Synopsis
A drama that contrasts a woman who succeeds with knowledge and reason and a woman who weaponizes appearance and sensitivity.
Byun So Ra comes from an ordinary background, but she works very hard. She is then betrayed by her boyfriend and her dreams of becoming a professor fails. Byun So-Ra then joins a cosmetics company and she also meets a rival with whom she clashes in this cosmetics company.
Jae Hee will play the leading man, Yoon Joon Soo. His character is a good looking, smart, and talented chaebol, as he’s the head of this cosmetics company.

Actress Eugene was originally cast for the leading role of Byun So Ra. Her sister was then seriously in a car accident that occurred in Guam. Eugene then decided to withdraw from the drama series.

Jae Hee + Eugene = Sure watch bc I like both – good looking & good acting
Jae Hee + Yoon So Yi = Don’t watch bc I don’t like YSY (she cannot act this role well & she looks older & huge – incompatible with Jae Hee)
I stopped after Ep 3 — Even Jae Hee is 1 of my top fav actor bc I CANNOT CLOSE 1 EYE TO WATCH.
Unbearable with YSY’s acting & weird looks – no suitable for her. Its meant for Eugene
But if u don’t mind YSY looks n her acting – then its up to you.

i wonder why some crew making a drama it airing at cable channel…
just look at the ratings…never reach 1 point..what a waste..
or it is for the international viewers only..?

@ok ok ok It’s a cable drama so it’s perfectly normal that ratings don’t reach 6, 12 or 16 %. Cable dramas like Flower Boys Ramyun Shop which has reached 2% is already considered like pretty successful…
If you don’t like to see Jae-hee pairing with YSY, wait patiently until his next project!

@takgu99, hi, like @Rinie #80 said, it’s normal for cable dramas showing low ratings. I read somewhere that 1% is considered solid for cable channels.

Normally I don’t care about ratings. I care about compatible pairing, acting & chemistry. Of course the script that suits the actors….
Kromio I will wait bc I am Jae Hee’s BIG fan….
Already waited for him 3 years since 2008 after 1 mom 3 dads…
Miss him so much that I repeat his old drama like Delightful Girl Choon Hyang…. its just that I feel sorry that he is being tied down for this …… What a shame.

It’s a pity that others are judging the lead actress just because she is not pretty enough or that she is not Eugene. I haven’t seen any of Yoon So Yi’s earlier dramas but I think her acting is pretty good. She has good chemistry with both Jae Hee and Shim Ji Ho. I’m really digging this drama just because of how the love triangle is being played.

I think her acting & her appearance are not bad. She has beautiful skin, she needs to change her hair style & her contact lenses. She looks good with both the actors. I watched her on the other drama, City of Glass.

I don´t the drama because of the poor acting skills. I think all three of them coul have done better, especiallly YsY…(I know her from Warrior Baek Dong soo), but Wang Jin Joo…is the character I hate the most because of her unatural voice…

I missed Jae hee and I am happy that he is back with this drama. Others seem not to like the actress opposite Jae Hee but to me it’s quite okay. She seems to carry her character well, she fits her role as a clumsy, nerdy and having an ugly duckling apperance. I thinks It’s the first time that I got to like her. I’ve seen her in a few dramas but I think she fits well in doing light comedies like this. The two leads seems to go well also.

Why so many people are attacking the main actress. I am looking forward to this drama. And I think the lead actress is fine and I have saw her in another drama before and it’s pretty good. I just hop this drama will not be a super long drama that seem’s never end. Because I hate dramas that are longer than 50 esp, it usually made the drama even worst. Keep fighting for Jae Hee….

my sis tried 3 times to watch ep 1 on diff days but still did not manage to complete the whole episode bc the lead actress is not convincing.
BC of Jae Hee, my sis is thinking whether to give this drama another chance but the chances is very slim bc there are many new gd dramas with gd actors & actresses.

This is so Korean drama, they created a second male lead who is so dedicated to the female lead, handsome and dedication, it’s hard not to root for him. But since it’s Korean drama, you also know he will never be the one to get the girl. Frustrating!!!
