Synopsis
Joon-sang moves to a new high school in search for his biological father. Yu-jin and Sang-hyuk are close childhood friends, although Sang-hyuk wants to be more than a friend, Yu-jin sees him as a brother. On a trip together with other high school mates, Oh Chelin , Jin-suk and Yong-kuk , Yu-jin is saved after an accident by Joon-sang. They become close and she opens up his cold heart. However, circumstances and fate dictate that their love will never be. He abruptly disappears from their lives.
Ten years later, the old High School buddies gather to celebrate Yu-jin and Sang-hyuk’s soon-to-be wedding. Yu-jin, who was deeply in love with Joon-sang, still has a fire in her heart for him. But at the party, Oh Chelin’s new boyfriend arrives, who appears the same as Joon-sang.

Winter Sonata is the most popular koreanovela shown here in the Philippines, the two main characters captured hearts of so many filipinos here, watching them together really feels good, perfect pair as we may say, So many of us here are hoping to see them together in one great drama, for sure it will be a big hit. Like what Susan says, this series is one of the most love k-drama in the Philippines. For me, it got me started watching korean dramas. From then on, I’ve already watched over a hundred k-series since 2003.
I love to see them again in another future k-series. They look so good together. But for now, good luck to their careers. I think they’re indeed going places.

winter sonata is an amazing drama, you will find yourself unable to stop watching. the main couple is was really made for eachother, so you will suffer and enjoy along with them. choi ji woo was perfect and the scenary and the feeling that the whole drama transmit makes it the very best Kdrama I’ve ever seen.

Long drama serial that’s worth watching because of the eye candy and the story development that is gripping.

Winter Sonata was the first Korean drama I saw. It started my addiction to Korean dramas. I love Choi Ji Woo & Bae Yong Joon on this drama. Great performances. I’m an avid Choi Ji Woo fan. Saw all her dramas & movies that were available to me. I can’t wait to see “Air City” which will be aired this coming May. She’s a superstar & very beautiful.

I just fell in love with this love story drama. I can watch it over and over again. Choi and Bae are just perfect for the role. I’ve watch a lot of love stories such as Love Story, An Affair to Remeber, Love is a many splendored thing, Tender is the night, etc but nothing is better then Winter Sonata

i really like the flowing of the story…we know that bae yoon jung ang choi ji woo are one of the famuos artist in korea that’s why the story is full of emotions………i like endless love 2 so much but did you heard that there is endless love 2 which will aired in abs-cbn?this is also called spring waltz.
i think you will also like it…it is so touching and happy ending,even the main characters are new in showbizness but they are also great like bae and choi,they are deserving for their role… i hope you will like it to….thank you!!!!

If this is the first ofthe four season drama you have seen, you will love it!! I watched Winter Sonata first on AZN TV during its Korean wave season, then Autumn in My Heart, and then Spring Waltz. I haven’t seen Summer Scent. I loved the lead characters; they had such good chemistry with each other. The other two characters also did a great job. Though there were many dramatic elements, it was happy ending… this drama protrays real love!! I loved it a lot!!! I cried quite a few too when I was watching it with my mom. (side note: the scenery is so beautiful in the drama…) Good drama–you should watch it!! but, don’t watched it dubbed… subtitles are so much better. i watched some parts in vietnamese-dubbed… it was not good.
