   “A Man Called God” – First episode (MBC TV, 9:45 p.m.)

   It is hard to say what exactly this drama is about. But come to think of it,

   it seems “A Man Called God” — from the script to its action sequences —

   tried to create something close to an adult comic. The show displayed

   how plain it is by unfolding its romantic plot involving every character

   within its improbable storyline. And the action scenes portrayed the very

   sentimentality voiced in adult comics where machos rule the world or

   sing of romance with the backdrop as night life or the political and

   economical circle. How the camera scans up and down the bodies of

   actresses Han Go-eun and Yoo In-yeong dressed in their bathing suits

   also reveals that the show’s taste in aesthetics is at the level of that seen

   in the cartoon section of sports papers. So were it not for the fact that

   this drama has a spectacular cast composed of top actors Song Il-gook,

   Han Chae-young and others, or the fact it is a weekend blockbuster

   series made on a 10 billion won budget, the drama could have received

   acknowledgment as a adult comic-like dram

   Song Il Gook is a popular South Korean actor. He starred in several historical Korean dramas such as Jumong and Emperor of the Sea. He graduated from the Cheongju University and majored in Performing Arts. He is the grandson of Kim Du-han, son of the famous Korean independence movement general Kim Jwa-jin during the early 1900s. He is the son of actress Kim Eul Dong.[1]

   Song typically takes on physically challenging roles that require sword-fighting, martial arts and horsemanship. He is a vice-president of the Korean Triathlon Confederation[2][3] and participated in the 2008 Seoul International Triathlon Competition.[4] In April 2008, Song carried the Olympic torch through Seoul.[5][6]

   Additionally, Song has talent as a sketch artist. His skill was captured during filming of Emperor of the Sea and Kingdom of the Winds.[7]

   In addition to acting, Song has modeled professionally, both on the runway and in print. Recently, in 2008, he and several of his colleagues, Joo Jin Mo, Ko Soo, Jang Geun-suk, and Park Jae-jung,were the subjects of the “Kolon Christmas Photo Shoot”, [8].

   On March 15 2008, Song was wed to a Busan High Court Judge (identified only by her family name “Jung”) in a private traditional[9] Korean wedding away from the media spotlight at the Sheraton Walkerhill Hotel in Seoul[10].

   In 2009, the State of Hawaii designated March 21 as Song Il-Gook day.[11]

   I have watched both KOTW and Jumong and loved them both for different reasons. Song Il Gook ~ outstanding actor. Saw KOTW first (loved it although wasn’t too fond of the lead actress); then Jumong (loved it and loved the chemistry between SIG and lead actress). Thought it would be hard to watch Jumong, but that certainly was not the case (have watched it now 3 times) ~ Il Gook IS Jumong; his indepth portrayal of Jumong brought him to life and Il Gook IS Muhyul; he portrayed him so beautifully. Both dramas are connected and using the same actor, I thought, was brilliant….who else would portray Jumong’s grandson?? Even though same actor, they look different (the wonderful world of hair & makeup!!!). Song Il Gook is a magnificent actor and I wish him much success on any and all future projects.

    واصدر امر باعدام الاميرة لاهيا ترجم بالحجارة مع الملكة ماسو وخادمتها اما الملكة جاسيل اخذت جثة لاهيا وهربت بها بالبحر الملك الجاولي وكل جيشه قطعت رؤسهم وبعد مرور عام ذهب هادونك ليشاهد مسرح الدمى وقام تشو مربي الاميرة جاميونك بعرض كل القصة امامه انتبه هادونك ولاحظ وجود فتحه بارض المسرح وبعد ان غادر الناس دخل الى السرداب في ارض المسرح وجد الاميرة جاميونك يبكي كثيرا ولكنها لم تسامحه يهرب تلاحقه وتصير معركه بالسيوف بينهما واخيرا يقتلها ويقتل نفسه

    وتنتهي هذه الراما بحزن شديد لما القائد العظيم يجمع اعداد كبيرة من رجال ناغرانك ويشن هجوم عنيف على جيش الملك ماهيول لتحرير ناغرانك ولكنه يقتل في المعركة ويقتل كل رجاله

    تطورت الاحداث وصارت ممتعة جدا وصلت بوكو الى مملكة ناغرانك ودخلت الى بيت ابيها الملك بمرافقة لاهيا التي هربت من كوغريو بمساعدة هودونك وبوكو وقد تعرفت عليها الملكة الام وكذلك الملك حاول هودونك استرداد بوكو ولكنه لم يفلح وتحولت بوكو الى كاهنة بالمملكة لكي تعتزل الناس بعد ان راْت اختها تحاول قتلها لكي لا تاخذ مكانها بولاية العهد صارت كاهنة وجائتها رؤيا غريبة وذلك ان هودونك يقود جيش كبير ويهجم على ناغرانك فزعت لهذا الحلم وتوسلت الى الله ليساعدها جائتها فكرة بعمل طبل ضخم من جلد 300 ثور وهذا الطبل يدق دقاً عنيفا في حالة اي هجوم على بلدهم استطاع هودونك بواسطة حيلة من ابيه الملك ماهيول ان يتقرب الى لاهيا ويتزوجها ويعيش في نا غرانك

    واستطاع ان يقنعها بالقدوم الى زيارة كوغريوا ولما قابلت الملك ماهيول هددها اذا لم تمزق طبل جاميونك سوف يقتل هادونك ويهجم على مملكة ابيها ويقتل جميع الاسرة الحاكمة وياخذ الناس عبيد
