i really love watching jumong even thou i feel sleepy… i dnt want to miss any episodes of it, even my mader and fader make puyat just to watch every scene coz undeniably its a wonderful movie.
no kissing scene but the kilig factor is so intense not like the filipino dramas puro kising scenes lng ang ginagawa pra mgpakilig ng fans actually i hate it buti pa gayahin nila ang style ng korea. just a hug lng and smyls pero superduper nman ang effect sa mga fans.
I LOVE THE MOVIE MAKERS OF KOREANNOVELAS! ASTIG… I appreciate a lot sa JUMONG & JEWEL IN THE PALACE… and all koreannovelas kc simple lng, ANG FILIPINO MOVIEMAKERS walang sinabi…. vavooshh!

aside from the fact that i watched the aired jumong on t.v., i do watched pa my dvd… iba ksi if you watched it with tagalog version.. the translator in my dvd copy is quite not good…. every disc changes the name/spelling of the places and characters…
as a whole, i liked this korean novela… you can easily mirror the virtues of a good man… meron din kasing values na katulad ng pilipino eg love for mother, respect to the elders.
ayaw ko nood mga pilipino teleserye… kasi tagal matapos, padami pa ng padami characters… maybe our producer will make a film like this. more power! jumong.

Nung unang commercial nito sa GMA (as second to Jewel in the Palace), feeling ko wala lang.. Kasi hindi ako nanood ng Jewel. Dko alam bkit hndi aq ngandahan sa JEWEL although pure Kapuso tlga aq. Maybe it’s becoz actions and manly type ang taste k.
Hndi k pinanood ang JUMONG in its first episodes. But my younger brother, it’s his favorite as he also watched Jewel. Dahil s inaabangan tlga niya 2 every night, ganun din ang BF ko, pinanood ko na rin.. Curiously waiting kung ano bang meron sa JUMONG.
Well, sa ngayon, e2 n po aq, nagpupuyat gabi2. Khit gano pa kaaga pasok ksa skul, hndi ko pnapalampas si JUMONG, LADY SO-SEO-NOH, DAESU, SA-YHONG, lahat ng characters. Ni hndi nga ko nagpapautos sa tatay ko, kapag JUMONG na. Ayokong may pinapalampas na kahit isang word. Even the commercial, wlang kawala sakin.
Hindi na nga ma-erase sa isip ko si Sang II-Gook. Grabeh.. He’s my ideal guy. Ang hunky niya, ang galing niya umarte. Walang double-double sa fights and wars. Tlgang fit na fit sa kanya ang role. Kaya nga he’s awarded as Best Actor dahil sa role niya as Jumong. Sa unang tingin, napapangitan ako sa kaniya, but while ongoing, lalo siyang nagiging handsome, as in guwapo, hindi cute.(Isa yan sa mga dahilan kung bakit minsan mas gusto ang Koreanovelas. They role act in fighting unlike here in Philippines, bihira ka makakita ng actor na magaling sa martial arts at hindi nagpapa-double. Kumbaga mejo ayoko sa pa-cute effect lang ang alam.)
Maybe Sang II-Gook (Jumong) is the main reason why I watch this, coz siya talaga ang nagpapaganda ng istorya. Also, I love this becoz I Love true Historical Stories, and very inspiring about government aspects. Sana nga pinapanood ‘to ng mga pulitiko, para may mapulot silang mga diskarte at tamang pamamalakad sa bayan. Here in JUMONG, if you could notice, laging BAYAN ang pinapangalagaan nila. Maganda ang timing ng GMA kasi nearly election na.
Ang galing nga talaga ng GMA, kasi they immediately get this drama while still on air pa rin sa Korea. It has been finished I guess this March 5. Originally 60 episodes and been extended up to 80 because of sobrang popularity. Almost of the episodes are no.1 in the list. Karamihan ay nearly 50% ang ratings. Meaning in over 60 Million population of Korea, 30 Million were watching just for Jumong. Also, many countries ordered JUMONG. (Just see Wikipedia and IMF for basis.)
Here, naghahanap ng site na may summary of every episodes. Ayoko nga sana bumili ng DVD eh kc hindi na’ko mae-excite sa palabas sa GMA, tsaka, feeling ko hndi ko ganong mananamnam kpag Korean ang language. Pero mukhang hindi ko na matitiis. Maybe bukas, baka bumili na talaga ako ng DVD.
Hay.. JUMONG really captivated my heart. This next weeks, maybe Im gonna starting making JUMONG as my theme in friendster, my PC, school ID, all my webpages, websites and blogs.
But before that, has anyone here bought DVD with English subs? or Tagalog? Bka bumili na rin aq, baka kasi hindi ko na rin matiis at d mkpaghintay.
Jumong rulez!!! Sa mga nagtataka kung bakit maraming naaadik d2 (like me), wag na kayong magtaka kasi sa Korea pa lang, nagkalat na ng epidemia ang Jumong. It’s the first, placing JEWEL as 3rd only, ganun po katindi.

i am so amaze to jumong but i feel so sad when soseono left him for good and left buyeo and move to south… but base on the last episode it is jumong who is the best among all and he defeated daeso… daeso thinks he can defeat jumong but he is totally wrong about it… now jumong defeat daeso but then he has no way to get our from the infected or wounded part of his body thats why at the age of 41 he die and given the throne to youli… this story is great and i am totally amaze…
i learn alot from this movie also… i enjoy it and i would like to thanks them also for that knowledge…. may god bless you jumong and your the best for me…

at first i thought it will be boring because this series is really long, but i must say it’s really very good! i thought dae jang geum was the best show around, but jumong proved me wrong. jumong really rocks!

Hehe, asar lang sa the end ng jumong. Si wuyi loveless pa din. Hindi na nagpakita si buyong habang buhay nyahaha! Pero ang pinakamalungkot sa lahat, si jumong at soseono nagkahiwalay din sa huli dahil sa mga pesteng anak pangarap ng mga anak ni soseono at yotae. (ang papangit kasi kamukha ni yotae
) Actually nagkatuluyan naman si jumong at soseono nung mga bandang kalagitnaan na ng kwento. Kaso, nagbalik yung unang asawa ni Jumong (ahihihi, babaero talaga). Ayaw naman ni soseono na maging Jumong-Daeso-Yangpo ang mga anak nila. kaya ayun tsumupi na sya at gumawa ng sarili nilang bansa sa south. About naman kay sayong, ayun wala ng gaganda pa sa hair nya dahil talagang mukha na syang babae. D lang uso nakapaldang bading nun nyahaha! pero abangan nyo nakakakilig talaga sila ni kulot. Tapos si Youli nga pala, anak ni jumong ang nakapatay kay Daeso. Ed syempre, obvious naman, alang anak si Daeso so si Yangpo rin ang naging hari sa kabila ng kamangmangan nya. basta, napakagandang story. Marami pa kayong malalaman. kulang pa mga sinabi ko, kasi ang mga exciting na mga scenes na aabangan nyo eh yung mga suspense and twist dun sa story. Mas maappreciate ninyo yung story pag sinubaybayan nyo kung pano nangyari lahat. Ako man, wala akong pinalampas na episode dahil every character and bawat sinasabi nila e importante. ganun ka sobrang may sense yung story walang palalampasin

Hanggang episode #71 pa lang dito sa Los Angeles, California. Ang maganda lang dito hindi tambak and commercials at umaabot ng isang oras and drama. It’s being shown here every Mondays/Tuesdays. Like you said, Jumong is probably the best I have seen second ang Sad Love Song, pero maraming mga Korean TV dramas na baduy at nakakainis ang storyline dahil parang iniinsulto ang IQ ng mga nanood.

Paganda ng paganda ang Jumong!For me,this is the best koreanovela so far! honestly,hindi me mahilig sa koreandrama kasi hindi ko kilala ang mga cast at medyo corny minsan yong ibang series kasi puro pacute at pakipot. But when Jumong hit Manila..it was like some kind of storm na mahirap pigilin sa sobrang lakas at sobrang gwapo ng bidang si Song Il Gook at very talented!
