Ahaha Lee Young Ae always declines ahaha as if she’s still the hottest star now. Not anymore. Saimdang was a flop. She didnt have a clue that the audience now is a new generation and her “Dae Jang Geum” is soo 2003.

The most anticipated drama this year. The story seems promising. And there’s Lee Yo Won as the main cast. Fantastic. Love her.

If Young Ae had taken the role, she and her adopted father—both about the same age—would look silly. I’m glad she had the common sense not to get involved.
The power struggle within the judicial and military branches of the Japanese government is fascinating. Actual cloak and dagger (literally) within the ranks is the type of corruption that signal the end of an empire.

I like that they show the names of the fallen. And I commend the SK government for funding dramas like this so their people are reminded of their history and those that had fought and died to preserve the freedom they now enjoy as a sovereign nation.
However the fight is never really over, there are those that plot to take your freedoms and your country. A US president once said; “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”
Great drama.

This is a great cast. It started strong and caught my attention from the beginning. Lee Yo Won is exceptional . I loved her acting in Queen Seonduk and 49, Male leads are make the screen sizzle. Definitely enjoy watching it.

Hiroshi has Dr. Ishida over a barrel with the poison facts in the bottle with the information he has on his brother and mother. Hiroshi is a evil creep. I hope Ishida does not get caught with the bottle or lying to Matsurra.
Happy to see Yoon Jong-Hwa (Ishida) back to acting. He had spinal cancer when he was in Eve’s Love and had to withdraw from the drama. Happy to see him again.
