Synopsis
Cha Do-kyung was an “it girl” and center of the attention during her school days. Thanks to her looks and affluent family background, she was surrounded by many suitors and admirers. On the other hand, Jang Gong-sim, Do-kyung’s friend, who always lagged far behind Do-kyung in every aspect felt inferior to her while growing up. However, Do-kyung’s accidental one-night stand with Bong-hee, Gong-shim’s then boyfriend, led to an unwanted pregnancy with twins. Do-kyung and Bong-hee’s subsequent marriage made the two women live a very different life. Do-kyung becomes an ordinary homemaker while betrayed Gong-shim who went to overseas to pursue her study becomes a celebrity which could have been Do-kyung’s fate. Their reversed situation makes them at odds with each other and they end up fighting over Hyun-woo who once had a crush on Do-kyung when young. Torn between the two women, will Hyun-woo stick to his first love who became another man’s wife or will he decide to marry Gong-shim, the ugly duckling turned into the beautiful swan? Will Gong-shim’s efforts to win Hyun-woo’s heart be successful?

Entertaining drama. Simple storyline yet very sweet and heartwarming. I must say that im a bit dissapointed with the ending but i fully understand why Chan Woo and Do Kyung can’t be together again. Things have changed in their 17 years apart. It was a very wise decision for Chan Woo to letting Do Kyung back to where she belongs to. A way of love that not anybody is able to do. Like he said, my way of loving her is to let her goes so that i can see her living her life full of hapiness. Very amazing. So everyone out there, try to understand what is the message that the writer is trying to deliver to audiences like us. Personally it’s worth watching and i will definately recommend to watch. Cheers….

i hate the ending…the lovely dogyeong ends up with his ugly husband…i was all waiting that chun wu and dogyeong will be together again and will live happily ever after …super hatey!!!!

I checked out a set of 8 episodes from the library and the last one was damaged about 1/4 of the way through. Now, I am dying to know what happens. Who does Do-kyung end up with? Her husband? Or the gorgeous guy? Or does she end up being a career woman? What about the other one, Gong – how does she end up? Does the husband ever grow up? What about the dance teacher – it seemed like something was going on with the sister in law?

hmff . . seems like chan woo and dogyeong will not end up together . . i really want them to end up together in the end . . but at the same time, i feel bad for the husband coz he always try to change for his family . . the only one i hate in this drama is that gongshim . . she’s a flirt . . she feels she’s so pretty . . she’s acting nice in front of chanwoo, but when he turn he’s back . . . hmmmm
