Synopsis
Goong is a story about young love in face of tradition, politics, and intrigue. In the imaginary world, modern-day Korea is a constitutional monarchy and the Royal Family lives in a grand Palace, the Goong. Story opens with the sudden death of the reigning the King. Faced with the decreasing popularity among the public for the Royalty, a grand wedding for the Crown Prince, Lee Shin, is decided to be the best publicity move to improve the image of the Royalty and at the same time prepare Shin for immediate succession. The intended bride? The headstrong, awkward, and sweet spirited Shin Chae Kyung that just happens to go to the same exclusive art school. Chae Kyung was betrothed to become the next Crown Princess by her grandfather and Shin’s grandfather.
After 14 years of living in England with his mom, Lee Yul appears all of a sudden. He is Shin’s cousin as well as the former Crown Prince. Everything seemed to be going normally until Chae Kyung’s optimistic spirit wins the heart of internally lonely, Yul. As the Crown Prince Shin and simple-minded Chae Kyung’s relationship appear to developing deeper feelings, a series of scandals are exposed to the public right after the pair were officially announced married. Will love prevail all in a world of political pressures and martial hardships? Or will being in the spotlight of the public be too much for the young newlyweds to endure?

i bought this series and i love it soooo much….very different from the other series i’ve bought….hope this will be shown here in the philippines and i hope gma 7 will air this…..nice job to all the cast…..aja aja fighting!

i have watch this series n i really adore it!!
it is a nice and happy drama but it also has sad part in it.
i hope eun hye will act more and more again. i like her very much..
also with prince xin bun..haha..

I’m not yet sure but there are rumours that princess hour two would omit some of the season 1 cast. I hope not…
Anyway this series is so great i cant wait for the second season to be exported here in the philippines…
Season 2 would be released march 2007…

This drama is really good. They mix in that subtle humor with the seriousness of the drama. Kim Jeong Hoon is an awesome actor and I think Yoon Eun Hye did a better job acting out her role here than in the Vineyard Man. Not that there was much of a difference, but her character suited her. Overall, I give this drama 8 out of 10. And like everyone else, I hope Goong 2 will keep the original cast. Looking forward to watching it!

the story has its hilarious moment, sad moment funny moment sweet moment! i love this movie a lot. i was actually expecting more for the ending though. but nevermind. it is still worth it!

I think everybody, including myself, loves Goong 1. I am just saddened that the orginal cast won’t be in “Goong 2″. I thought it’s gonna be a continuation of one of the most love k-series in 2006. I have nothing against the cast of “Goong 2″, but I just wish that since the original cast isn’t there anymore, the producer should change the title altogether, so that “Goong 1′ can preserve it’s originality and popularity, without others banking on it.

I found this show was very boring. I read the manga long before knowing that it would be adapted into a television show, and so when I did find out it was going to be made into a drama I was excited. Unfortunately, the show wasn’t very good. The costumes and settings were very pretty, but other than that, the acting was just blah and the pace of the drama was VERY SLOW. So slow in fact, that it made the drama dull and nothing special.

dis ish another korean drama dat i lye..the settings,costumes ‘n’ storyline are very new “n” interesting.. Eun Hye ish very adorable “n” bubbly in the show..the “princes” in the show are wondeful!!both are good-looking “n” have acted well in their respective roles… this show ish very funny “n” i really look forward to the sequel wif the original casts!!! AJA!AJA!!!

This film was so great i really enjoyed watching it. It’s nice that this film is now here in the philippines. All cast are amazing especially the main cast
Shin Chae-kyung (Janelle), Lee Shin (Prince Gian), Lee Yul (Prince Troy),
Min Hyo-rin (Monique). The episode 16 is nice i really love it. I Hope they would have a chance to visit here in the Philippines and I’m hoping that it will have a Goong part 2 and the cast will still remain in the film.

princess hours is a totally different drama from all the korean drama that i have watch. this drama include everything such as family, friends, trustful, responsibility, and more that you can realise after you watch this drama.

i love princess hours, i finish watching and i very very like it!!! its all about a high school who had marry a prince, and the romance and comedy of yoon eun hye and Joo Ji Hoon its very natural.
