Synopsis
Seo Hye Rim is a hot-tempered news announcer who was fired by the broadcasting company, but is later elected to the National Assembly and became the first female president of Korea. She faces political pressure and potential impeachment from Kang Tae San and his followers, but survives with the aid of the prosecutor Ha Do Ya.

@diefan,well,i dis agree with,,i find the story of this drama convincing,,it tells what really happening today specially in politics..u can hardly find good politicians now a days,,most of them are corrupt thats why many poeple are sufferings,,this drama didnt entertained us but it also gave the audience the msg it likes to convey to us… CORRUPTION!… but there are maybe few(ihope more)who are still has genuine purpose for being in politics …to serve the people n not for their own sake ..of all the koreans drma,this is the closest to reality n not fantasy or make believe just like other dramas.. sorry diefan i dont want to offend you,but pls,take a closer look on what happening on your country,im sure corruption is also there.

The Daemul drama is a romance and political story about a great and intelligent woman who has been elected as Korea president. As a national project, it is a great idea and as an artistic project is a great and novel story for any director and producer that likes country’s.
In this drama, selection of castings was very appropriate and intelligent. Indeed, KSW and KHJ is very match with each other because of high level of their casting skills in every moments of drama story. KSW is a great actor with different capability for displaying different roles so stunning and bright. In the other hand, KHJ is a strong actress who can play antagonistic roles so professional and realistic. In the daemul she displays a life of a strong and honest woman regardless of her sex and any other characters that attractive for almost men so that can match with a honest and brave man like as Ha DoYa that apparently is not perfect match for her but without any selfish conditions love and understand each other so much.
Finally, I like and enjoy it so much beacuse of real story and lovely castings.

GREAT DRAMA I LOVED IT , HOWEVER THE PARK TAE SUNG WAS LET OFF AS WELL AS OTHER CORROP PEOPLE FOM THE HANDS OF LAW.THIS WILL NOT JUSTIF THE LEAD IDEA PERSPRCTIVE. HE WAS CORRUPT TOO WHATEVER THE REASONS WERE ISN’T IT

I loved Kwon Sang Woo more in this drama… he portrayed Ha Do Ya very well… And of course, Go Hyun Jung really deserved the Daesang award she got in SBS Awards 2010 because she performed greatly as Seo Hye Rim.. The story is realistic. What amazed me most was the love of Do Ya for Hye Rim.. Such a wonderful love story for the lead characters
Other casts performed well too. I loved Cha In Pyo and Lee Soo Kyung! They were also awesome and amazing!

Ko Hyun Young, her face always looks tired, in all the dramas that she is in, including this one, even when she has makeup on. I don’t know why she is in all these dramas.

Most countries have corrupt politicians in all levels of government. This story explains it well. Power and greed is the theme. It is not the love for the people and the country that propels politicians, it is power and greed.

By the way, what is wrong with Ko Hyun Young lips?it looks like she gets collagen shots, her lips ate so puffy, they look unnatural.

I love this drama!! Very realistic, entertaining and touching
also loved KHJ and KSW’s characters. Do Ya was really a loyal, loving and caring to Hye Rim. Love love this drama forever 😍
