long will the civilized world be held hostage to a group of people who kill those who disagree with them? How long? I want English subtitles. The rest of us just roll our eyes and move on at the stereotypes. Some could be considered offensive if one has nothing else to do but get offended.
Do you Muslims who seem to view the Koreans as your pets really, truly believe that Secret Garden is based on real life?
