Synopsis
This family drama will tell the story, love, hate, reconciliation and relationship between a father who separates with his daughter.
Seo Yeong (Lee Bo Young) is a tough woman who tries to escape the harsh life of poverty with a strong passion to gain success, overcome her lower status and rise in society. On the road to fullfill her dream, She cuts ties with her poor family and incompetent father (Chun Ho Jin) who still love his daughter despite her bitterness.

@poonie, @kdfan & @Micc Yay for the ending. I have been grinning from ear to ear since watching the final episode. It is such an awesome ending – we were just hoping for a happy ending and wow, we definitely got so many presents, didnt we? Is it Christmas? Or my birthday?
Yes, @kdfan, I love Writer So too- she rewarded us with so much – a double wedding, a baby and twins on the way…that’s how all endings should be!! I will definitely look out for Writer So’s next project!
Btw, I saw that episode on Happy Together too and those two look so good together that I wish I could ship them in real life. I think if I were LBY, I’ll pick LSY over JS – love love that smile of his and he’s taller too

@Jennie i think LSY is so cute with that adorkable smile but i perhaps JS is a better half for LBY bec she mentioned he does cute stuff and surprises for her. I think LSY is a thinker, serious A type whereas JS is more cheerful and fun, seems more compatible with LBY’s personality. I will wait for the subs and enjoy another 3 weeks of the show. Can’t let it go yet

I think my favourite MBC drama 2013 is a hundred years inheritance this drama, looks like my favourite a hundred years
inheritance this drama got strong hope,to push up and fight and get rating the first……

one of the most touching dramas in years. some parts had me crying out loud and couldn’t stop. i think i only cried out loud over 2 other kdramas thru all the years. i like Lee bo young but what really makes this drama good is the script. well worth the good tv ratings and definitely recommended

I love this drama tho it’s my first time to watch a drama that I hate the main lead character lol!not totally hate Seo Young cos somehow I do understand her but is it hard to forgive and to forget?I cried cos her father is so pitiful guess he done everything just for his daughter to forgive him…isn’t it enuf?do he need to die so his daughter will forgive him?tho I’m only on ep 15 now but I can truly feel the pain that her father is suffering.:( But I still like Lee Bo Young only her character in this drama that I hate a lil.Lee Bo Young you really do a great job for me to hate your character in this drama haha!!!I love LBY’s acting since watched her in Queen Of The Game!I’m loving this drama!fighting!

this drama is wonderful. So Hyun Kyung is definitely my favotire screen writer.
