Synopsis
“Love Rain” depicts a 1970′s pure love and a love from the present day at the same time. It shows how the offsprings of a previous ill-fated couple, who met in the 1970s, managed to meet and fall in love.
Seo In Ha (Jang Geun Suk) and Kim Yoon Hee (Yoona), a art student and a shy beauty, met and fell in love with each other during college in the 1970s but unfortunately their love was fated to never be.
Now in the present 21st century, Seo In Ha’s son, Seo Joon (Jang Geun Suk) (a liberal photographer) meets and falls in with Kim Yoon Hee’s daughter, Kim Ha Na (Yoona), a cheerful and energetic girl who’s personality is different from her mother’s.
Will their love for each other keep them together or will they have to face the same fate as their parents? (Source)

Jennie…kdfan…I just finish the final
this drama started sweetly…going smoothly and ending perfectly…I’m very satisfied…I’m full of smile. It is one of a kind indeed. I LOVE LOVE RAIN…I LOVE all the cast….love the writer…producer and director…hehe…thank for giving us such a beautiful drama.
PS: Jennie…we were wrong about getting the towel ready…lol…

I dont know why this drama got low rating ! But this is the best drama ever ! And the ending were so perfect ! I love all the cast ! Geunsuk ang yoona looking good together indeed !

@kanha yes i think satisfied is the word. it was a very pleasant watch throughout and 20 eps feels just right for me.
@Jennie if the final on ionair came with subs, do u know if that was added on by ionair or does that mean it was showing live in korea with subs? i m surprised if it was aired by kbs live with subs. if they did, it means they recognized the following is much stronger outside of the country.
i really like yoona here. i think she has proven she can step up to much more challenging roles. i particularly like her ability to build chemistry with any actors. whether she ends up with joon, sunho or taesung,i think she can make it believable.

@kanha Yep, thank goodness that we didn’t need any towels, not even tissues. There were tears, but mostly tears of joy for Hana and Joon and Yoon Hee who recovered. This is definitely not a sad drama but a feel good drama cos it makes us all warm and fuzzy inside, heh? (Y)

The ending was so Romantic and Sweet!!!!
The part where JGS and Yoona was sooo cute!!! I still cant accept the fact that my Favourite drama has ended!!!!

this drama is the best romantic korean drama i’ve ever watched…. wonderful story with a smooth flow… never boring and can even watch 100 times still i will feel the love between the two couples as if im watching it for the first time. ive already watched it twice and love the colours and the backgrounds… excellent work! i couldnt stay till i finish watching it and now im sad that it ended…. ive been living in the drama and now i already miss it…

@kdfan The subs are not by KBS but by Ionair. The subs are not really word by word, more like a quick summary of what the actor is saying but it’s more than enough for us to understand about what is being said. And it’s not only for LR but subs are available for other dramas too, and in other languages too like Chinese and Japanese. Yes, agree with you re Yoona. I think the same goes to JGS too and that’s why they are so popular with other stars and fans as well. Just saw Yoona on Happy Together last night. She dropped in in between filming LR to join the other SNSD girls who were guests. She was so sweet and pretty! If I were a guy, I’d vote her my ideal girl girl too…haha! I think because of LR, she has made me a fan of hers too!

Love watching this drama!!!! Jang Geun Suk played fabulously!! He is such a great actor. Yoona also potrayed the character well..
By any chance, can some one tell me the closing ost ttitle..I love that song, but couldn’t find it. I tried the given link, but still can’t get the closing song.

what I wish was this drama ended much later, 5 to 8 more episode to enjoy the warm and lively feeling of each character, especially of the two lovely couple Seo Joon & Jung Ha Na. More of Lee Sun Ho who was the savior in his own way.
Enjoyable dramas seem to have low rating, this drama seem to fall into it. No matter what I will vote for it anytime.
