Synopsis
Based on the webtoon titled ‘I Watch Him Every Day/나는 매일 그를 훔쳐본다‘ which was Published from 21/June/2011~17/July/2011.
This is a drama about a girl, Go Dok Mi (Park Shin Hye) who is a shut-in Miss Lonelyhearts type, who spends her days spying on the man living in next building. She is caught spying by her other neighbor, Enrique Geum (Yoon Shi Yoon). Meanwhile, Oh Jin Rok (Kim Ji Hoon) is the man who notices her from long ago, and knows everything about her and will fall in love with her.
Go Dok Mi is a ′city Rapunzel′ who never ventures outdoors, yet has her own set of charms that makes men go weak. Oh Jin Rok is a scruffy manhwa artist. Enrique Geum is a genius creative director, who is good-looking, stylish and bohemian and can′t get enough of soccer. He will form a love line with Go Dok Mi.

just asking, how come the synopsis said that “go dok mi spends her days spying on the man living next door, oh jin rok’? cause if you will watch the episode 1 of this series, dok mi is spying on han tae joon who is living on the next building, not on the next door.

The synopsis is incorrect. Park is spying on Tae Joon, Yoon caught her spying, and Kim notices her from long ago, and knows everything about Park and will fall in love with her. Of course, triangle among Park, Yoon and Kim.

So lovely drama i feel warm Park Shin Hye is playing Dok Mi so elegantly: quiet and subdued and vulnerable, and she actually looks tired and frazzled. It was a great move to cast her, because she’s so expressive in her face and in her movements, and you need an actor with those skills, I think, when you’re dealing with with a show like this that has this gentle duality of, like, bright colors and upbeat music, but also a lot of quiet moments and some real sadness that’s going to be explored. I’m so glad they aren’t underplaying the fact that she’s a recluse, that they’re not making it out to be some quirk, and I can’t wait until we find out more about her past and her reasons for choosing to live as she does.

Park Shin Hye’s suddenly became an interesting actress.
The show is peppy yet there’s just the right touch of melancholy. What a strange combination. I think I’ll be sitting in this drama the whole way through.

Delightful drama and great cast. Both episodes had me ROFL and I just love the over dramatization of some scenes in the drama – the introduction scene of Oh Jin Rok and his friend (ala Better Tomorrow style), the awed expressions of the air hostess and immigration trainee when they see Enrique’s face, then Dok Mi being caught spying by Enrique together with the TVB/HK famous tune in the background -priceless. I look forward to the next episodes with much anticipation.

Loved two first episodes. Although the pace is a bit slow in first half of ep 1 but as it continues you will be absorbed in the story. For now Enrique is the most adorable and attractive character. My dear YSY now is a mature actor and much more pretty than before. PSH is showing a better performance than HS too. It seems script wise this story is better than FBRS. Darling YSY’s smile at the end of ep 2 kills me. Great.
