Synopsis
This drama shows how devastating and hurtful it can be for a woman to live with a boyfriend before marriage and not end up tying a knot with him. Korea has the second highest divorce rate in the world as more and more families become ruined — mainly because one of the spouses cheats. To make things worse, the mass media continues to champion premarital cohabitation as a choice that unmarried couples are free to make. Terms of Endearment depicts today’s harsh reality and once again reminds us of the sacred meaning of marriage and the importance of family.

I really felt this drama very remarkable, coz’ it’s true that when ur hubby cheated on you it seem that it’s almost end of the world. But finally you’ll be surprised to find it to yourself that you’ll become stronger to face the obstacle you might encounter later on. Thanks to the producer of this drama for giving/playing this true-to-life storyline.
Actors and actresses need to be commended for playing the role geniunely. althoug I’ve not yer finished watching this but it’s worth of your time.

A very touching drama i’ve ever watched. Although I’m not korean but i love to watch korean drama series. And this is an excellent one. I cried a lot while watching this. The ending here is very good compare to other dramas that i’ve already been watched. Anyway i rated this 9/10. To you Han Ga In, Ji Sung and Song Il Gook and the rest of the cast congratulations.

one of my favorite korean drama ever! l love the whole story..most of the episode really makes me cry..im just very happy that its a happy ending!

I watched TOE just because Sig ,he played very beautiful in this (others play good too).Since his appearanced in eps 25 the drama became not boring anymore ,he also can maximized his partner acting (in this film:Han ga in) ,watch this drama it’s really good!;-)

Just finished watching this drama.
I watched TOE bcoz of SIG, I’ve been trying to find all of his films. The 1st part is kinda boring coz the story was predictable, but its slowly become more and more interesting.. No wonder it was chosen as Best Drama in 2004.. I love every scenes between eunpah and jangsoo, though I didnt like her at 1st but I cried 4 her in the end.. I’m glad its a happy ending.
Try to watch this drama, its worthy
PS: As always, SIG gave an outstanding performance.

I recomended TOE a ‘must to see’ drama especially for young generation ,we can learn many things in TOE.
!!!
Even in this modern world public still can’t accept free sex.
In many cases women hv to paid all the responsibilities ;humiliated ,disgraced etc.
Just watching this drama series……b’coz it can changed us with a new perspective

until song 2 guk havent entered entered into the drama it was so choppy type as i dont like yun taek(because his performance in save last dance for me) acting and during first 24 episodes i really waited for song 2 guk appear ,when i started liking yun taek a little song 2 guk appears in 25 episode and once song 2 guk is there all limelight get shifted to song 2 guk
yun taek was no where when compared to dashing look and awesome performance of song 2 guk ,i just watched this series because song 2 guk is in this series
song ii guk is just awesome ,he is such a charming and good looking that you can pair him with any actress without consideration ,he looks so well suited and acts in such a style tha you can’t stop watching his drama

in all above post everyone says yun taek character was so good and he is such a sacrificer, but in my views his character was typical narrowminded person,
if he have left eunpah once , why he comes again in her life,
he cant digest her ex lover is living fine with another person and come in there life to make it miserable.
when he chosed his path he shouldve left eun pah to lead her life with joon soo.
i hate such type of people most, who makes life of other people miserable by constantly showing thre faces in front of them asking/pretending to be good and showing thre sacrifice ,that he loved hanga so much that he is able to bear seeing her with some other person. if he is such a sacrificer then he should never ever showed her face to eun pah again.
in my view he is such a jerk such type of people makes the life of not only themselves but other people related to them miserable.
same thing which have done by yun taek in this drama
again his character was not more then a big jerk type.

I’ve been trying to look for this drama in english subtitles since i saw SIG in Jumong.. but in vain.. can’t find it anywhere here in Singapore.. i am now watching it online but incredibly inconvenient although I am thankful they have it online and with english subtitles.
CAn someone who has seen the end of this series tell me whether Joon Su and Eun Pah will be together in the end.. ? if not. i wont bother to watch again.. can’t bear to see SIG losing another girl he loves.. its already agonising to watch him losing out to a woman in Jumong and Kingdom.. so please.. someone, do tell me.. please…

Hi, everyone, I have seen many comments here requesting those who have finished watching tell whether Jang-Soo and Eun-pah stay together in the end or not. After days of searching I found the final episodes (69-70) but the Chinese version without English subtitles. Though it’s very frustrating that I couldn’t understand what was said judging from what I could see they reunite. The ending is not very clear, but I guess it’s a happy ending for them and a very very touching one. I tried to purchase DVD but they don’t ship to Armenia. http://www.phim88.com/online/play-107-1772-30-52634.html this is the link for the chinese version, complete series. If anyone could summarize what was said I’d be very very grateful.
And I completely agree that Song Il Gook made this drama a must-see!!!
