Synopsis
“Love Rain” depicts a 1970′s pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the offsprings of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love.
Seo In Ha (Jang Geun Suk) and Kim Yoon Hee (Yoona), a art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be.
Now in the present 21st century, Seo In Ha’s son, Seo Joon (Jang Geun Suk) (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with Kim Yoon Hee’s daughter, Kim Ha Na (Yoona), a cheerful and energetic girl who’s personality is different from her mother’s.
Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents? (Source)

I think JGS played better in this drama than in You are Beautiful. I saw his dramas some, and I think the best of his cast was in Beethoven Virus.
Love Rain is not bad but not the best ones I think. I will give 7.5/10

I find the pace of the story a bit slow and find that this show is saved by the great acting of Jang Geun Suk.. I love the sceneries throughout the whole drama and especially the songs. So in love with the songs. Anyone know where I can download the songs where the three boys sang the main theme song, Love Rain sang by Jang Geun Suk? the 3 of them sang on stage in the first few episodes of the drama? I already have all the love rain ost songs except for the song sang by the 3 friends.. thanks in advance!

I love this drama so much. I love JGS very much too. He plays it so well. I’ll give 10 for this drama. It should be better than “You’re beautiful”. I also love the songs. JGS sings well. I could’t stop to watch it and listen to the songs. I have to watch it every day. I wish that he’ll play more dramas every year. So I can watch him more. I could not stp to watch him. He is the greatest actor. I wish JGS doesn’t feel bad about the “low rate”. I think that it’s some kind of mistake about the rate. I don’t care what people think about the rate. I’ll love JGS forever and love to watch his shows too. I wish JGS knows about it and do not give up. I only think that JGS’s partner(girl player) isn’t good at all. He should pay attention to.

Love Rain is the BEST DRAMA EVER!!!
is unique and different from other korean dramas…..The Beautiful drama is full of sorrow and laughter at the same time!!! It is soo addictive that i watched the latest episodes without English Subs!!
I m sure Yoona and Jan Gan Seuk will win Thousands of Awards for their Phenomenal performance!!!
Guys let’s make our Favourite drama Love Rain to extend 2 Episodes or EVEN MORE!!!

In the phil, there are 3 air times; 5am, 2:10pm,9pm. because love rain is so good to watch, i make sure i watch it 3 times a day. the cast is just great They can convey to the viewers the emotions. BRAVO

this drama series is well produced, thanks to the writer and the director; all scenes shot have a definite purpose, not just shot to lengthen the episodes, so i do not think it was dragging at all, like what some comments said, but maybe because the series is purely romance. the casting is also great, lead and supporting roles well acted. the gist of the story is not unique, but the circumstances of how the story is woven is interesting that makes it worth waiting for the next episode. like in the few korean dramas i’ve watched, i appreciate the subs, but i wish i understood the stories while spoken in korean so nothing was lost in translation. am sure this drama gets nominated in some acting award next year, for that alone, watch this drama so you will understand why it may win. cheers!!!

to tell the truth…the drama is too slow….talk too much too….compare to the other dramas tht are airing at the same time….love rain is kinda boring…sorry just my opp….i like this drama too just tht…it’s too slow like winter sonata or those old korean dramas….just a sentence can drag so long….i keep on forward the drama especially the scene of Jun Ha and Yoon He…gosh…they are bored LOL…..just my opp anyway…

The most EMBARRASSING drama of all time..not only about this drama copy a movie ‘The Classic’..but the acting of the main lead.,Ost .,storyline and others also lack and shameful..for me JGS is better in YB than this one..Like @drama freak says..,compare to the other dramas that airing at the same time..,truthfully say this drama standard really far behind others drama..In Korea..,what rating have LR got right now just only from his fans..and yoona’s fans..bcause korean drama lovers or viewers has clever enough to choose what drama will bring something different.,and interesting story..and LR really not their choice…..
