Synopsis
The drama is based on famous folklore.
A nobleman named Kim Eun Oh (Lee Joon Ki) comes to town searching for his mother after hearing a rumor that she is staying at the village of Miryang. He has the special ability to see spirits, but pretends he doesn’t because he gets annoyed when spirits come up to him asking for a favor.
Arang (Shin Min Ah) has lost all her memories when she became a ghost and is unable to rest in peace until she finds out how she ended up dead. However, after appearing to three magistrates, none of them survive the fright of seeing her. When she finds out that Eun oh is able to see her, she begs for his help.
At first, Eun Oh rejects her request. However he changes his mind after seeing that Arang is somehow in possession of the hairpin that he gave his mother at their last meeting. He believes that if he helps her, Arang will regain her memories and give him information about his mother. He exasperatedly (then affectionately) nicknames her “Amnesia” and as the town’s newly installed magistrate, he teams up with her to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death, which may involve the mysterious nobleman Joo Wal (Yun Woo Jin) and have supernatural ramifications.
As Eun Oh and Arang gradually unravel the mystery behind her death, they find out the events that have been set in motion have been a trap of the Jade Emperor, in his attempt to capture a rogue Fairy of Heaven who feeds on human souls. The gods cannot touch her as long as she is in a human body. Arang and Eun Oh’s participation in the events is crucial because this Fairy also happens to be the sister of Moo Young, the Grim Reaper of Hades, who cannot forget the love he once bore for his sister and is unable to bring her to justice. It is later revealed that the Jade Emperor saved Eun Oh as a child from a deadly sickness, resulting in his ability to see spirits. He also set Arang free from the bonds of the Grim Reaper after her death, thereby making her a spirit who roams the earth. In this game of supernatural stakes, Arang and Eun Oh who fall in love gradually have to pay the price because Arang has only three full moons in which to solve the mystery of her death and defeat their enemy…(Source)

Have u seen in JGfamily in fb there’s one post there about the ratings then suddenly I heard a song playing in the background…I was really surprised to hear it,try to listen it there I guess thats the song of LJK the ost of Arang ‘Eun Oh’s OST’…not sure though but it sounds like LJK’s voice if ever it was really the OST of Arang then my God it bring shivers to my bones!its a ballad song..

All: From JGfamily facebook page i got the info that there is spoiler , they said that Arang is a life cos Jade Emperor give her a chance to find out the truth about her self, and dolswe kind of doesnt like arang cos he thought arang is the reason why his master becomes satto
And the pst said for Ep.4 they will air it from 21.00/23.00 (2 hours) KST however the time and content are not confirm yet^^

Yes, MBC deleted the news about that, so that the content has no valid source, but i wish it would be 2hours air time, how happy i can be??? ^^♡

Since she is a live, there must be more skin ship, romance, nervous, wtc etc etc that can make me giggling like a fool, and of course jealousy, kkkk dolswe to arang, Eunoh sattonim to joo wal, joo wal to satto, kkk ahhh, really cant wait for tomorrow!

O_O The Heavenly King grants Arang new life? It’s not permanent, right? It’s just so she can investigate her death, then she turns back to a ghost, right?
Hmm, I see. So that’s why Joo Wal was shown touching her in the trailer. I always thought that was a flashback, that it’s something that happened in the past… but if the rumour is true and the King gives her new life, then that’s probably how JW was able to see and touch her.
Then that means our theory that he was the one who killed her is probably not true. ^^ Aww… I was hoping it was true because it would be so badass if Joo Wal truly was some kind of psycho killer. I don’t want some cheesy love triangle out of this (if that’s what they’re setting up).

@Tonberry about Arang in boy’s cloth and meeting with Joowal, my friend had her own theory about it. She said that the rumors said arang had run away with an errand boy, me and her believe she didn’t. Her theory was since nobody has ever seen her because she was king of shameful girls that never showed he face, she though actually arang is arang just like the ghost character, full of energy, cheerful, and have a high spirit, maybe the errand boy was her, using boy’s clothes nobody recognized her, and she was meeting JooWal coincidentally, kkk…. just another theory, haha

But now I have another theory , seeing the long teaser where JooWal With Ninja cloth and knife, there are two possibilities, 1st it was a flash back 2. After the Jade Emperor grants her, jooWal meets her and chooses her as the next victim. And when he tries his action, EunOh gets the feeling of Arang is in danger, kkk

Yes, I also guess that it was a flashback where Joo Wal was holding a knife:)since Arang is alive..she probably remember everything and she tells what happen the time she was about to die…
But I also remember in ep2 where Joo Wal went to the house of Gisaeng when he went out he told to himself ‘What I am doing in here?it seems like he was looking for someone and that someone is a ‘SHE’ cud it be Arang?if yes then he probably don’t kill Arang?
This drama makes me think too much…my brain cells really works alot.*___*

Hmm.., about the kiss that will going to happen in ep3,do you think it’s real?not just a dream?maybe Eun Oh was just dreaming?coz he was totally disturbed the time they did the meausring stuff?hahaha that scene truly makes me laugh:D Arang is too forward and too pure..my gawd,she was never been kissed in her past life pfffttt:)

We discussed about the kissing scene too, and it’s balance, some said it’s too fast for having the kissing scene compare to other dramas, but others said, A&M doesn’t like other dramas, so the kissing scene is really possible!
And I don’t think even she is alive, her memory comes back! I think the Jade emperor just grants her live for her to find the truth, that means she is still as blank as she was a ghost about the mystery of her live.
