YSY was brilliant in M2F and yes, M2F was an excellent drama. JCW is doing well in this drama (Bachelor’s Vegetable Store). I think it was a tactical move on YSY’ behalf for not acting in Bachelor’s Store as it would only cement his acting career to dramas featuring life stories of ppl when he had repeatedly said he wanted to shake the Baker King’s image so that ppl will love him as an actor, not as Kim Tak Gu. I think we should give both actors – YSY and JCW, the credit they deserve… both did so well and am proud of this young generation of actors. They can really act. Bright future!

@ 36 Drama lover : I love Yoon Shi Yoon too, but sadly even him couldn’t have done something to upgrade the show. JCW is good in his part, as the female lead. The script is just too ‘old school’ ( birth secrets, noble idiocy and a lot of tears ). It’s strangely the same problem than with Me Too flower : They should have kept the frank rom com tone. And Geez, that opening sequence with the vegetables comes directly from the seventies. Repulsive. The fun in this show comes from the bromance, and the side lovelines. And the store is just magnificent.

I’m so happy YSY dropped this drama.the first few episodes are good as they focus on his career.but the rest are so focused on his personal life and that illogical child switch story.i really can’t relate to ga on’s character.why she can’t make any decision?this is the evil mother who committed the sin but why she still threatens ga on?how it is possible you can’t recognize the one you saw when they were 14.you don’t change to the point that one can’t recognize you at all.specially the one who ‘s never forgot you for 12 years.the story is based on real life story.how such a weak stupid man who only cries for losing his love can be that successful?

I know the mother is probably not the worst villain in KD history, but she is definitely topping my list! She is so greedy and selfish, all she can think of is herself, without a hint of decency! And I know this is getting personal, but I am not too fond of that lip liner drawn outside her lips either. Haha!

Ji Chang Wook had a car crash accident a couple of days ago. He was a passenger in front and got 4 stitches + a good fright. Updated news here : http://cherkell.tumblr.com/

thnx for that info Mystisith, i didn’t know he was in an accident, i’m glad it’s not too major injury for him, just luv this actor since seeing him in sons of sol pharmacy & smile dong hae!
i’m loving this drama & i hope it’s up to 24 episodes coz i’m watching epis 20 & it seems like it’s ending already?
March 1st, 2012 at 12:27 am
i just read that news about him and thanks again to Mystisith for sharing that site….i hope & pray JCW won’t have anymore internal injuries as serious as hitting his forehead! they said he was asked to get back to the set a few hours after the accident! what is Korean entertainment doing with their celebs to make them work like a mule? apparently it indicated in that news that his manager was driving & feeling drowsy at that time & he was sitting in front & got hit on his forehead! luckily he seems ok.
get well soon Ji chang wook ssi! i’ll pray for your speedy recovery! we luvya

@sangjhoon : As much as i love Kdramas, doing a drama is a marathon for actors, and when something unexpected happens it can become hellish. 120 mns of drama to wrap EACH week, when the shooting of a 1H30 movie is done in 2 or 3 months. Can you imagine the pace ? That’s why comedians who have the choice frequently prefer to stay in movie industry or even shooting CFs.
If you want to study the matter in depths, and if you don’t fear being turned off by sad reality of things :

Episode 22, sweet sweet!

Did I miss something on the final episode? How did they get to re-operate the store again? Did Ga-On’s father forgive Tae Yang? I didn’t remember seeing that part, other than that, very happy ending!

Im on ep 11 omg i couldnt stop watching it. and its really sad in the beginning. plus Shin Won Ho is just damn adorable. im not sure about the main girl Ga On? i dont really trust her somehow. no offence but the directors should got a girl who looks similar to the young Jin Shim. im not saying that the charatcer for Ga On is ugly. its just i dont connect the storyline…
