Synopsis
‘City Hunter’ is an original script based on the world-famous novel by Japan’s Tsukasa Hojo. Since it became public that Korea would be the first remake of this story into a drama, ‘City Hunter’ has been receiving worldwide attention. ‘City Hunter’ has switched the setting from Tokyo 1980 to Seoul 2011, and according to the original story structure, the protagonist becomes a city hunter and his character develops while resolving gratifying cases.
The story takes place in Seoul, 2011. Lee Yoon Sung is a talented MIT-graduate who works on the international communications team in the Blue House. He plans revenge on five politicians who caused his father’s death with his surrogate father Lee Jin Pyo and eventually becomes a “City Hunter.”

now it is still showing on ONE channel every sunday at 2045h and it is dubbed in chinese. I can listen what they are talking in chinese while i am watching this korean drama.

i had watched many “asianovelas” as we call it here in the Philippines but i was never this addicted i can say.. to the point of watching it over and over starting from the first episode of course down to the last, my GOD! i never get bored! i have yun seong on my desktop, cell phone wallpaper and chrome theme too… i like his pages here and there. i even get myself updated and feel excited of the rumor that him and nana are still in good terms, hoping its not just a rumor though..
certainly, i love every character in city hunter! with regards to lee min ho’s acting, it’s superb!, really! (2 thumbs up) not to mention the gadgets, wowser!
..so kudos to the director, staff and crew!
hope to see yun seong with nana again this year, next year and for the coming years. (wink)

I love this series! Lee Min Ho did a great job portraying the main character. The City Hunter is awesome and I just love the clothing!
His style rocks! Great job with the cast, plot, and everything. It’s sad and happy!

i watch also many times a korean drama like princess hours, endless love, forbidden love and etc. in my whole life this is the one,my number one Korean drama I’ve ever seen… hope park min young and lee in hoo can have new movie or drama and also their relationship goes stronger and forever it will be the same… my idols. take care

City Hunter is really one of the best … I love lee min ho and park min young.. They really look good on screen and what a lovely pair. Each episodes gives me different emotions and sometimes felt that i was part of the story. It makes me laugh, cry and most of the time “KILIG” to death. Congratulations to the staff and crew of this drama series..
