i have always enjoyed these kbs drama specials, so hoping to watch them very soon, english subbed!

i looked at kbs world schedule for sept. 25 and i don’t see the kbs special to be shown that day. well, have to wait for it then.

@Ann: thanks for the info. i can only access kbs world where i am, so i guess the first showing as scheduled is in s.k. language, and i need to wait when it will be aired at kbs world, english subbed.

just watched ‘the red teacher’ at you tube with english subs. the curiousity by the students and the young teacher about the 3 letter word and four letter word ensued into events that forced the teacher to be the fall back to save a student. the student learned of the sacrifice and became thankful.
hopefully the other specials, english subbed, will come along.

‘home sweet home’ (my happy home at you tube): interesting concept of how a couple met and how they ended up. happy cyborgs!

‘the legendary shuttle’ (the legendary lackey at you tube): i think the title should be ‘the great pretender’. it’s about school bullying, how a boy subject to bullying in a different school went through the pretense of being a hot shot bully after he transferred to another school. it’s funny and a nice watch. the negative thing i see in this drama is the school teacher hitting the head of a boy sitting near the door of the school room.

‘one summer dream’ (summer dream at you tube): people needing to be loved found love unknown to them.

‘twenty thousand won to pyongyang’ (twenty dollars to pyongyang at you tube): it is sad that a man had to quit being a seminarian of a reason not his fault. his life after that was crap, and someone told him that a bent nail was for good luck. it’s weird for him to understand it, when his life was undesirable. probably after reading the letter from his late father and with the drawing of a bent nail as ‘good luck’ might change things for him.

‘world without sympathy’ (explicit innocence at you tube): can’t understand why totally different titles, i was comparing the s.k. alphabet to make a match. anyway, it’s a coming of age story of a young guy, his focus was how to get into the three letter word, but really it was more of he did not know what to do with his life after high school. conferring with adults gives guidance.

‘national house woman’ (noodle house girl at you tube): there’s a synopsis for this story at you tube. i feel bad for the guy, looked like he lacked confidence in himself that brought more issues than marital. hopefully the incident would turn around things for him. it’s a good watch. the cinematography was very good.

‘disqualified laughter’: the humorless guy was trying so hard to learn to be funny, but his life was temporarily ruined. don’t know if being humorless is a psychological problem. the ending was happy as he won the girl and life had a turn around. but it was not a good watch.

‘pinocchio’s nose’ (at you tube): it’s a good watch! what it’s saying is one cannot find out the real truth if there is a pre-conceived idea or suspicion to the contrary, so leave the conclusion last when it is proven.
