Synopsis
“Magnitude is about to start.”
You are about to go back to the time of Goguryeo, a time which was bigger than now.
‘A time when our nation was the most beautiful’, ‘A time when our nation was the center of the world’. Have you ever met such a time?! dares to journey into a time no one has ever gone back to. The most surprising time in history has come back 2000 years later, a time when the nation made China fall down to their knees and when we fought other nations without any fear.
Meet a hero bigger than the myth.
Alexander, Genghis Khan, we have the hero who overwhelmed his generation and changed history, Jumong! Up to now we have been used to dramas dealing with the history of kings and knights but now we are about to challenge in creating a drama with the birth of a true hero. A name only remembered as a myth. Get ready to meet Jumong, the hero who opened up the skies of the Old Joseon, which was once ours, by fighting thousands and thousands of armies.
Meet the love even bigger than the history.
‘Love’ seems to be the one common denominator across people of all generations and nations. ‘Love’ gets swept away with the waves of time and also gets hurt with biased views in societies, but it also creates a new kind of history by wrestling against adversity and the trials of time. True love, which is uncommonly seen in history, is re-drawn through the drama of our once forgotten history.

I’ve watched Jumong long time ago….wouldn’t mind to watch it all over again. It’s very long, yet worth it!! Always love historical drama and especially with SIG in it. After watching this, don’t miss The Kingdom of the Winds. It’s SIG as Jumong’s grandson. For me, this is the best Kdrama of all time.

its been a quite a while since I last visited this website.. i am so glad it is still one of the top dramas.. yes to everyone who has watched Jumong, it is still one of the best drama we’ve seen .. none can match it yet.. even Kingdom of the Wind.. the story and casts there (except SIG of course) have yet to match Jumong’s casts and storyline.. superb, splendid, beautiful and well choreograph.. SIG and Soesono played the best part of it.. i hope these 2 will be casted together once more on a more happier ending together.
good luck!

this stories ending is heart breaking…….so seo no…jumong’s true love had to suffer…well both had to suffer…becoz of the past mistakes that they did….this had reflected towards their future..jumong should have not taken revenge for that young boy…when he knew fully weell that his so called brothers would use every opourtunity to kill him…and so seo no….placed under presure by prince daisu….should have left for..juben or her village…when her father told her so…but instead she make a foolish mistake of marrying bodyguard…and hence…the heart break kept on rolling..by…i had watched episode.. where soseono.had come to ask help from jumong…so i had not known their history…when i knew i was lke …how can you stand..it..helping the wife of the guy you love ,your soulmate…but its in her character…they are both morally..good people and they always put others before them…but it was at the price of true happiness and love….

Hi all,
After watching Jumong, I have tried to see different comments and views if they match with my feelings and appreciation of this drama. I was speechless after watching the last episode 81. How sade this story is and how terrible love can be crual. I had sade feelings like everyone about Jumong and Soseono fate. How this can be?
Sometime, I felt like Jumong and my heart was broken when I saw Soseono married to his BodyGuard! She deserved the best of the best, she deserved Jumong!
Even Jumong drama was aired in 2006, it’s still popular today in 2011!!! Even 81 episodes are not enought…!
Jumong died 5 months after Soseono left and once Yuri became King. This is the most sadness real story I have ever seen…! BTW, I’m from Canada and this is the first time I have watched Korean drama.
Keep sending your comments on Jumong’s drama. This keep me live this story…
