Looks like SBS has done it again, they surely know how to make such romantic-comedy drama. Those four just like F4 with older fashion but funny styles. Four men four women and four complicated love stories.

I don’t get the Korean culture. What is the big deal in having a son in highschool??? I mean he didn’t betray Yi Soo… Please anyone who knows the reasoning of their issue… Help me understand
August 1st, 2012 at 10:39 pm
@imhel,
Abt your Qn posted on another thread:
I’m now hearing that they might show AGD’s last 2 eps this weekend. You might want to check on Aug 4, 5.
@Onna-614,
But no worry. She doesn’t mind, so he eventually turns around.
If you read the comments fr earlier pages, we didn’t understand either. Just that DJ feels he is now not good enough for her since he comes w so much baggage. It is not a v good plot point.

@KDaddict-615
thanks for explaining their issue to me about their baggages. i will just try and understand that each culture is different this time. what is big deal to one and not to the other.
anyway it is still a great series

August 3rd, 2012 at 7:06 am
@hny,
I don’t watch Taiwanese drama, J dorama, Hong Kong drama, or Chinese drama. Only K drama. Hee hee. Oh, and a few choice American series when I can.
With no KD these 2 weeks, I got a chance to go to the cinema! Yay! I saw 2 summer films: Ice Age 4 n Madagascar 3. They are so good! I laughed and giggled all the way. I’ll see the new Doraemon film and Batman this week, b4 KDs return.
Believe it or not, I actually welcome this break fr KD.

@hny-620,
The short answer is No. The long ans is:
Dramas fr Mainland China r exercises in realism, the difficulty of getting housing, making ends meet, dealing w in-laws, etc. My feeling is, if I want real life, why should I be looking for it on tv?
HKG tv only shows the same 12 faces. They dont even change their hairdo. Whatever role they r playing, I only see the actor, never the char.
Taiwanese drama, many years ago, my mom was watching Meteorite Garden; I watched 2 eps of it w her, n it cured me of any wish to ever see T drama again. I’m sure they’ve changed since then, but my 1st impression of it hasn’t.
Only saw 3 J-doramas in my life. They r O-Shin, Ooku and Atsu-Hime. All 3 are historical drama; all 3 r national dramas; all 3 are perfect! Other than that I know no J-dorama. Unless you count Doraemon! Hee.
I put up with crap in KD (cliches, lousy scripts, illogical developments, stupid endings) that I wouldn’t tolerate in other dramas, all for my love of Hyun Bin, PSH, GY, HJW, KSA, CJW, etc. etc.
You MUST see Ice Age 4. I wanna see it AGAIN!
August 3rd, 2012 at 4:31 pm
i’m gonna miss this drama…specially the 4 ajushi
and it’s gonna end this weekend!
August 3rd, 2012 at 5:51 pm
i really like this drama. it made me laugh out so loud. i believe this is the first drama that has a humor similar to mine. maybe because i could relate to their stories – 30s to 40s.
i dont get the major issue between JDG and KHN though. it could have been a perfect 10 drama but sadly i will give it a 8.5 because of the shallow “I have a son and im not fit to be your partner anymore” and “huhuhu, you have a son what will i do now…” crap.
anyway i could still recommend this drama as a must watch. you wont regret it.
