Enjoyed the series tremendously, a better change of the many irritating Korean ‘Cinderella syndrome’ dramas. I find the dialogue mature and refreshing. I understand many may not enjoy the series because it lack “flashy Packaging” of under aged pretty boys. However the chemistry and sincerity of characters lead the story. If you think the show may be slow or lacking perhaps its due to your own taste. I guess many have never read Jane Austen books, or any classics for that matter. To some these books may dragging or boring. Yet their stories have endured the times. Those who find such classics boring are often glossy magazine readers with short words and nice big pictures to entertain them, same for those react to the SL drama, if you don’t like it. I suggest you stick to your shallow pretty boy dramas.

a mature, true romance drama series acted by experienced actors which is refreshing compared to recently produced romance dramas acted by the younger set. i’m glad i watched this series as recommended by someone, the reason was to see a depiction of how a korean actor’s agent could make or break a vulnerable actor. if the depiction of a shrewd, controlling, manipulating, ba—rd, s.o.b. is based on real people, then i pity those actors and entertainers handled by this kind of unscrupulous people. in this series, the star was made and created by the agent, and being alone with no family, of unfinished schooling, she had her insecurities and vulnerabilities, and was captive to those who took advantage of her until she met someone who really cared and loved her. i couldn’t believe that with so much money she did not have a lawyer and a financial adviser who could have protected her, but i guess not knowing what was outside of her being a ‘star’ world, she did not know any better. the actors were very good, i specially the acting of the male agent (but he was also good in the series ‘time between dog and wolf’). the series dragged towards the end, i think the writing was intended to have closures of issues involved, including those of the supporting roles. it’s worth a watch!

i didn’t see the ratings, but based on some posts above seemed like this did not have very good ratings. wonder what were the competing series on that particular time slot – series acted by the young idols whose fans would be more engrossed watching? guess so, that’s why posts here are few.
