Synopsis
Jeon Woo Chi is a classical novel of unknown origin dating to the Joseon era that tells the story of a free-wheeling, mischievous Jeon Woo Chi, who swallowed the gumiho’s fox bead, which gave him powers of Taoist magic. He uses those powers to save the poor, oppressed people and becomes a hero.
Cha Tae Hyun plays the Taoist wizard Jeon Woo chi and Uee plays the role of Hong Moo Yeon who is a princess, the granddaughter of Hong Gil Dong, and the love interest of Jeon Woo Chi. Meanwhile, Lee Hee Joon take the role of Kang Rim, who is Woo chi’s nemesis, the dark Taoist wizard and all-around scary mofo. (Dramabeans)

They’ve miscast Uee. Her assets are good acting and beautiful long legs. Here, her legs are hidden and will remain hidden (period drama) and she’s a friggin’ zombie. Geewiz guys.

Maybe i’m bias but i highly recommend Jeon Woo Chi movie 2009 by Kang Dong Won and i promise you will not be disappointed,it has some humor,full of action and amazing fighting act and of course its because of Kang Dong Won.You can go to dramacrazy.net to watch it.I haven’t seen this drama yet but i can already tell that i’m not as eager because of the main lead actor.

I thought this drama would be really funny. But eps 1 & 2 are somehow strangely un-engaging.
I think there are just way too many chars besides Jeon Woo Ji n his nemesis, Kang Rim: there is the Ma Pu gang; their rival gang; the wizard tiger hunter; the 2 monks who look for him; the girl who is Jeon’s sister but really isn’t; Jeon’s other rival, the newspaper editor; And hen Uee, who only drifts in n out.
The camera just doesn’t spend enough time on any of them for us to get to know anybody, much less care.
By the middle of ep 2, I walk away n have little interest in the series anymore.
This is when I’m so stressed out by Nice Guy n Missing you, n have been looking fwd to this n to Cha Tae Hyun w gt anticipation. A lousy director sure ruins a show every time!!

same here, the first two episodes found to be not interesting. I think it could be the main actor, and yet the storyline is somewhat stagnant. The writer need to focus more on jeon woo chi instead of giving more airtime for the villain. Hopefully the storyline will improve.

For a series that looks like it’d be really interesting, you know with Cha Tae Hyun, wizards, swords, hero n princess, it is turning out not to be.
For 5 eps, you have 2 guys standing around fighting each other with magical balls of air, trying to protect a girl who is totally out of it! How stale!
What a waste of Cha Tae Hyun!

The movie is really interesting, I particularly enjoy the comedy part in ep 3, the magical ball fighting is not too bad rather entertaining, but the magical spell of U Chi is tiring to the ear, he should be using more than one!
