Synopsis
Kim Jung Hwa is a young and sincere middle school teacher, who has little interest in money. She is also extremely warm-hearted and loves to help other people. When she helps carry an elderly man’s belongings from the train to another location, the elderly man is extremely thankful. This grandfather turns out to be the extremely rich owner of a well known conglomerate. His grandson, Kang Dong Won is a quick-tempered businessman who rivals his grandfather, but in an almost comical way. In an order to “tame” his favorite grandson, the grandfather agrees to give his entire fortune to the person who marries Kim Jung Hwa, therefore forcing Kang to meet the girl whom his grandfather chose. Although at first Kim and Kang don’t get along because of Kang’s extremely cute but bad temper, their arguments bring them closer together. Kang starts to get jealous when Kim’s fellow teacher starts liking her too. Through the clever conditions that Kang’s grandfather makes, Kang starts a relationship he does not look forward too. However, what looked like a relationship that would 99% not work out, turns out to be the “perfect” match, the 1% chance.

the worst drama i’ve seen. directing and ost is awful. acting is also not the best, except grandpa and some other elder acters (i wonder how did they accept casting in that poor drama at all).

6 July 2010 I finished watching 1% of Anything Korean drama. This is a brilliant drama. very factual, realistic and would stay current with young and elder audience, Congratulations to the writer, director and all the actors and actresses! More power to all of them.

I love this drama. Although its plot is simple : boy and girl are thrown together by chance, they don’t like each other at first, but slowly both are changed by the other and all that is well , will end well.
I am tired of twisted ,contrived and convoluted plot that don’t work out well in the end (like Cinderella’s sister). This romance is simple ; of course the obstacles are all contrived and they are ridiculous but that is the way of these K dramas. Actually I like the ridiculous obstacles the couple meet on the way, because I can see them clearly and they don’t pretend to carry the pretentious seriousness of some other dramas I have seen.
I can then concentrate on enjoying the trials and tribulations the couple are going thru knowing full as they resolve this one, there will be one other popping up soon because there are 25 episodes to fill.
There are many, many endearing moments the main couples share on their way to the end and that is what I love about 1%.
One example : she goes on a blind date set up by Mom, and he is hovering jealously 3 feet away, scowling and making a ruckus to drive away the other guy. I mean it is utterly ridiculous but I love it just the same.

I’ve watched this drama over and over again and still not contented. For the last 3 weeks, my eyes are glued on this drama – I even bought the DVD.
Although the plot is almost like any other dramas, the flow was different. The happy ending didn’t happen at the end but close to the end of the story – very unusual. The ending is when the grandfather explained the meaning of 1% – which really is very unusual again.
This drama is now in my top ten best k-dramas.

This drama is a cute one. I wasn’t satisfied with the ending…I wanted to see everything come to a close, but the drama itself was adorable, cute, rather endearing and entertaining.
A definite one to watch.

I am enjoying this romance, but am wondering about the man who plays Teacher Kang. I can’t find the actor’s name anywhere. Does someone in here know what his name is? I am trying to figure out what other shows he’s been on, but without his name, I’m stuck.
Thanks

found it at dramafans…hehehe!
i never expected this drama…i’ve seen this before but now that i’ve watched it again, it felt a new drama for me.
i missed this kind of family and romance genre…this kind of genre now a days takes 50-100+ episodes but this drama only has 26 episodes yet it has everything…everything’s light…no violence…it’s just about life and love…if you just want to relax and enjoy a good drama…you will surely enjoy this drama. i never liked old dramas before coz i felt that its a cliche in terms of story…they are more consevative, unlike today’s dramas were the stories are more deep and complicated…but this drama is not like that. falling in love, fighting for your love and having a family are what you will experience in this drama.
thank you for sharing this drama to us!

Re-watching this drama again. Miss Kim Jung Hwa and Kang Dong Won couple.
They look perfect together. Noticed that early episode Kang Dong Won kinda awkward with Kim Jung Hwa but ep 21-25 he loves to hug her and smile like real couple.
Keep smiling while watching it. It about pure love to our family n love.
9 years doesn’t made this drama old at all.
