What a very heartrending drama. But it’s virtuous. Lead actresses/actors are cool. I already saw Xishu in “The Witch Amusement” but in this drama she did it better.
The biological father of Ridong is very heartless. Is it possible that you may gamble the life of your own flesh and blood in exchange of your livelihood? Anyway the plot is very attention-grabbing.
Try to watch this.

I’ve never seen the lead actor anywhere before but boy, can he act! He is very convincing in his role as a bum earlier on in the series & he is one character who will make you root for him as he is so adorable & virtuous. It is indeed inspiring to see how he changes for the better & how the lead actress & him gets along so well together. one thing which bothers me throughout as usual is (as i’m a very visual viewer) how korean actresses have to resort to uplift cosmetically their noses so much so that they (the noses, i mean) dominates the screen & at certain side angles, look so ugly instead of natural. I notice Ridong’s mom & Xishu especially have impractically high bridged noses which do not seem to complement their otherwise delicate features. other than that 1 point, So Yu-Jin is 1 hell of an actress cos she can really cry buckets & makes you wanna cry along too.

i bought the dvd & just started watching this — it’s hilarious & i like the lead actor Lee Hoon, he’s a very convincing actor, he was also in My Man’s Woman & his role there was quite serious but he’s good! it’s worth buying & watching — a friend recommended this who liked it very much. i can’t wait to see the next one as it is with other Kdramas we’ve seen – it’s addictive!

I will be renting and watching the Korean drama call “Thirty Thousand Miles in Search of My Son” some other time at any of the video renting shop like TS or any other video renting shop. I like So Yoo Jin as the idol because she acts as Na Soon Young and i like her acting in the Korean drama.

i just finished the drama two minutes ago. VERY good storyline, funny, climatic, and just plain enjoyable. 4.5/5 Must watch if you’re a kdrama addict like me. storyline does get really powerful; and the only problem with the drama is the continuous sobbing and the massive alcohol consumption which makes it rather “over pushing” it. otherwise, crying does blend with the story and the story is very nicely scripted. enjoy watching!
