    KDaddict Says:

    @Jennie,
    Hi there, wave back! Good to see u again!
    I’ve actually gotten more picky as time goes on, n watching Less KD. I’m getting better at letting go of a drama if it bothers me. I used to hold on till the bitter end, n get myself all worked up.
    Melos r really Not my thing, but I love IMY to distraction. Somehow the plot makes sense to me. And the acting is superb all around. Poor Micky looks so tired at the end. I sure hope he is enjoying himself in Cuba as he said he wanted to do.
    As for this one, well, the official poster w KSW all teary eyed, is enough to scare me away. But I hear that there r many shirtless scenes, so I might drop by just to check that out! Hee.

    @saraSJS,
    Can u tell me where the shirtless scenes r? In ep 1?
    If KSW is shirtless, who cares if he is acting cute?

    kimchilee Says:

    Hey! KDaddict! you’re here as well!

    Shirtless scenes are in Ep 2. hee hee! boy o boy! KSW still look as hot as ever and did not aged at all.. but its rather an unbelievable kind of drama, this one is.. I dont understand why KSW is so obsessed with Soo Ae (SA).. it was also somewhat spoilt by the fact that they could also have a child together even though they are so poor.. I dont know.. I miss You is more realistic. Its somewhat like Nice Guy which I did not really enjoy cos the whole story seem somewhat flat. If its not for SJK.. I’d certainly skipped Nice Guy.

    I’m willing to watch this QoA and see how it goes cos I am having a wee bit of withdrawal symptom after IMY drama.. looking around for something good.. only School 2013 comes close to IMY for its good story / dialogues.

    @KDaddict
    In ep 2 he starts to be a gigolo. So he is FORCED to take off his shirt. His body is really amazing. But his type of body is not my style. He ‘s more like athletes. Specially his back muscles. When i was watching his shirtless scene, i felt it was a sport completion. To me he is not sexy at all. LMH’s long beautiful body with that sexy waist is my style even with clothes on.

    saraSJS Says:

    @kimchilee
    Agree with you. I don’t know why he is so in love with her either. She’s neither extremely sexy and beautiful nor romantic and kind. The childhood flash back and orphanage story is not enough to persuade the viewers. We knew the reason behind JW ‘s deep love or HJ’s possessive love for SY. The childhood story was written greatly. But here what kind of love we are facing with?

  5. 55
    KDaddict Says:

    @saraSJS, @kimchilee,
    KSW is famous for 2 things: being able to cry on cue n for having the best body among K actors. I guess that means well developed and well toned muscles. Is it like a Mr. Universe competition? Not quite. Most women find it ‘sexy’. Young girls may be into a different type, say Enrique’s.
    At this pt, I’m only here to find out abt his ‘body beautiful’ scenes. Will check out ep 2 today. Thx.
    School 2013 is fantastic. Too bad only 1 ep left. I’ll miss it for sure.
    I’m watching 7th GCS n enjoying it. I recommend it.

    Kwon Sang Woo latest movie is CHINESE ZODIAC 2012 (CZ12)

    JACKY CHAN MOVIE watch him ….. GREAT MOVIE !!!

  7. 57
    KDaddict Says:

    I skipped Ep 1 n go straight for Ep 2.
    Ep 2:
    Oh shit! I can’t handle reality that’s that harsh! I watch KD for escapism. I know that the human “meat market” is terrible, but…… I haven’t even gotten to the shirtless scene, n I scurry away like a scared mouse!
    Also, I’ve forgotten how much I like KSW, fr his early KDs like Stairway to Heaven. He still looks just as wonderful. I don’t think I’ve the stomach for this, to see him suffer n teary eyed the whole way thru the end of the series!

    @hanna,
    Thx for the recommendation. I’ll check it out.

    unknown unknown Says:

    I have finished episode 4. Kwon Sang Woo/Ha Ryu’s role is too sad, too sad. And all don’t know for what! Maybe it was his fate that he had to live his life in misery for the female lead – fate is the only way to explain it, I guess.

    This feels like a very depressing show. I will continue for a couple of episodes more to see if there will be any turning point.

  9. 59
    Andy Says:

    I do not like that actress Suh Ae in anything but since the main actor is in this drama, I will watch it. I do not think she is pretty at all but she does play someone you want to hate. Hated her in Athena and a Thousand Say’s promise. She rubs me the wrong way.

  10. 60
    Andy Says:

    About unknowns comment before mine: you have to understand that Koreans like to make their actors play characters that go thru a lot of suffering. You get mad at the actor for putting up with so much crap ( literally) but I guess, being that Koreans are so emotional, they just love all that stuff. You want to punch and shake the character and ask why they are that stupid for putting up with all that stuff ( specially abuse from their parents) but that must be in their genes.

  11. 61
    kimchilee Says:

    @KDaddict / saraSJS

    Yeah.. I find no basis for KSW’s great love for SA.. too much suffering our dear KSW has to go through.. I stop this drama the moment SA started feeling ashamed of KSW’s job and him in total.. esp when he started doing a silly thing by moving her to another high class apartment!! Ridiculous! which man would do that! A bit overboard drama this one is.. so.. i have stopped watching.. will come back to this when i have absolutely nothing to watch.

    oh..but I do love the way KSW has been keeping fit and young.. too bad he has been making the wrong choices for dramas after Stairways..

    hope to see both of you in other websites.. will try civil servant as recommended! cheers!

  12. 62
    KDaddict Says:

    I checked out KSW’s new movie w Chinese Zodiac. As w all Jackie Chan movies, JC is in every frame. KSW is in abt 4! His is basically a non-speaking role, unfortunately. He looks mighty hot tho, in the fleeting seconds that we can see him.
    I loved KSW in Stairway to H, Into the Sun, n Bad Love Song. I skipped Bad Love bcos of its title, I guess. Cinderella Man, I didn’t finish for it seems draggy. Daemul didn’t do anything for me. It wasn’t exciting. And now this!
    Too bad we r getting a crop of KDs w stupid heroes n nasty heroines!

  13. 63
    kimchilee Says:

    @KDaddict,
    You should watch KSW in Sad Love Story.. it is sad but I think he looks good there too. the story is not bad except for the way it ended as the title suggested. I hated Bad Love and as usual, KSW’s good acting was wasted in another disastrous drama. Cinderella Man could have been a great story if not for a lot of draggy parts and incompatible pairing.. Like you, am not able to finish it. Daemul sort of made me gave up watching KSW drama bec every drama he acted practically has a sad ending or boring. Likewise, this one.. i am also scared to watch it.

  14. 64
    Lovemoon Says:

    @Andy–I agree with you 100%. I only watched a few ep of Athena, a Thousand Say’s promise, and now this one. I don’t think she is bad actress but I just can’t stand watching her.
    @Kimchilee/KDaddict–I agree with you about KSW, our main actor. I use to love him at Stairways but since he comes back. Whatever he picked I only watched a few ep. only like Cinderella Man, Daemul and now this one. I give up after watching the first 2 ep.
    I drop by here to read all of your comments to see whether I may change my mind on this one. I think I will pass this one again based on both main actor and actress. SAD.

  15. 65
    unknown unknown Says:

    I like Kwon Sang Woo and have watched all his shows and he is acting very well in this drama too. This is a super pathetic role, the whole drama so far is just very very sad for him. After 6 episodes, more than 360 minutes, and there was not a single time that I, as a viewer, can smile a little at anything in the show – it was that frustrating. The storyline is not draggy though and there is definitely a twist coming so I will continue to watch until perhaps I can’t bear watching any more…

  16. 66
    arsenia Says:

    dont like the actress on this drama

  17. 67
    KDaddict Says:

    @kimchilee,
    I watched Sad Love Song, only I called it Bad Love Song, after this site. That was OK. Don’t think KSW has gotten a good script in a long time!
    The guy is famous for his ability to cry, but he should really try to act in sth less weepy, less pathetic!

    @unknown2,
    Why force yourself? Life is short! ;)
    That twist may or may not come. Or it may not be enough of a payoff: He is gonna be a prosecutor; he’ll help her be 1st lady, his own wife, mother of his child, sb he put thru college working as a gigolo! What twist would make that worthwhile for him n for us??

    Glad to see that there r ppl who write that they don’t like the actress. I don’t either, n I can’t figure out why! So happy to see that others feel the same way!

  18. 68
    unknown unknown Says:

    Hello @KDaddict #67

    There isn’t a lot of other choices these days since I dropped Horse Doctor (after watching 25 episodes) and The Great Sear (after 20 episodes). I also like Kwon Sang Woo and hope that with the twist in the plot (there is a twin sibling angle in the drama(!)), the storyline will get a bit exciting later. :-)

    I have just finished Cheongdamdong Alice but refrain from posting comments there. Did you finish watching it too?

  19. 69
    sangjhoon Says:

    @#66 I agree i never like that actress even from her previous projects like love letters etc. Her role here makes me wanna puke (pyuk) she’s evil & ha ryu who is super kind but sorry to say pabo & mitchoosoo crazy in luv with her, he shld wake up!

    @andy too i agree i never liked soo ah i dunno, i’m sorry there’s something in her i guess & yeah she’s not that pretty so i dunno why that doon ha? guy likes her let alone ha ryu who is crazy about her!

  20. 70
    sangjhoon Says:

    so kwon sang’s role here again is much like the other drama where he’s got a twin in cinderella man which i hvnt finished watching! this drama is far more better than dameul in my opinion! i didn’t even finish that one!

    also if you guys hvnt seen him in the movie with lee bo young u must see that one too it’s a nice movie titled more than blue, the ost is nice too

  21. 71
    kimchilee Says:

    Help Me! Help Me! I am like a wondering soul looking for an absorbing goooood K-drama to sink in as I did in IMY.. there’s none so far for me .. School ’13 just ended.. couldnt finish watching CDDA, Seer, Civil Servant or anything.. cant stand Dok Mi’s irritating acting in FBNDoor..

    Coming back to this drama, they probably pick KSW in this drama bec he can cry naturally..but gawd..does he have to be so pathetic! I think the part when they brought in the kid into this drama quite spoil the whole plot for me in a sense that it seems too fast into the plot for a kid to be around their already sad and poor life. I just came back to this website just to read the threads here but still cannot bring myself to watch it.. aah.. KSW..I feel so sad for you.

  22. 72
    KDaddict Says:

    @kimchilee,
    Good morning! U r up early!
    Nothing absorbing at the moment. Maybe when “That Winter” starts, it’ll give us sth to sink our teeth into. 2 more weeks. Time to rehash some old KDs!

  23. 73
    KDaddict Says:

    Oh, yes. Incarnation of Money starts tonight. Hope it’ll be good.

    Can you tell me in which ep the twin appears?

  24. 74
    ance Says:

    I wanted to try this drama but i’ve also just finished catching up 3 melos straight like The Snow Queen, Autumn’s Tale & School 2013 (though not really a melo but it’s full of problems) so at the moment i’m still sad and hearbroken (from Snow Queen & Autum’s Tale) so i’m looking for a light drama…I got excited seeing familiar names in this thread but when i saw the comments i got discourage coz it’s another heavy drama, and i don’t think my heart can still take another one like this…i’ll pass for now but i’ll check this out eventually…hope you guys enjoy!

    any suggestions for a RomCom even if it’s an old drama?

  25. 75
    Kurayuzaki666 Says:

    I bet the story is now becoming interesting, that’s why ratings INCREASE!
