I love this drama, song il gook and han hye jun. but i only watched it once. now i think all copies with chinese subtitles are deleted, can’t find anything anymore… so sad. english subtitle ones are usually worse in quality so didnt bother searching for those…

The best Saegeuk story I have watched. I like the Jumong & Yi Suya love story. I hope to see another Sageuk with Song Il Gook & Song Ji Hyo.

Fantastic. Song II Gook, is the best actor that i have ever seen in this planet and beyond. He is smart in action,intelligent,bright,creative,loving,passionate,entertainer.Like kimchilee said,please,give us more and more drama with han hye – jin.Watching Song II Gook drama,gives me a peace of mind.Sincerely no words would explain best the magnificient characters of the cast

I am currently watching this drama and I have just completed episode 26. I love it! I have to say, though, that I find Prince Taeso most attractive! And I just love the facial expressions of Prince Youngpo. And don’t get me started on Mo Palmo….he is great! This is the first historical drama I have watched, and I am really enjoying it!!

I think this is the best Korean historical drama ever made. I was crying at the end though. It was so depressing at the end.

THE BEST EVER! and the reason why I came to love watching Korean movies and dramas… I am learning a lot in their dialogue… principles, values etc, etc.

What’s so special about Jumong? Firstly, its the acting skills of all the casts of Jumong and of course, the main ones being Jumong and Soesono. Next will be all those supporting casts like Daeso, the King and Queen and I love all the bodyguards who were also Jumong friends. Soesono had one lovely counsellor, Sayong was his name and his acting as a gay was also equally superb. Jumong series has everything, love, action, comedy and just about the right setting among the beautiful sceneries and culture. The fighting skills were superb especially the arrow skills by Jumong.
Well.. I’ve yet to see a series that equals Jumong. Let’s keep this thread increasing as there are some teenagers series catching up on Jumong lately.. like Mary stayed out all night or mischievous Kiss.. all these are for kids.. no depth in the storyline.. I’m proud that Jumong stayed on for many years now.. and still getting new fans like you!

I believe this drama received the grand prize Daesang Award, which is the most prestigious award in entertainment, not be Baeksang. Baeksang is a like the silver award while Daesang is gold. you can search for song il gook or jumong in wikipedia to confirm. also you can google Daesang and Baeksang to find out what these prizes are.
Yes, Jumong is very well made, the story line is excellent, it’s one of those you would sit at the edge of your chair watching and wonder what’s next. However, Kingdom of the Wind is not less interesting and very well made too. But i think people lover Jumong more because the character Juming is superior. His martial arts which he learns from his father Hae Mo Su is undefeatable. SIG is superb in all the roles he takes on.

aside from soseono & jumong, lovely pair, indeed…….political bickering, sibling rivalry, love triangle, loyalty, respect, love, humility, wisdom, patience, greed, cunning, shrewdness, superb storyline, the twist & everything, awesome fight scenes, a glimpse of old korea….you name it, JUMONG have it!!!…..that’s what makes JUMONG a great watch!!!……come to think of it, what was depicted (story & people) in JUMONG is happening today….just look around you…….

Hey guys, If this is true story then Hae Masu was Real Jumong and his skill were Powerfull. Jumong was a really Hero and Good Ruller who doosnt have panic. He deserve a crown.
