Synopsis
Jan Di is an average girl whose family owns a dry cleaning store located near the luxurious and well known Shin Hwa College. Jan Di meets the four richest and most spoiled boys known as the F4. After saving a boy from jumping off the roof of Shinhwa High School, she is admitted into the school on a swimming scholarship. Jan Di tries to avoid confrontation with the F4 at all cost because she knows what happens to those that stand against them. However, when Jan Di’s friend, Oh Min Ji, accidentally gets ice cream on the leader of the F4′s shoes, she’s forced to declare war on the leader of the F4, Goo Joon Pyo.

I think this drama is overrated. I tried to watch until episode 11 or 12, but I couldn’t find anything to like about this drama. I like KHJ in WGM, he was so funny as himself, but acting is so beyond him. LMH was ok in City Hunter, but in this drama, really left me speechless not in a good way. The other 2, I don’t really care. The worst thing is, there is no emotional connections between the 3 main characters. I have to compare with Goong, since there are similarities between those 2 dramas. For example, the main characters were teenagers, the girl came from average family, the boys are from rich/noble families, the main boy were soooo annoying and heartless at first, the secondary was sweet and kind, but 3 of them were so good at expressing their feelings. Pain, happiness, disappointment, love, desperation, we could see and feel all those emotions during the entire series.
Anyway, I think this drama is what could have been. With better casts, better plot, better directing, it could have been something enjoyable.
But sorry to say, it is not.

I also watched until episode 11 and gave up on this show. The main character, Jan Di is such a slob, it is just too riduculous to believe that the F4 would befriend her. She has a boy’s haircut, eats like a SLOB and dresses like a 3rd grader. They should have given the lead to the actress who plays her best friend, Gaeul, who although a “commoner”, is so much more feminine while still being passionate about her ideals, etc. I kept thinking that Jan Di would evolve as a woman, but I got tired of waiting for that to happen. Maybe she does by the 25th episode, but I find it just to riduculous to watch anymore.

strangely though, the series have very high ratings throughout when it was first broadcast. i can only surmise that the Korean audience loved the series because there is something in this dramatic fantasy of a girl bearing all the hardships somehow endures what is coming her way (“fighting” underdog). haven’t finished watching, and am guessing the ending could not be far from happy, for the viewers sake. i cannot be critical of korean dramas because i come from a different culture, and there’s something lost in the translation, so am just happy that i get entertained. cheers!

i loved all the songs in this drama as well especially stand by me
this drama is one of my fav dramas along with love rain and you’re beautiful if u havnt seen those dramas then u havnt lived yet!!! i got my boyfrend to kinda like the dramas yay its a miracle

i dont care wat people say i managed to watch thru to the end i love pretty much all dramas and im stubborn to watch them thru to the end once i start. im lik tht. also i cried wen goo jun pyo broke down and cried in the airport wen jandi left with jihoo it made me cry so bad ;( yes it has a lot of episodes but to me they are worth watching :b

THIS WAS A REALLY GOOD MOVIE AND THE ACTORS WERE SO CUTE!
BEST PART WAS WHEN Koo Hye Sun KICK Lee Min Ho IN THE FACE.
AFTER THE MOVIE WAS OVER I HAD WISH THAT THIS MOVIE WOULD HAVE A PART 2.

Omg, finally found ppl that think this drama has a dull plot. Watched this, just to see what all the hype was about, and it gave me this… But, in saying this, it did make the actors and actresses into leading hallyu stars, and I’m happy for that(:

Me encanto este dorama y en realidad a quien no le haya gustado entonces definitivamente no tiene sentimientos ¬¬ Los primeros comentarios que hay aqui son en contra del dorama y en realidad esos son un asco porque este dorama es una maravilla.. definitivamente ningun dorama en la vida lo va a superar.

I love this drama. I could watch it over and over again. Korean version best portrays the original Japanese manga. Korean F4 shows how original F4 suppose to look like and main female character (Jandi) has the hair cut that the manga main character has.

I think Boys Over Flower and Princess Man is the best drama ever i have seen many korean dramas. The plot, the cast, everthing is just perfect
Both is outstanding, very good in their own class of level…BOF is modern drama while Princess Man is (epic drama). Congratulations to BOF and Princess Man. Love all of you
