Synopsis
Lee Shin is a university student majoring in modern music. He is also the vocalist and guitarist of the band “The Stupid.” Shin is known for his good looks and strong passion for music, but in reality he is cold, lacks interest in anything unrelated to music and has neither dreams nor plans for the future. He initially likes Jung Yoon Soo, a dance professor at university, but this all changes when he meets Lee Kyu Won.
Lee Kyu Won is a bright and outgoing student who was born into a prestigious family and is majoring in traditional Korean instruments, especially the gayageum. Kyu Won’s grandfather, Lee Dong Gun, is one of the top 3 traditional musicians of his age and his biggest wish is to see his granddaughter become a traditional music prodigy. Trying to live up to her grandfather’s expectations, Kyu Won immerses herself in training and becomes a university student who knows nothing outside of her studies. As her friends are fans of “The Stupid”, she was forced to go to the band’s concert with them. There she saw Lee Shin performing live, and is immediately captivated by him.

How come this drama won Baeksang Awards? YOU MUST BE KIDDING ME..I just can’t believe that, more drama deserve to be the winner. are the Natizen blind? they even can’t see which drama is deserve or not.

If you are referring the award written above, you will see that it’s the lead actress Park Shin Hye won the popularity award not the drama itself. I agree too that this is not a drama that deserves an award. But, the stars are usually loved by the people so even if the drama has not received a great rating, still the stars get the award. And, don’t worry much, it is just a popularity award. I think Park Shin Hye will still get it even not in this drama!!! She’s quite popular knowing that she’s been with Prince of Asia (Jang Geun Suk ) in her previous drama…

I love the music they played specially when they combine the modern and traditional instrument. Hindi nakakasawang pakinggan kahit paulit-ulit.

i guess this drama is good… for those whom have watched He’s Beautiful. although the idea is great, but it failed to keep me interested, it failed to even make me feel anything. even now, while watching i am distracted by other stuff/drama. i also can’t help thinking about Secret Garden whenever i watch Heartstrings, i also don’t know why. anyway, it really is a pity, i’ve had high hopes for this drama to be good

this is the most boring drama i ever watched… the lead actress was boring… she’s not even good at singing… if not with jang keun suk she wont get popular…. and OMG very low rating…. the lead actress is so ugly not even matched with Yonghwa…. and i never heard that the lead actress had a good drama beside you are beautiful that was just because of jang keun suk…
