I watched on jtbc several episodes. Which meant no English subtitles. I hope they release a DVD or have it on air again so I feel I can watch it properly. I was bawling for at least 3 episodes. The reason it is called happy endings if I caught context and read the summary correctly is that he died a happy death being in a good relationship will all the members of his family and just in a good place. Even though he had a painful end he was able to have peace, as were the rest of the family. And it seemed like he had a short time left. I got the impression he was a better person at the end than he was before the life changing news from the doc. The people close to him were actually were sad to see him go. And had good memories of him as well. In Korea it is important that your love one die calm and ready, something to do with their transition after death. Language barrier did not stop me from totally enjoying the series. It is a good cry.
