Synopsis

@Mic Hi Mic, is this really good? I love Ojak Bros and ratings are good for this as well BUT after QoR, the thought of seeing Kim Nam Joo in another drama give me the shudders! Ugh! I can already picture her in all those power suits, “I am right and you are wrong” attitude and that voice, yikes! Guess I’ll give this a miss!

i just love this drama.it really make me laugh loud.the casts are all great.and so with the story line.i hope the subbings will not take so long to wait.i am already looking forward to the succeeding eps.kudos to the production and casts.

i can watch it every weekend at kbsw now, yeah, family orientated kdrma, and it’s the peak time for all families sit together to watch it, but until now i dont see any WOW factor in this slot..just laugh2 n finished..hummm , y? y? even the rating is >30% -_-

KIM NAM JOO becomes ugly ! on My Wife is a Superwoman she was pretty ! on Queen of reversals she was too cute ^^ ! now… on “Unexpected You” she’s VERY UGLY o_O (I hate her hair) What’s happened ? the surgery … ??

yeah, i too caught this drama accidently on kbs channel 391, sats & suns…now i know why new dramas that are packed with adrenaline charged scenes n modern storylines are not getting much favour from the local ahjummas in korea. it is this type of family-oriented, non-taxing, non-violent n morally upright stories promoting family togetherness that are getting all the action….n votes!
just like ojakgyo bros, smile, donghae n so on….this drama does not need much thinking as mind boggling issues are kept to its minimum altho there may be some conflict among family members over property, over inheritance n where materialism overtakes warm family values…
just take a look at the ratings…its a 1st rite from the start thanks to the excellent acting of veteran actors n actresses who performed well…most of the time anyways….but kim nam joo, albeit her messy hairstyle likes to overact at times n i cant get over the fact that shes a married woman in real life n cant quite picture her acting all lovey dovey with her male lead!
other than that, theres nothing new at this stage….its like the same old same old issues of a family losing their young son (a bit like smile, donghae) while the son ended up adopted overseas n returns to korea n found his biological parents!
basically, it is a non-taxing, relaxing way to round up your weekends if you decide to watch this!

Ji Jin Hee (cameo) – spotted at the end of episode 19 and the beginning of episode 20 at a ladies church luncheon in restaurant playing a priest or playing a pastor of a church that Uhm Chung-Ae attend to. Also accompanying Uhm Chung-Ae is Cha Yoon-Hee. The ladies at the luncheon start their prayers before eating their lunch at the table … so funny is when Priest/Pastor played by Ji Jin Hee places is hand on the Cha Yoon-Hee starts to pray also … trying to get the bad thoughts out of Cha Yoon-Hee (just a guess here).
