Synopsis
This drama is a melodrama that will portray a story of a teenage couple who fall in love and get painfully separated, and then meet again as adults by playing game of love hide and seek.
Han Jung Woo (Park Yoochun) has been a homicide detective for 2 years and he is looking for his childhood love. Lee So Yeon (Yoon Eun Hye) is a fashion designer and often dream of Han Jung Woo searching for her…
Meanwhile, Kang Hyung Joon (Yoo Seung Ho) is a cold-hearted, charismatic fund manager, who tries to take revenge on Han Jung Woo because of the troubled relationship within their family.

what? why the ratings is so low? thatis not a good ratings for the premiere. Even other melodramas that were airing at the same time FIVE FINGERS and MAY QUEEN passed 10% and reached 6th at their premiere.

Huft, i’m afraid that this drama has unsatisfied rating. Seem like lie to me. Its has amazing cast like kang ji hwan and YEH, but unfortunately the rating is bad. . .

Story as presented in Ep 1 has makjang aplenty!

On The girl’s, Soo Yeon’s side:
Her father beats her n her mother. He is a convict w a long list of offenses. He is arrested and put to death for 2 murders. Neighbors hound her n her mother, n school mates hound her becos of her murderer father. Only we find out fr a detective that he has been wrongly accused n executed for those murders! What role will the guilt-ridden detective play in her life?
On the boy’s, Jung Woo’s side:
JW’s mother is not his biological mother. So it is his step-mom, who is not at all pleased that her husband trusts JW but not her.
JW’s father Tae Joon also has his own stepmother who is close to TJ’s age. Step-mom has a son who is younger than Jung Woo. Father n Step-mom are engaged in a fight to the death over inheritance from JW’s grand-father, a chaebol boss. Step-mom’s son Kang Hyung Joon, is JW’s young uncle. Step-mom’s son is grandpa’s son, so he should have the same surname of Han. Looks like he not only has his inheritance taken from him but also his surname. He’ll grow up to exact revenge from JW.
Opening sequence n synopsis:
JW grows up to be a detective. We see him rushing to rescue Soo Yeon. There is a gunshot. JW gets it in the head. He falls down on the ground, w a tear running down his cheek! How does one survive a gunshot wound to the head? Will he live????
That’s a whole lot of makjang, revenge, n misery, on all sides. I think you’ll love this show if you love to “cry you a river”.

yeah i’m very cautions is the lead role suicide ughn that bad ending, but think about that, is seems the story line on first episode is very slow hope on next-next episode writer can speed his story line, story line seems strong,. But i really aware if role male suicide maybe that’s could be ? like equator man when you also see the second lead pointed his gun on the father male lead. Hope it’s like that.
But some it’s suspicious behind this story about who is bad and who is good that not be clear on first episode.

Hmm. Too many tearjerkers these days and this one is the drop of water that has made the vase overflow: Everything screams depressing. Except the loyal fans of the actors, who wants to watch this? I love Yoo Seung Ho as an actor but I would never watch this, even for him.

I thought Tae Joon’s step-mother is expecting too much help fr her husband’s nurse, who hides Hyung Joon fr the claws of TJ, and is being expected to kidnap JW in addition. What nurse will want to put herself in such danger? Ah, a nurse who wants her mistress’s money that is in the Swiss deposit box for herself! So there is another Big bad (OK Small bad) wolf on the scene! JW n Soo Yeon together save HJ from a little house that has been set on fire? SY shows him much kindness n tells HJ her name. How much you wanna bet that HJ will grow up to remember her, n love her?
Soo Yeon’s mom finds a safe haven in the home of Detective Kim, who accepts them on acct of his guilty conscience. JW follows SY around n it is clear that they r falling in love, at 15!
Only Detective Kim also has a 15 yr old daughter, who
falls for JW at 1st sight! I don’t blame her, cos I’d too, but that’s your Love triangle, firmly made.
So on 1 side, you have,
JW and his step-uncle HJ both loving SY, but HJ wanting to erase JW from the face of the earth.
On the other side, u get:
SY n her so-called “step-sister” what’s her name, both loving JW!
This looks like a perfect makjang set-up, a lock-in to the death.
If you think this is bad, the preview looks worse!! I don’t even have the heart to detail it.
But Boy, do I enjoy watching Yeo Jin Gu! I think I’ll re-watch these eps many times just for his performance.
Micky makes an appearance at the end of ep 2. He says:
I’ll wait for you today, just today. If this goes on, I will go out of my mind.
