Synopsis
“Dummy Mommy” is a story about a tale of love, conflict and reconciliation between three women of different generations.
Kim Young Joo (Kim Hyun Joo), a genius with an IQ of 200 and the youngest editor of a leading fashion magazine, is constantly embarrassed by her dim-witted mother, who has an IQ of 56. Ashamed of her mother’s intellectual disability and suffocated by her affection, Young Joo runs away to get married and leaves her mother behind. Young Joo, in turn, gives birth to her own daughter and finds herself in a different position.

I just watched the 2 ep of Dummy Mommy.
Kim hyun Joo such beautiful great actress, and the drama seems a meaningful one. Like Gong Hyun Joo told in press conference I have this hunch that this drama will stay in the heart of its viewer for a very long time.

Finished watching Ep 4. All the actors actresses acting are good. The story very touching. Kim Hyun Joo, a very successful career women, why hv to suffer so much then divorce – is it worth just for her child sake. (spoilt, bratty, rude) Can’t understand, is it necessary?
I love the scene, when Kim Hyun Joo’s husband slapped her once in the hospital , KHY slapped him twice back. I cannot stand if KHJ did not slap him back bc he deserves it a thousand times…….
I love most is the male (the miser) and female comedian (KHJ’s sis) here. It brings life to this drama. haha ha

Spoiler – after watching ep6
Now I know why its call Dummy Mommy. Actually the elder sister of Kim Hyun Joo is her mom and not elder sister. Hope I am right.
I really love the acting of Shin Hyun Joon and Ha Hee Ra. Both really made this show a comedy… especially Shin Hyun Joon – when ever he speaks – I started to laugh. hehehehehe

This drama is really good.
The husband or better now ex-husband just pisses me off.
He just hurts Young Joo so much.
I hope that she will not get back together with him at the end.
But after I watched episodes 5 and 6 I have hope that they won’t end up back together:)
And also Jae Hee is so lovely.
I really like his character and he cares so much for Young Joo.
The scenes they had in episode 5 and 6 were just adorable. Young Joo cannot show her feelings for him yet, I mean she just divorced her husband and I also think that she knows that Jae Hee has a wife. But I hope that Jae Hee and her will have a beautiful romance and it is obvious that Jae Hee loves Young Joo more than his wife. Can’t wait till Jae Hee and Young Joo romance blossom out<3

it’s my second comment, but I want to encourage everyone to watch this great drama. Once again the pretty Kim Hyun Joo showing her great skills of acting, this drama is so far much better than the drama showing in tuesday and wednesday

This drama is so funny and the cast are great! Not every kdrama has to focus mainly on romance. Love the interaction among the mothers and daughters. And Shin Hyun Joon is brilliant, reminded me of Jack Nicholson in As Good As It Gets.

While the acting in this drama is great, the theme is really offensive! The way the scumbag ex-husband and the mistress talk about the mom with low IQ is so repulsive, I don’t think I could carry on watching.

Oh, the information here is incorrect. This ‘Han Soo In’ is not Je Ha’s wife. She’s his fiancee, according to the official site. Yeah, they’re engaged but I think she’s in America as of now. She’s a doctor as well, and a very good one at that, apparently.

hv watched ep 8.
I m kind of tired bc Kim Young Joo is always bullied by her husband & his mistress and no one come to her rescue. & her “brother” & daughter also create lots of problems.
Want to divorce, don’t want to divorce. It keep repeating and repeating.
I starting to feel stress for KYJ already. If the script don’t turn to her advantage, i m gg to stop this drama.

I found that this drama is really interesting. Even the title seem uninteresting, It’s proven that I am wrong. Even the actors and actresses can’t be compared to currently airing such as The King2 hearts, Rooftop, Love Rain, Fashion King, and etc. This is one of the best for beginning half year of 2012.
