Synopsis
Gong Ah Jung, a level 5 Ministry of Culture official, gets entangled in a web of lies when she mistakenly lies that she’s married to Hyun Ki Joon, a hotel manager from an affluent family. Their relationship is further complicated when Ki Joon’s ex-fiancée and a close friend of his brother’s, Oh Yoon Joo, reappears in his life.

I just finished watching this series..I like it…The story is simple but full of romance and comedy..I hope that yoon eun hye and kang ji hwan will have another series next yr they are perfect partner….

in the begining of eps are quite boring.. but start from eps 5 this drama become more interesting.. and make me falling in love with their romantic relation.. and i’m so envy with Ah Jung.. her bf is perfect man, handsome, rich, kind, responsible, reliable and the most important thing have a huge love to Ah Jung… perfect

please have a part 2 I’ve been watching this for a 30times i really want to have a part 2
on how they handle each others life and how a standard man handle a regular woman which always happen also in real life.,love is not enough but sometimes theirs a trials to face with but in the end they would understand each others weakness and this is the endless love.,endless love which begins in lies but ends up true.,

i missed seeing KJH & YEH together on the screen. i really hope another series will feature them together as the best tandem ever seen. they really look good together. most fave korean series i ever seen was lie to me. can’t get over it. how many times did i watch & still watch it over & over again. to the directors, can it be possible that a continuation of the story will be aired where they will wed & have their family & they will live happily ever after… thanks..

What is it about Korean dramas that you always have the characters getting drunk, throwing up on the other person, then they have to carry them on their back. They also sll have either both dead parents or one. But when they do have a parent(s) they are mean and manipulative. Why are all the dramas basically the same?

@324 – The dramas are not all the same, though they do use the same plot devices constantly: excessive alcohol use, carrying each other everywhere, manipulative parent(s) or grandparent(s) that need to be placated, and so on.
I liked “Lie to Me” despite its really being two plots, the first getting the couple together based on the lie, and the second having KJH courting YEH, a reversal of the beginning. The real complication should have been based on the attempts to show Ah Jeong why she should not be the wife of a high-powered business exec involved with international contracts that will reflect on Korea’s prestige. That never gets resolved. Which brings me to the real point: the dramas seem to be all alike because nobody knows how to end them. The natural end to Lie to Me was about two episodes before the end. I was relieved when, after Ah Jeong left for Jeju, we did not get a screen that read “four years later.”
