Synopsis
‘Ghost’ tells the story of the cyber investigation squad fights against the cyber crimes.
Kim Woo Hyun (So Ji Sub) is the only son of a high ranking police officer. He entered the police academy ranked first and graduated from the academy ranked first. As a detective, he then joins the cyber investigation department together with Yoo Gang Mi (Lee Yeon Hee). Woo Hyun then works to reveal the secrets of those that hide within the cyber world.

Here is my take at the end of episode 2 at the memorial of fallen police offers:
So Ji Sub will now play the character of Park Ki Young who is disguised as
the appearance of Detective Kim Woo Hyun. So Ji Sub character Kim Woo Hyun died in the hospital during surgery after the explosion while Park Gi-Young survived his surgery.
Daniel Choi will play the character of Hades. Who is Hades? Is Hades Park Ki Young evil twin brother? Is he the guy with the gold watch that has the world map on it who push Shin Hyo Jung out of her apartment window as shown on the Park Ki Young laptop. He was also seen outside the drugstore in a fancy car waiting for Shin Hyo Jung to come out of the drugstore.
Who order the plant to be explosed where Park Ki Young and Detective Kim Woo Hyun was having their meeting about the case. Now both men are serious injured.
Towards the end of Episode 2. Did Hades order a hit on Detective Kim Woo Hyun at the hospital. The hit man is wearing Vans Checkerboard Slip-on Shoes trying to inject a substance into the iv at the Radiology before the lights powered out. The hit man with the Vans Checkerboard shoes steps out of the radiology room to check out why the power went out. See the light switch was in the off position and switches the light switch to the on position. He heads back in the Radiology room and finds the gurney missing. He heads out looking for the person who took the gurney is Yoo Kang Mi . I guess he is going to kill that person if caught by him too.
The hit man is a guy wearing Vans Checkerboard Sip-on Shoes what is his story? Vans Checkerboard Sip-on guy was at the computer typing and rec’d a reply from Hades.

@joe gud to know daniel is still in the show..i wonder how he will potray the role of a villian coz he’s always been the good guy..anyways villains are always sexy looking..
hope his role shines in this star studded drama..

OK, so SJS plays Gi Young, but how does Daniel Choi become Hades? When Daniel Choi was Gi Young, Hades was sb else, or looked like sb else, right?

There will be no more Hades. Focus will be the new Woo Hyun trying to find the actual culprit who influenced the actual Woo Hyun to be involved in murder as per in the video.

I think reason why Daniel is not focused in this drama later in the episodes because the villain who took the disguise of Daniel’s face cannot go to public because Daniel is supposed to be dead, thus the villain may be in presence in the drama on few occasions only.

Like it but very sad to see no more Daniel Choi to watch since he was dead at the end of Ep 2 unless it is some hidden factors that I overlooked.

Very typical of Asian drama storyline, alot of convoluted plots to keep viewers in suspense. In the end, the writers will conveniently end the drama simply with the goods guys successfully winning and bad guys getting the slammer/ lose.

The good guy character is too stiff, innocent and boring. Which is why I will be rooting for the villain in this drama, it will be a first time for me, LOL

Aissyyyhhhhhhh…… just joking, watch the dramas for entertainment purpose only, I have cable tv at home but find the US programs to be dull, but the Asian dramas can be somewhat entertaining with its comedic, twisted plots and over dramatized emotional plots, LOL
Everyone needs entertainment with feel good ending, even I myself got upset with the endings of Fashion King and Rooftop Prince. I refuse to watch dramas with sad endings. Love Rain was a total bore, yet I watched it since I know the ending will be good, LOL

Oh, I’m really enjoying the current batch of Weds/Thurs series – Ghost, Bridal Mask and I Do, I Do. Love that they are of different genres offering us more choices without having to get into the game of comparison.
What I love about this drama is the intrigues, actions, twists and turns that come fast and furious. The tight pacing makes it a very compelling watch. I’m fascinated by some of the characters, especially that of Daniel Choi’s, the ‘mad cow’ police and So Ji Sub after he assumed Gi Young’s character. I’m also looking forward to Uhm Ki Joon’s role. Bet he’ll be playing the bad guy, maybe Hades?

I don’t know what to think about this drama.. It’s so thrilling and exciting at the same time.. We just have 2 eps (today came out the 3 one, but I haven’t watched it) and OMG!! It’s all twisted.. I’m going crazy.. This is the first time I’m so excited from the beginning and I’m waiting impatiently for each episode!!

Did Kim Woo Hyun died after the blast? It seems like but it doesn’t seem right somehow.

@Pooh-99! Yes he did die! The other officer, his friend who he was talking to when the blast occurred received reconstructive plastic surgery of KWH’s face. Since now everyone will believe its KWH, thanks to the female detective who lied about the finger prints and switched dental records so they can find out who is behind the cyber corruption.
Maybe you should re-watch it again to get a better understanding of what happened. I do that sometimes when a scene is not clear or to see what I may have missed when I’m so involved in a drama.
