Synopsis
“Love Rain” depicts a 1970′s pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the offsprings of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love.
Seo In Ha (Jang Geun Suk) and Kim Yoon Hee (Yoona), a art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be.
Now in the present 21st century, Seo In Ha’s son, Seo Joon (Jang Geun Suk) (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with Kim Yoon Hee’s daughter, Kim Ha Na (Yoona), a cheerful and energetic girl who’s personality is different from her mother’s.
Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents? (Source)

i think the drama is saved because of the popular actor and actress, but the storyline is very slow, i fall asleep in the middle of the story.
It’s more worse than Mary me marry and You’are beautiful

Love Rain is the BEST DRAMA OF ALL TIME!!
The drama is unique and different from other korean dramas…..The Beautiful drama is full of sorrow and laughter at the same time. It is soo addictive that i watched the latest episodes without English Subs and i still did not miss a single episode even though i had tests!!

the best korean drama i’ve seen in years. captured some important themes: power of memory, first loves, generational gaps. Fine acting and solid story make this a very addictive bitter-sweet story. I love it!!
And I love Jeung Geun Suk’s portrayal of the young shy artist! Wonderful, heart-aching.

if it wasn’t because of JKS I wouldn’t have finished watching this drama…or even continued after the 10th episode..it gets extremely dramatic and sad…JKS is an amazing actor and definitely makes you feel his pain, he moved me to tears a few times but the story line was very painful towards the end…Be ready to cry.
However the very first 4 episodes portray a beautiful love story in my opinion..
Again if it wasn’t because of JKS I wouldn’t have finished this drama..
Yoona is a terrible actress..though she is beautiful, she had a hard time portraying emotions, just not believable.

This drama is a snoozefest. The lead actress is stiff as a brick. She can’t emote at all, and the lead actor looks like a girl… with a bad nose job. They have no chemistry whatsoever. Why did the production team even make this drama? There’s nothing interesting in it at all. It just the same old generic love story we’ve seen a dozen times before… a decade ago. People don’t watch these kinda of slow-moving, plotless melodramas anymore. No wonder their ratings are in the shitter. Doesn’t matter if you got an idol to star in your drama. If it sucks, people won’t watch.
(…please, somebody tell Jang Geun Suk to go get his nose fixed… and sue that doctor who made him looked like that to begin with. The weird shape of it is driving me nuts. Poor guy. I actually like his acting. It’s unfortunate he’s got that super girly face and a messed up nose.)

I start watching this drama but it doesn’t sink in to my expectation maybe the selection of characters doesn’t fit to those actors and actress portraying the role. The male lead is too beautiful…

boring movie!!. Like an old drama in high school. It has a great scoring because the actor and actress are so popular. Nothing special. I just skip and skip this film when I watched it. The story is very bad. It’s so easy to guess the story, the ending. I’m dissapointed with this film. I really hope Yoona and Geun Suk will make a great story. But in the end… BOOM!! dissapointed!!!!!!!
