Synopsis
Wi Mae Ri is the cheerful, pragmatic daughter of a failed businessman who had grown used to being constantly on the move to escape from debtors. She becomes fast friends with the free-spirited indie singer Kang Moo Kyul when she nearly ran him over in a car. Meanwhile, her father Wi Dae Han is saved from his debtors by his old friend, Jung Suk, who had just returned from considerable success in the Japanese entertainment industry. Jung Suk, who had harboured a secret love for Mae Ri’s mother, sets up a deal with Dae Han to have Mae Ri marry his son, Jung In. In her desperate to escape this predicament, Mae Ri begs Moo Kyul to pose as her husband, and finds herself in even more trouble than before when her father proposes a 100-day period in which she has to divide her time equally between Moo Kyul and Jung In, after which she has to decide who to marry.

- Won Soo Yeon also wrote the manhwa “Full House” which was adapted into the 2004 KBS drama “Full House”.
- Writer In Eun Ah left the drama due to the drama’s low ratings and discord with the production team. She was replaced with Go Bong Hwang who took over the script from episode 11.

i’m a fan of jang geun suk, and personally, i love this drama better than his role in you’re beautiful. i think i love to see his character in this drama
he and moon geun yeong also are such cute couple. but… kim jae wook role is the reason why i keep watching. he’s so gorgeous and he’s such a great actor. i can’t believe he never end up being main lead of any drama. i would love seeing him finds his love, he deserves it..

the cast are great and cute..but the story just not so great..no wonder it get a lower rating..i had watch for 6 episode and after that i just cant go on..i dont know why..

Im a fan of JGS, but honestly speaking I don’t like his acting in this series, maybe that’s the reason why the rating was not that good…no offense meant…peace!

It happens often in our life that we are much inclined to criticize somebody than praises him/her. None of us is exempted because this is part of human nature. Criticism is a bad habit because it not only solves nothing; it contributes to the anger and distrust in our world. When we judge or criticize another person, we are spreading negative energy causing the object of our criticism to react in fear or shame and much worse in anger and hostility towards us.
- MMM brought me to become addicted to all Kdrama. It helps me to be entertained when im stressed at work.So for me, instead of criticizing each story i’d rather appreciate them for their hardwork and talent.

My first question is does this kind of marriage relationship exists before or till the present? Then if it is what I see here is the feeling – LOVE between Mae ri and Kang Myu Gul regardless of money. This is reality – one may have all the riches and comfort in the world but if the feeling is not there- all are vanity. It is empty and there will be happiness. Not all the time LOVE could be learned. Mary was true to her feelings and so Myu Gul. The lesson we can get here is that… though it was so difficult for them KMG and WMR but they survived. It shows that Mary continued in her studies and will probably graduate. KMG was singing – but we knew that he became popular already. In reality – both of them will support each other. IF we are really listening to KMG words.. he became matured already, has the goal and vision to be a good husband and father though he did not experienced a real family. What we could see in the two characters is the sincerity of their love. I love how they show affection to each other… it is just so sweet. Maturity will come, riches could be gained and much more they are really in love to each other, respect each other, understand each other. I love the way they communicate and settles.
Shall we say it was not well done, however, the lesson is there if we read in between lines. I just wished that it ended showing Mary and Myu Gul at the altar – though it maybe implied but it is still great to see if that was the ending. I do not know Jang Geun Suk but I have watched Moon Guen Young at Painter in the Wind. Jang Geun suk caught my attention for many were like him in the place where I worked before and I can feel the character that I admired him how he did portray it. Then I watched You’re Beautiful… I like him more at MMM. I like MGY in portraying her character it was so funny that it seems real to me rather than they were just acting. WEll, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

By the way, I cannot remember how many times I watched this drama – reading carefully the subtitles (am glad there was good subtitles) that I would be able to understand the drama. It was well delivered. All the actors and actresses were able to portray the characters very well. RAting is not really the basis if the drama is good. IT depends upon the mood of the viewers and their choice. But it is so popular outside South Korea. Hmmmm I wonder? Was it shown untimely? Why not people are crazy about JGS and MGY even dreaming they are real couple ( I myself wished that) every day I am surfing if there is any latest news about them.Episode 9 is my favorite when they were talking about family. EPisode 14 during their playful time. Again, it is on the individual’s taste.

Dawn, agree with you. Am 2nd supporter – MMM. It’s not easy for one to play the role Kang Mugul, especially the hippie bohemian musician. But I see both of them JGS and MGY plays the role very well and the BEST! This also relates to our real life, too. Anyway, I like this MMM very much. Have watched many times. It is a real meaningful down to earth drama!!!

I don’t agree with negative comments at all! It totally deserves Best drama of the year.Very interesting,romantic,fun and beautiful drama.Actors are great.Jang Geun Suk did his best.His performing of My Gyul character was perfect.Ending was right.That type of guys like Mu Gyul don’t easyly marry.OST is wonderful! Oh,I just love this drama!!!!

I watched this movie coz of JGS and i am in love again with him…He is really handsome and the acting was fantastic..He deserved a best actor title..Money cannot buy LOVE, that is very true. LOve you JGS and waiting for another drama for yours…Do not worry about the Rating, It depends on how you act and you did it perfectly JGS…Keep up and will always be ur Fan. Wish you could come to India for fanmeeting…

i love this drama, all the cast are amazing… I like the story to me its looks real, hope this drama have part 2 bt the same cast.. I love to watched moon geun young and jang geun suk together they looks likes real couple…how many times i watched it its really great.. Dnt care about the rating coz for me is the best.. I am fairly new to korean drama and I recently discovered that this drama has gotten awarded best drama of 2010 (at least on this site). I can’t stop asking myself who the h**l are these ppl who have voted on this title? I enjoyed some aspekts of the show (all of these in the first couple of episodes), like how it considers itself beeing almost a metafilm (joking about “these things” only happening in dramas + implement the story of the drama itself in the wringpart of Mary’s job) I also liked how they bring up arranged marriges and so on.
This is were my praising stops, I was unable to feel any sympathy for any of the characters except for Kim Jae Wook, Kim Hyo Jin and Park Joon Gyu. I still have no idea what character the general mass i suppose to feel is the protagonist… 99 % of the time the other actors just went around making stupid, illogical decisions (100 % of the cases they were just plain dumb and cheesy). I can not understand how the hell this show got such a prestigous award. And the lead actress? I just couldn’t stand even looking at her partly because of how painfully dumb and irresponsible she seemed but also because I found her plain dumblooking throwing her idiotic gaze everywhere(might be stepping over the line here but I cant help myself…).

No matter what anyone says about this drama, I FREAKING LOVE IT DEATH! I”M A HARDCORE FAN!!! This drama is the best drama in the world to me! I cried, I squealed, I smiled, I laughed, it was simply amazing.
Even though it was short, it was amazing. Jan Geun Suk was really really hot and I just love the couple formed by him and Moon Geun Young.
The songs…THE SONGS IN THE DRAMA ARE SO GOOD. I used to listen to “My precious” and think about the drama and it literally made me cry. Oh man this drama was so good. Not only “My precious” is amazing, all of the songs are amazing.
Maybe some people don’t like it but I fell in love with it. No wonder it got awarded Best Drama of 2010. The drama was succesful because lots of girls fantasize about a guy like Mu Gyul, cute, with long hair, artist, independent, good looking…you get the idea. I loved his character to death.
A scene I love in this drama is when he sang that song he made for Mary. I cried tears of happiness. lol
I think you people who criticize this drama so harshly need to get those poles out of your a**es. It’s not the drama, it’s you. It’s the rotten perspective through which you look at life. Try being more kind and optimistic for a change. Trust me I’m giving you this advice from experience. Being kind and putting things under a bright light can change your life completely, because after all, what is inside of us reflects into reality. It sounds cliche, I know, but it’s the only key to happiness.
