Synopsis
Choi Jung Soo (Shin Don Wook) was left in an orphnage by his father who could no longer take care of him after his wife left him for another man. He had a bright future in medicine but could ill afford the tuition fee. In despair, he took off to the remote island where his father grew up in the hope that he would find him there. He ended up spending 7 years there working under the guidance of the island’s only doctor and became very good at it. But when he saved Yoon Jung Won (Han Ji Hye) who suffered from an acute appendicitis, he became mistaken as a skillful doctor and his life became complicated. YJW was the daughter of the owner of an elite hospital in Seoul and the two began to develope feelings for each other even though she was engaged to be married. He couldn’t help falling in love with YJW and began to lie to himself and others about his medical credentials. The higher he rose, the harder he fell. The love that he thought would give him everything turned into poison. He lost his world … except the love of his woman who stood by him no matter what.

i fink dis one of the best drama from Han Ji Hye who previously drama was ‘sweet 18’. In this drama audience can observe Ji Hye perfection acting and the ability to attract more audiences in the future as well. ALso the leading man Shin Dong Wook is such a cutie, fit his role.

k-series. I guess the storyline is great and I’ve been reading feedbacks that HJH is indeed very good here.

Just finished watching this series and still can’t get enough of it so I have to rewatch it again and again. HJH is very good here and very pretty. The storyline is quite at a serious side, but what makes it very interesting is the romance behind. HJH and SDW look so good together. There were times that I could not get their dialogues because I was so engrossed watching their beautiful facial features. It is seldom that I get to watch both leading performers with good looks. I think the other one, was My Girl.

i love this story when i started to read this story and im one of the avid fan of han ji hye in ”sweet 18”. im still waiting this to show in the philippines. i think the viewers in the philippines will surely love and enjoy watching this korean drama…

i juz finished watching and this and i gotta say that this is a must watch!!! this is probably one of the most underrated kdrama there is…i’ve read somewhere that it did not rate so well in korea..i wondered why…the chemistry and rapport between HJH and SDW is undeniably awesome…the acting was superb and the storyline was unique and i must say that the ending has got to be one of the best i’ve ever seen…DON’T MISS THIS! plus SDW is such a hottie!

This is a very good lovestory and i love it so much because it has a happy ending. I highly recommend it to those who love korean drama. Please dont miss this one.

i love this drama & it’s one of my favorites! Shin Dong Wook is so great in this drama that if he didn’t win the best actor award that’s not fair! he was so good in his acting & i loved the chemistry between him & Han Ji! many conflicts in the story, but in the end, good works prevail. i like the drama. shin dong-wook very good (actingwise) – for me, SOULMATES (drama) is the best.

i just re-watched this beautiful drama maybe 3rd time now on dvd & still not tired of it! shin dong wook was great in this drama as well as han ji hye, grt chemistry too bad they’re not doing another team up these days! i highly recommend this & unfortunately it’s under-rated at the time it was airing, i gathered it was same time showing with jumong? i guess i heard someone said that! anyway, it’s a happy ending & if u hvnt seen this one, you’re missing something! one of the best kdramas i’ved seen!

Highly recommended acted well ,one of my personal favorite Korean series, the leading actor Shin Dong Wool refreshing/dashing with sensual look. Good cinematography and unforgettable if not memorable soundtrack, a classic Korean series at it’s best.
