Synopsis
Jung-suh and Song-joo grew up together. They were always there for each other. Tragedy begins when Song Joo begins his studies overseas without Jung-suh. Jung-suh’s father remarries Tae Mira. Mira takes in her two children from a previous marriage, Tae-hwa and Yuri. Yuri is envious of the life that Jung-suh leads and is determined to take everything away from her, including Song-joo. Tae-hwa begins to develop feelings for his stepsister, however Jung-suh still loves Song-joo. Five years later, tragedy occurs when Jung-suh gets into a car accident causing her to lose her memory. Together with Tae-hwa, they start anew. Song-joo is led to believe that she is dead. However, when they meet again one day, he is determined to remind her of the love they had for one another. When fate finally seemed to be on their side, Jung-suh is diagnosed with eye cancer.

Stairway to Heaven is a wonderful korean drama I ever seen in my life…
u know if I was Choi Ji Woo I still do the same in her character….
when CJW cry I will cry too…I can feel wat she feel in that character…
It’s was the sad wonderful love story….I want KSW n CJW can act together again….my 4 both of them GOOD LUCK..I LOVE U!!!

for me this is the best dama ever after winter sonata. I really like choi ji woo!!!!!!! Actually, she’s my most favorite actress even though i’m a filipino and i really like her team up with kwon sang woo… i hope they’ll have another drama. i love you choi ji woo and you’re the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

.. the first of Kwon Song Woo’s drama series in the Philippines… AND IT WAS A HIT! He made so many Filipinos cry. This drama had sooooo many avid followers… a story typical of the preferences of Filipino audience. It was indeed a heartfelt series… had made Kwon SW so popular, in fact he is popularly known here as CHOLO, his Philippine name in the series. So, for Kwon SW, do not be surprised when your fans here call you CHOLO. I remember, when it was shown here, the last five days of its showing was the talk of our office; everyone would go home early to ensure that they watch it.
it was indeed a tragic story, but this made the actors act superbly. One scene that is memorable to me is the one shot in the coffee shop and the other one was that scene in the private movie bus while watching “Love Story”…
Really a great drama series! And one of my many favorite Koreanovelas.

I love this show but it was really sad in the end i wish that the ending can be a little different why do it have to be so sad throughout the movie why can’t they just be happily together. something seems to always block them from being together and finally when they got to be with each other she have to get blind and later diagnose with cancer. soo sad it made me cry and at the same time i was disappointed
but i do recommend you to watch it, it is really touching cuz throughtout the movie i was either crying and was really touch by the love of song-joo and jung-suh wish they can act together again. No drama can beat this drama yet still my #1 and most favorite.

watching this drama! my god I shed a gallon of teares ttt…This is the drama of Cholo (Kwon Sang woo) where Im head over heals to him..I hope their be real couple..Jodie and Cholo

Stairway to Heaven is my most favorite korean drama. Great love, great acting, great everything except the ending because Choi Ji Woo’s character Han Jung-Suh died.
Choi Ji Woo & Kwon Sang Woo’s chemistry on this drama was superb. I hope they get together again in another drama very soon.

Love the love that shines in this drama. The cast was great and the leading actor/actress were superb. The sound effect was great and the pace was fast compare to other K drama. It’s by far the best K drama I’ve seen.
