    @Robyn
    I really don’t think they are internationally famous. They may be popular amount some, but not internationally famous. The two drama you mentioned were popular Japanese drama remade by Korea.
    Kdramas are not more popular than Hindi movies if anything they are neck and neck.

    Sharon Says:

    @ Robyn
    I have also posted my perspective and also believe my comments are credible as well.
    I really don’t know how a conversation between others has become a debate.
    Like I said I call a spade a spade and like mary stated previous look pass my comments when it’s posted.
    If there are so many task to balance and high priorities this conversation shouldn’t have happened.

  3. 378
    Robyn Says:

    @Sharon

    For the last time, I don’t care what you think because your first two sentences in comment 376 is wrong. There is evidence from fan made facebook accounts and fansites from different countries that show LMH and PSH’s popularity.

    STOP POSTING COMMENTS TO ME BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU ANYMORE!

  4. 379
    Robyn Says:

    @Sam

    Let’s leave this thread. Like you said, we can enjoy watching The Heirs regardless of other people’s comments. You also said that we have an army (family, friends, online users) who support our side of the argument. We don’t have to waste our time here anymore. Who cares what they think? We stick with our perspective and they stick with their viewpoints.

  5. 380
    Sam Says:

    @Robyn

    I was skimming through episode 2 of Heirs, but from what you suggested, I agree. Let’s leave this thread. I ‘ve said before that there’s no need to go around in circles to talk sense out of these people. I made my point with evidence and logic. I don’t care if they disagree because what I say is reasonable. If they post comments to argue with us. whatever! They’re just wasting time trying to convince us, but what they say don’t matter to me anymore. Starting now, I’m not gonna waste my time convincing them. I’m done explaning my perspective.

  6. 381
    Sharon Says:

    And another thing Bollywood star Shahrukh Kahn is considered to be the biggest movie star with billions of fans and the most viewed having been in over 70 films. He has been called one of the 50 most powerful people in the world by Newsweek and has been called “Perhaps the worlds biggest movie star period” by the LA Times. He has a wax statue at Madame Tussaud’s in the US and in England. I haven’t really seen that feat accomplished by a Korean movie star.

  7. 382
    Sharon Says:

    I am not bashing anyone just stating the facts.
    Have a good day/ night everyone PEACE!!!

  8. 383
    monique Says:

    @Sharon

    There’s no such thing as “the biggest movie star”. If he’s “that popular”, then why is he not famous in North America and a couple other countries?
    By the way, Lee Min Ho and Kim Hyun Joong both have wax figures at Madame Tussauds.
    From your conversation with robyn and sam, not everything you said were facts. You don’t know how popular LMH and PSH really are.
    I just want to let you know, but DO NOT POST MULTIPLE COMMENTS TO ME. I don’t want to stay on this thread either. BYE!

  9. 384
    roxanne Says:

    @Sharon

    Excuse me for interrupting. I just wanna point out something. Other Korean actors/singers who have wax figures at madame tussauds are Bae Yong Jun, Choi Siwon, Song Seung Hun, and Nickhun from the boy band 2PM.
    i’m watching Heirs because of lee min “hot” and he got my support. since I don’t want to get involved with online debates, I’m not gonna keep leaving comments here.

  10. 385
    Sharon Says:

    Here we go again!!!! Guess what I will talk to you tomorrow hold that thought.
    You know what!! That wax figure of LMH you spoke of is located in China!!
    Yes, he is popular in North America.
    Believe me when I say ” I will not, repeat, will not post multiple comments to you.”

  11. 386
    Sharon Says:

    Ok guys, back to basic
    Can’t wait for Heirs on Wednesday!!!

    dinaz Says:

    Whoah i just opened this page and saw all this..
    @sam344 and @robyn345 i do not know whether indian dramas are popular abroad or not..and it dosent matter to me coz they are not made by me..and i dont want to argue over which is more popular than the other..being an indian i find it a little offensive when u write something like that!!
    usa_mary and sharon were talking about indian dramas i just asked them if they want my suggestion for any indian drama/movie..i thought i could tell them better as an indian thats it..even though i have watched indian dramas my whole life my fav drama is bof..i love it too much!!i have been watching kdramas for the past 5years now..and really love everything about it..their culture,their script,everything..i even watch japanese,taiwanese dramas too..i would like to try more different dramas irrespective of which country its produced from..even in master sun thread i remember i asked for suggestion for some good taiwanese dramas..many replied to me..and such situations never arose!!we are watching heirs i know but while waiting for the next episode whats the harm in suggesting dramas to one another?
    i dont understand why is there even a comparison between korean and indian dramas/movies??

  13. 388
    dinaz Says:

    @usa_mary 359
    its nice to know that you enjoy hindi movies..try watching 3idiots,jab we met,munnbhai MBBS,bhool bhulaiyya,kal ho na ho..u will never regret watching them :) yup anyday u need suggestion do ask me.. :) btw once i did post a link for u in master sun thread about the topic of tofu and sea weed soup and why korean have them..hope u saw..it was an intersting article!
    and lee minho..just his face,smile melts me its been 3years already and it still works :) :) but yes regarding faith i too have the same feelings..really hoping that heirs story gets better with time i believe in the makers of this drama,hope they will make the script better with time :)
    @sharon364 lootera..oh i havent watched that as yet..ranveer is a complete turn off for me..lol..u can try the movies i suggested above and also ‘barfi,cocktail,fashion and rock on’ when you have time..i m glad to know indian movies are enjoyed in other countries too :) :)
    yes lmh clothes are really fashionable,he can carry off any colour well even orange,red..truly fashionable!!
    anyone watching secret here??is it worth trying?

  14. 389
    flower Says:

    secret is worth to watch….SECRET MUCH BETTER THAN HEIRS….try “giant” too,it is the best drama.

  15. 390
    Males Man Says:

    I think the director quite unfair enough by putting Krystal as adolescent girl, she’s far more beautiful than Kim Ji Won (probably most in the drama) and she should take as second role in the middle of PSH and Lee Min Ho………..

  16. 391
    Jyenie Says:

    @flower389
    Until now I still remember the love story of Jo Min woo(Joo Sang Wook) and Lee Mi Joo(Hwang Jung Eum) in Giant, so romantic and heart wrenching. Hmmmm.

    @Dinaz388
    Secret is very popular now. The set up is completed in ep1-6, the fun ride is going to begin in ep7!

  17. 392
    usa-mary Says:

    @dinaz-387: I agree with you re sharing drama info. It’s not like we’re advertising a business or something of that nature which I know is prohibited on this thread. I’m like…just skip my comment if it doesn’t float their boat or add wind to their sail. smile

    Really…I, too, watch Japanese, Taiwanese, lakorns (Thai), Mainland (Chinese), Hong Kong, and some Singaporean dramas (when I can find a good link with English subs). Our discussion makes me miss mysoju. That website had all of those, except the lakorns and some older dramas that were awesome.

    @dinaz-388: I’m going to write those down. No, I didn’t see what you posted about the tofu and seaweed soup. I’ll go look for it in TMS. Thank you.

  18. 393

    I ♥ Master's Sun Says:

    @flower #389

    I agree with you, Giant is one of the best drama ever!I must say Secret is good cos you can learn some valuable lessons and the 6eps really made me cry….
    ——

    I’ve watched the first 2eps of The Heirs so far the characters that I like are Kim Won and Choi Young Do….but I’m not really excited to watch the next episode cos it looks like this will be another You and Me against the world or Against All Odds kinda stuff just like Boys over flowers….but anyway its too early to tell if this one is good or not.Let’s see…I’ll continue to watch since I liked the previous works of the writer (Kim Eun Sook)and I loved most of her works :)

  20. 395
    kdfan Says:

    @dinaz 388 i love 3idiots so so funny n touching. Are the rest of your recomendation comedies? I love comedies. I shall search for them online n hope they are english subbed. Tq for the recommendation although it was for usa_mary. Me cant help swooning over LMH too, mesmerized by him more after each drama n now after each episode :)

    I ♥ Master's Sun Says:

    What I love about The Heirs are the places and the mansions sooo beautiful… . my dream house ♥♥♥

  22. 397
    Serena Says:

    @sharon
    Even though Lee Min Ho has American fans, he is not mainstream in North America. His co stars from BOF…Kim Bum and Kim Hyun Joong have American fans too, but they’re also not mainstream.

    @dinaz
    I’m not sure, but Sam and Robyn probably don’t know that you’re Indian. You dont need to feel offended. for example, when people criticize Chinese dramas, my Asian friends don’t get offended and they don’t care at all.

  23. 398
    Serena Says:

    @sharon 381
    The Indian actor you mentioned, he is not “the biggest movie star”. The so called nicknames mentioned in the news…who cares? The title is NOT official.
    I doubt he Shahrukh Kahn has “billions of fans” bcuz he’s not popular in some countries. Even though he has 70 films, he’s not more popular than Lee Min Ho or Jang Geun Suk, the Prince of Asia. Besides, there’s a Chinese actor named Andy Lau who has made more than 110 movies!…that’s more than Shakrukh Kahn did. He’s not more popular than the biggest Korean or Chinese actors/singers.

    I’m just telling you what I know, but I don’t want to have an ongoing debate because it gets annoying! Like you said above you won’t repeat or post multiple comments.

  24. 399
    Sharon Says:

    @Serena
    Let’s end this I am not in the mood. I say what I had to say and that’s that. So skip past my comments next time.

  25. 400
    dinaz Says:

    @usa_mary dnt worry i will post that article again..master sun thread has moved alot so it will be difficult to find..
    ya thats what we are just sharing some good info..its just like sharing some good book’s name..you watch those which i recommended you when ure free u will like them..if you need more do let me know :)

    @Jyenie i was thinking about secret..i think i must try that soon.i already have heirs and reply 1994 on my list.. :)
    @kdfan no not all are comedies—->munnabhaiMBBS,partner,dhamaal,masti are really funny your tummy will hurt :) :) kal ho na ho is happy and sad but its a must watch..
    @Serena hi :)
    if you see my comment341 i clearly wrote i am an indian and after that they wrote all that..newaz i m trying to ignore it!!jamie317 wrote a whole lot of unkind words about korean people even though i am not a korean i did feel bad and said something to him..sam and robyn should have said that to jamie and not to us..
    newaz lets forget about all these..
    let peace be upon this thread..and the cast is so goodlooking lets enjoy watching them :) and if we do recommend dramas/movies be it from whichever region lets not feel bad about it.. :) :)
